Many thanks to Netgalley and the publsiher for the ARC.

I must be getting emotional in my old age as this is the second Karen Rose book I've cried over!

It's now the story of Thorne and Gwyn. I'll admit an instant dislike to Gwyn in previous books but I do like her now :-).

Anyway, I don't want to give a full review and snippets of what happens but I will say that fans won't be disappointed. Karen's books never let my expectations down and I always look forward to new releases

I can honestly say, hand on heart, this is one of my favourite series ever!! The whole series has flowed with brilliant continuity and seeing the characters develop and delve deeper into their individual stories has been amazing.
Death is Not Enough has been no different, by now it feels like I've been reading this series for so long I know the various characters like family, and during the story, due to the threat against Thorne and the people he cares about, they all have to group together and bring their own brand of "kick ass" to ensure their safety.

Thank you very much Netgalley for this advanced copy of this. I’m a massive Karen Rose fan so always love the chance to read earlier. I will be purchasing this to go on my bookshelf! This is the long awaited Gwyn and Thorne’s story. As usual full from start to finish with excitement, romance and fear! Loved it! And left me wanting more.

Absolutely amazing, Karen you have done it again!!

Having read every book written by Karen Rose, I have to say it just gets better and better. My absolute favourite characters are JD and Lucy, Deacon and Tess and Ford and Taylor, although Clay and Stevie get an honourable mention.

This book was amazing to read, it had all the twists and turns your would expect from Karen Rose and all the steamy bits too...he he.

I really loved how she portrayed Thornes' sensitive side, along with Gwyns' determination to be strong, which is something I personally love, to show a strong woman.

I can't wait to read what happens in the next book, hopefully Diesel and Danni (another great character couple).

Keep up the fantastic work Karen.

I have read all of Karen Rose’s books and they always cause me sleepless nights and this one was no different. I just couldn’t make myself put the book down and stop reading!!

I was especially looking forward to this one as Thorne has always been one of my favourite characters throughout this series – he is my ideal man! Shame he’s not real 🙂

This book is slightly different from the others as with this one we know who the bad guy is from the start almost, but there are still revelations to be had throughout the book and the reasons behind the “Why?” all fall into place and some of the reasons were unexpected!!

Told between Thorne, Gwyn and their tormentor Tavilla’s view really added depth to the characters and the storyline and they are all brilliant characters.

Tavilla is such a great bad guy – violent, psychopathic, and willing to go to any lengths to achieve his goal – destroy Thorne by going after everyone he loves and framing him for murder! Clever!!

Thorne’s friends and family all come together to clear his name putting themselves in danger to save him from himself as much as from Tavilla as well as protecting their own from becoming victims. This book brings back characters from previous books and its great to see how Clay and Taylor are getting along now they have been reunited as well as Daphne, Ford, J.D, Lucy and Stevie since we last saw them.

And of course, there is the romance element! The relationship between Thorne and Gywn gets taken to the next level, from friends and business partners to romance and some pretty steamy sex!! But both have their own demons and secrets that have an impact on both of them. It was about time these two got some luck in the love department!!

I hope there will be a continuation in this series but Karen Rose has a new book out on February 21, 2019 ( Yes I know – ages to wait!! ) Say You’re Sorry (The Sacramento Series Book 1) so it looks like we will be meeting new people with a new series.

Death is Not Enough will be published on 17 May 2018 and can be pre ordered now from Amazon UK or Amazon.com

If you are a fan of Karen Rose you are in for a real treat with this one and although I wouldn’t recommend reading this without reading the other books prior to this one but saying that, it will work as a stand alone novel. But if this is your first Karen Rose book, after reading it you will be desperate to read the rest!!

Say You’re Sorry can also be pre ordered now from Amazon UK

Thank you Netgalley and Headline for my advance copy of Death Is Not Enough.

Absolutely compelling reading that you won’t want to put down!!

This is the sixth book in the Baltimore series and is Brilliant ..........it brings together 2 of my favourite people from this series Thorn and Gwyn . It did not enter my mind that they might fall in love ......what a great surprise .

Mad at Thorn for interfering in her love life Gwyn determines to give him a piece of her mind . She finds him naked in bed , close to death from an overdose of GHB , with a dead mutilated women lying next to him . Someone is setting him up for murder .
The woman is the sister of a student he was accused and acquited of murdering whist a teenager ......Someone is using the past to try to bring Thorn down and the bodies start to mount .....Who is out to get him and why ? They are up against a relentless and clever foe who will kill anyone to get his way , even his own people .
Gwyn and their wide circle of friends and colleagues are determined to prove Thorn's innocence and find the culprit ............even though their lives become at risk also .
Thorn and Gwyn find that their feelings of friendship have now become those of love despite the traumas of the past , making for a more intense story .

The book brings together all their friends -determined to find the killer -whilst protecting their own from his threat . It is a great read alternately being read from the killers viewpoint and then Thorn and Gwyn's giving added depth to the story .

I would like to thank Netgalley and Headline for an advance copy of Death Is Not Enough, the sixth novel in The Blaltimore romantic thriller series.

Gwyn Weaver goes to confront her friend and business partner partner, defence lawyer Thomas Thorne over some of his recent behaviour only to find him close to death from a drugs overdose with a butchered dead woman in bed next to him and his fingerprints on the knife. Gwyn and their closeknit circle of friends rally round to prove his innocence but up against a clever, relentless enemy who knows so much about Thorne and his life things only get worse.

I thoroughly enjoyed Death Is Not Enough which is a heartpounding thriller with plenty of twists and turns and an intriguing romance. Told alternately from both sides, Thorne and Gwyn on one side and their tormentor on the other, the reader gets an immersive read and a wider view of events. I found myself rooting for Thorne and Gwyn at every turn and in awe of their tormentor's capacity for deviousness and ability to hit unerringly where it hurts. It is a thrilling read. With my sensible hat on it is easy to see that none of it is very realistic but with my escapism hat on it's a great read.

As usual I fell in love with the male lead. Thorne is sensitive, smart, honourable and a beefcake with a terrible past not of his making, making you root for him at every turn. Gwyn too hasn't had her troubles to seek and as their secrets come tumbling out of the tightly locked cupboards they've been hidden in the reader has plenty of ooh moments Again not very likely but great reading. Their tormentor is a great villain, violent, psychopathatic, quite possibly mentally ill and very definitely goal orientated. It's chilling stuff.

Death Is Not Enough is a good read which I have no hesitation in recommending

Karen Rose is a great author and her books have always managed to capture my interest.

When I saw that this one was available on Netgalley, I did not hesitate to request it and I was not disappointed. A fast paced thriller with great characters and a lot of story building
