My five year old son and I really enjoyed this book. It's a great twist on a standard super hero story, and the illustration is really appealing. The story centres around Monty and Sylvester, who are super heroes in training, and discover that their vacuum cleaner can be handy in the fight against bad guys! It was a nice easy book to read, and a nice change to have a fun story which we could have a giggle about.

I’ve been looking out for exciting new picture books lately; this year has seemed fairly quiet, so I was very happy to see one up on NetGalley that looked like it had illustrations I would love. I was not wrong because the illustrations throughout this book are so cute and engaging. Whilst I felt like there was just something missing from the story, I did enjoy this book and can definitely see youngsters loving it. I need to try it out on my little sister!

I’m looking forward to seeing what Carly comes up with next because I did like all the little bits of small print that brought the pictures to life and the style of illustration!

Totally bonkers in the best possible way! The quirky illustrations & hapless heroes have bags of charm. An impressive new picture book talent, I'll be keen to see what Gledhill produces next.
