I enjoyed Riley’s previous books very much and was looking forward to this one, it was good, but I didn’t enjoy it as much as I did the three matchmaker books.

I enjoyed both leads, though I preferred Savannah, Olivia was a bit hit and miss in that she seemed to change personality towards the end, going from ‘I have roots and want to settle down’ to ‘I’m commitment phobic’ was annoying. I did enjoy the secondary characters, both Olivia’s sister and Savannah’s brother were fun additions and Reagan was also a great side character, especially since I thought the ‘jealousy’ trope was going to pop up and was relieved when it didn’t.

For the most part this is an enjoyable, somewhat slow burn romance. I say ‘somewhat’ because even though the leads spend a lot of time together and get to know each other there are weird PDA scenes that pop up that I just couldn’t get behind (see spoilers at the bottom of the review for more details)). I liked that the leads did get to know each other, and their chemistry was great but the ending was a bit too filled with miscommunication or lack of communication issues that could have easily been avoided. Riley is a good author though, and this is filled with witty dialogue and interesting characters and is worth a read. 3 stars.

My main gripe with this book was the ridiculousness of the PDA scenes. First they have phone sex when they’ve barely begun flirting and then just keep working together like it didn’t happen, then not once, but twice, they make out (and not just kissing, full on groping) in public places. I actually went back in both scenes to make sure they were still in public. No way would two astute business women be that stupid.

Great story well written with good dialogue and I loved the slow burn it felt realistic in many parts. My only issue was them making out "and more" in public without any problem or drawing any attention specially in restaurants. Highly recommended

I received an ARC copy of this book from the Publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This author is exceptional. I didn’t think she could top her debut novel Miss Match (which I only read a few weeks ago) but this is as good if not better. I loved the storyline and the characters (Savannah & Olivia) had a real connection. From the moment they met the sparks were flying of the page. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I look forward to catching up with her other two books from the Perfect Match Series that I have still to read.

This book is HOT! Whatever else I wanted to say just pales to comparison with this feeling! It’s erotic, filled with great chemistry between Savannah and Olivia, the seduction scenes are very well written and it’s kinda addictive once you pick it up. It was fun and sexy reading it, and what more could a girl want on a warm sunny afternoon...

**'Storytelling trumps beautiful writing every time...'

Endearingly good story!
Smart and funny, insightful and romantic, impulsive and compelling, fascinating and steamy, ROOM SERVICE reveals that the most important journeys we make aren't measured in miles, but in the strength, wisdom and love found along the way. More than this, though, this book/storyline is both an examination & reflection of the stories we/readers tell ourselves, the ones that make our lives make sense even if they're misplaced or misguided or outright wrong sometimes because of certain decisions in life. Savannah who did cautiously rebuild her life and career plus even rebounded with a new romance. But when a fresh crisis strikes and an uncertain future looms, she must decide: How much will she risk to remain the woman she's just become or should she choose 'LOVE' Then there is Olivia who Savannah thinks has it all: perfect hair,a fantastic body and expensive clothes, not to mention a great job,is single, she also has a crush on her and both has to work together. Though each struggle with loneliness & fear, the time they spend together having these make out sessions do give Olivia hope for something brighter just on the horizon--if only they can learn to find healing & peace --and perhaps love--with each other. The emotions fueling the words are nonetheless real, and Ms.Riley do successfully captures the essence of what its like to muddle through any painful break-ups of past lovers. Above all,she has penned a well written,paged-turner full of wanderlust, forbidden romance, with mature & witty dialogue, some great secondary characters and plenty of intrigue. Readers will enjoy this book/story as much as i did. Recommended!
