I really enjoyed this book. It's similar in ways to the Calendar Girl books previously released by Audrey Carlan but not so similar it feels recycled, if that makes sense. The set includes the first 3 books of the series, and based on these I can't wait for the remaining books for more of the International Guy Inc guys and to see how this series plays out! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.”
Audrey Carlan brings to life three gentlemen who are the whole package. They are Parker Ellis, Bogart "Bo" Montgomery, and Royce Sterling. These three friends started their own business called International Guy. The Dream Maker, Lovemaker, and Moneymaker cater to women and help them out in every way possible.
In Paris, the whole team assembles to help out heiress Sophie Rolland handle her family business and image taking a very hands on approach.
In New York, we meet movie star Skyler Paige who is in need of Parker's magical personal touch to help balance her personal and professional life. We also meet Wendy Bannerman, the newest addition to the International Guy team.
In Copenhagen, we find Parker helping out Princess Christina Kaarsberg find out what she truly wants in life when love and duty are in play.
Parker, Bo, and Royce make each client feel important and special in their own unique way. They tease out the crux of their issues and get to the heart of the matter so they can solve their problems. I feel that even though Parker first meets with every client to figure out whether the rest of the team is needed, there was not quite enough of Bo and Royce. Since this is a series, I am sure they will be making more appearances and not just cameos.
I have enjoyed Audrey Carlan's Calendar Girl, Trinity, and Lotus House series. International Guy has the same sexiness vibe and good story lines to keep you turning the page. I look forward to seeing where else they will go and who else they get involved with as well as see further developments with the characters we have already met and love.
I'm a huge fan of Audrey carlan's calendar girl series and tbh I picked this up thinking it would be the guy version of calendar girl but I was surprised how different it is. International guy is a business made up of 3 really close friends who all have their own areas of expertise and they are hired as I guess you'd call them life coaches? To sort out various problems. The series takes them to a different city with every book.
Paris: 3/5 - I don't know why but for some reason this didn't read right for me. I found it a little forced and cringey in places. The story was good just not how I imagined it to be I guess.
New York :4.5/5 - loved this one. Chemistry between two main characters was believable and I loved the banter between the two.
Copenhagen :4/5 - I enjoyed this one. Bit different and lots of references to royals etc made it interesting.
Overall a solid start to a series and I can't wait to see what's next. Bring on the next instalment!
I really wanted to like this book, but it was lacking in all the parts that make a good romance what it is. I love a good billionaire that hates love and doesn't want it for himself, but then meets the love of his life. And I love far off excursions. Maybe it was the author's writing style that wasn't for me.
Oh well, I would try a different book though.
I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
A fun read for someone else but just no for me, I struggled to finish the book and was very disappointed because this seemed like this was the type of book I would like but I didn't find it sexy and all.

Dnf.
This wasn't for me.
I had a hard time buying into this one; three guys who specialise in...idk, some kind of whole life makeover for folks who need to buy in their help to look the part or keep up appearances.
Oh and the business name was International Guy. I tried to suspend disbelief, really I did, but I had a hard time imagining a world where a name like that wouldn't incite international derision.
I'm sure that's just me.
All three business partners travelled to Paris to makeover a perfume heiress, showing her how to dress and present herself. Hmm. Anyway, professional they were not, all three guys leering over her and the H feeling her up at every opportunity. It just felt icky rather than sexy and erotic to me.
Then he hooks up with a random (in detail) and I'm just not interested in reading anymore. I was hoping for sexy and romantic not this.
I'm sure plenty of others will enjoy this as the writing flowed well, but this was heavy on the erotic and too light on the romantic for me.
Thanks to the publisher via netgalley for the arc.
I absolutely loved this book! It was fantastic! I loved being in a man’s mind and seeing things from his perspective. Great job!
Sophie needed help running the company that her father left her.
In come Parker, Bo and Royce to give her the guiding hand that she needs to be successful.
Along the way she comes into herself and gains the confidence to succeed.
I love how Audrey brings real artists and their works into the story. It had me googling them along the way.
Parker aka Mr Dream Maker now had been assigned to help Skyler.
Skyler is an actress who has lost her muse for acting.
Parker and Skyler have a chemistry that is unmatched. Parker does everything he can to light Skyler's fire so she will fall in love with acting again.
Will Parker be able to say goodbye to his crush?
Parker is now being beckoned to Copenhagen by Princess Mary to help tame her daughter Princess Christina.
Christina had been in love with Prince Sven forever.
When Prince Sven becomes Heir Apparent Princess Christina changes and becomes a wild child. Trying to get Sven to marry her older sister Elizabeth as she will make a better Queen for the country.
Parker brings in Bo to help Christina see that she will make a wife and Queen.
I received a copy of this book from NetGalley and Montlake Romance in return for an honest review and it was actually the first 3 books of a series of twelve novellas. Having recently read the Calendar Girl series, I can see more than a few similarities between the two. On the surface, they seem very similar just with a gender change for the main character but that is not the case. Parker Ellis and his best friends Bo - Bogart and Roy- Royce are the owner of International Guy Inc., a unique company that helps women achieve their goals and dreams. . Their nicknames are Dreammaker, Lovemaker and Moneymaker. As the stories develop, you see Parker and his two partners are more than just a pretty face and have skills in business as well as with the ladies.
All three stories are entertaining and fun and Carlan develops the women's characters from strong with issues to strong and confident.
Although I've 'read' Audrey Carlan's Lotus House series on audio it doesn't really give you the full experience of reading an author for the first time.
International Guy is comprised of 3 novellas with Parker Ellis as the main character. He is one of three shareholders of International Guy Inc. with his two friends Bogart and Royce.
Each novella takes us to a different city and a different client in need of IG services.
Parker employs different strategies for each of his clients to help solve their problems and does so in the most delicious of ways!
Of the three cities and clients, Copenhagen is definitely my favourite!
I can't wait to find out which of the other guys is next and which cosmopolitan city will be at its centre.
For sure it'll be on my tbr pile!
A new introduction to this author. A very good steamy romance book that will leave you wanting more from this book. Great characters that are relatable.
Just like her Calendar Girl books, this was a fun and easy read. I raced through it. Her books are so much better than Fifty Shades. I'm glad she's writing more. I'll read anything she writes. Light, fun, brain candy. :)
I have never read a series like this and it intrigued me from the blurb alone.
When you start reading a story that has not one, not two but three Hot, successful men in it, what do you think?? Heaven maybe?? Lol.
Their attributes are just mind boggling. They do their job incredibly well. You cannot help wanting to be a part of it.
Unique and so steamy with banter and name dropping that might cause a giggle. The author has written something absolutely amazing!!
They do their utmost to learn everything about their clients, yes everything! Going to the nth degree to complete each job to their utmost ability! Each man has a certain task and it really makes the whole process very interesting indeed!
This volume goes to help a client in Paris, New York and Copenhagen!
The friendships between the men are incredibly open and truthful and they tell each other everything!!! Dear me, you kind of want to be in a room with all 3!!
And the luxuries, the money they make, may make you kind of jealous lol
I admire the authors brilliant mind on creating such a unique and intriguing story! Can't wait for more of this series! I'm definitely #TeamParker
I loved so much about reading these stories I am really excited for more! I want to know what happens!!
Add this series to your TBR list, you won't be disappointed!
Loved this book, The male perspective is a nice change of pace from where we often see the main character is a female telling the story. Another great story from Audrey Carlan
A great read, I really enjoyed all 3 stories and can’t wait to read more. This was my first read by Audrey Carlan and I cannot wait for the rest of the series! I especially loved Parker and Skyler, their chemistry was amazing.
I need more!
BOOK 1
"My gift... I understand women. Parker Ellis is my name, and I am one lucky son of a bitch."
I am a MAJOR fan of Audrey Carlan's CALENDAR GIRL Book Series and am so excited to get a unique male version!!! International Guy is completely different from Calendar Girl with our man, Parker, who runs his International business with his two buddies. It appears we get to go globe trotting in each book experiencing different international destinations along with high end clientele for their unique business!
Book 1, PARIS, was a quick fun read packed with some drama. It lays out the series giving us a brief introduction of what to expect. I can't wait to see where this series takes me to next!
BOOK 2
"I'm not here to judge you. I'm here to help you find yourself again."

Dream Maker aka Parker really touched me with seeing him paired up with his absolute, hottest, celebrity crush this month in NYC! Parker is to help Skyler find her muse...

I really enjoyed this month and seeing them bond. Can't wait to see where Carlan takes us next....
BOOK 3
I could NOT put DOWN this BOOK! I LOVED this royal romance twist with plenty of drama and twists that kept the story going. If your in the mood for a book after that ROYAL WEDDING then this will definitely fill the void! Ahhh I really liked how Carlan intertwined the secondary characters in this plot and how everything slowly plays out. And the ending.... well I am getting nervous for what is to come in Book 4.
As a long-time fan of Audrey Carlan’s work, I have read most of her available library and enjoyed the majority of the stories within; although I must admit to not really being a fan of serial series. That said, I was totally addicted to the Calendar Girl 12 part serial, and except for one or two instalments, I was thoroughly hooked!
I did have some reservations about this new serial, especially when the lead characters were single men. Naturally enough, I assumed they were probably going to be a bunch of manwhores, totally focused on their own wants and needs. Well I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, they do love women, in all their shapes, colours and ethnicity, and while they each enjoy their freedom to pursue any and all varieties, they also have a unique respect for each and every one they encounter.
Parker, Bo and Royce are exceptionally yummy, but they are portrayed with class and deep-seated values. I was smitten with them all, and can’t wait to read what Ms Carlan has in store for the next round of instalments. Being a true romantic, I’m hoping by the end of the 12 part series, all three will be head over heels in love with one special lady.
This book was a nice compliation by Audrey Carlan. I enjoyed the diverse variety of characters. It kept me wanting to read more and more, and the exotic locations were a real treat. I definitely enjoyed this book and would recommend it to readers who enjoy erotic romance. While I would have enjoyed more backstories on the characters, you do grow to learn about them throughout the book.

International Guy volume 2
NEW YORK
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Mr Parker Ellis, Dream Maker- I’m not sure if this is for the characters in the book, or for The readers. This man is scorchingly hot, and New York was just amazing. I loved this story and devoured it as quickly as I could.
I was a little cautious going in after discovering main character was a film star, sometimes they are just such a pain the proverbial back side but I have to say Skylar Paige, changed my whole opinion. She opened herself up as a woman, not just the star everyone wants a piece of. Money can’t buy you everything and when she looses all will to move in with her acting/ model career it is Parker who opens her eyes to new possibilities. A new life where she has the control.
When Parker is hired to bring back Skylar from the brink of devastation, he is more than a little excited. She has forever been his crush (even in his dirty dreams, if you get my drift), so moving in spending time with her is EveryThing…. What he didn’t expect was for her to turn his world upside down. A job to help a woman questioning her entire life, equals a journey of self discovery, inner worth and scorching chemistry. Parker uses his charm, his appeal and his dream maker status to create 3 weeks of bliss. At the end of this job, he’ll be reeling over his sexy actress. He’s never met or believed in finding his 1, but Skylar leaves a taste he can’t help but want to follow. But the end is the end, and he must walk away…. For now.
International Guy Volume 3
COPENHAGEN
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This story/ series has really come into itself and I’m loving it. Copenhagen is volume 3 in this book and I have to say I loved it as much as New York. A little royal thought for you. Keep u. Mind this is fiction, so what we all know of the danish royals is a little different in this story, if you give it that little leverage, I’m sure you’re going to love it too.
Parker Ellis, whom I assumed was a bad boy CEO who sleeps around has become the good guy, actually the great International Guy. This particular job will be his biggest test, taming Princess Christina Kaarsberg for The danish throne will be his biggest task to date. Walking away from Skylar in New York plays heavily on his life and heart. Funding a royal playing up means he’ll have to dig deep to find what’s got her gone rogue….
While tailing the Princess, he discovers a whole new world and side to the danish royal. She’s not all bad girl, she has a lovely side, one he must get her to see before she loses everything including the man she loves. Prince Sven, desperately wants her by his side, and if she won’t step up he’ll go alone. She is his forever, he is her long time love; Parker will find that elastic to break for the good of both.
This was a decent book. The character of Parker rubbed me the wrong way at times, with his playboy attitude and behaviors. It just made it more difficult to believe he had true feelings for Sophie. I’d like to read some of Carlan’s other work!
