Interesting book. I’ve read this type of book before which can sometimes be rah rah rah and possibly unrealistic for most people.
This book wasn’t like that, it makes sense and has some good ideas. I quite like the examples of what people have done and achieved they are short and simple. However there is a lot of references to her business change.org which is a great company and whilst good examples there were times where i felt like I was reading an advert for that company.
Great read, motivational and easy to follow. Also very realistic
Centred around the author's experience with the wonderful change.org website, this book has inspiring messages and techniques for anyone who wants to build a community, a movement or obtain popularity for a cause.
The author is US based but the book is not typical in style. It is written in a very clear, concise non-gushing way which can sometimes be very annoying in this genre (you know the kind of thing - over emotional, make a million, you have the power, blah, blah). Instead this book offers clear information, written in a mature, adult and professional style.
My only minor gripe? There are so many personal stories that the central message can take some time to become clear, but of no real consequence.
All in all, a very inspiring book. Well worth a read.
