I wasn't familiar with this subject, until I came across this book. Very insightful and we'll written. Although I'm ages late, thank you for the opportunity to educate myself on this matter.

I knew about the thalidomide controversy; who, in the UK, alive and aware in the 80s/90s, could avoid it. This is a book looking at effects of the drug even outside the danger zone of up to 12 weeks, from a sufferer of such. I found this an interesting read, albeit a struggle at times to understand the winding way the author gets to a point. Would recommend to people affected directly or with a family member affected.
