As a teacher who tutors high school kids with a variety of special needs, I cannot recommend enough that they be empowered to self-advocate for their rights. This book is a helpful guide for teens with dyslexia, but some of its advice can be helpful for teens with specific learning disorders.

With the increased need for education and intervention surrounding dyslexia, this book providers a basic understanding with some strategies. I enjoyed the emphasis and specialization of teens, However, I was hoping for more unique and specific strategies to be implemented within the schools.
