Such a lovely, heartwarming book.
The publisher’s description of ‘An utterly gorgeous feel good romantic comedy’ is spot on….truly gorgeous.
This story has all you want and need in a modern romantic novel, it gets a bit steamy at times too!
The picture-perfect setting, a small English seaside town called Sandcastle Bay.
I imagined I was there, and the beach was fantastic in my head.
Melody and Jamie are really drawn to each other, but are shy with each other. Things have gone wrong with past relationships so they are hesitant to get involved even though the air sparks between them. Melody and me share the clumsiness!
The story isn’t just about Melody and Jamie, but also and her friends and family, his family and some of the villagers. Aunt Agatha was making me chuckle again. Most of the cast were in ‘The Holiday Cottage by the Sea’ which I also adored. This can easily be read as a standalone though.
Loved the jewellery-making aspect and the sculptures. And not forgetting the little magician too.
I thoroughly recommend this book, a perfect light-hearted getaway.
Funny, touching, steamy. It ticks all the boxes for me.
Thanks to Holly Martin for another great book.
Take it with you on your summer holiday, or read it in the garden….escape to Sandcastle Bay in your imagination.
Thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for the review copy in which I give my honest opinion

I always enjoy Hollys book and great to read this one and full of romance and being honest in order to fall in love. It's hear warning and set in such beautiful countryside you think you are there such a perfect summer read. Full of fun and passion as well and well worth reading.
Melody loves her new home in sandcastle bay and her cottage is right on the edge of the sunshine beach. She loves being closer to her family and friend Tori and she loves the lower pace of life. Jamie works opposite Melody's jewellery shop and she has an instant attraction but sadly a past heartache is holding Jamie back. Melodie thinks he's the one for her and they take the chance on romance but one dating disaster after another can they be lovers and be honest with each other to move forward or will they just be friend. Can Melodie be happy living by the sea and find her perfect life or not.
An easy read that I recommend for a summer read.

Another absolutely fantastic read by Holly. Full of sizzling hot romance, the chemistry between the characters was red hot!

Everything about this book was just stunning, I loved the location, what I would give for a walk around it.

Once you start reading this you will fall in love and not be able to put it down.

My favourite book of the year so far!

Readers can pick up with characters from The Holiday Cottage by the Sea, as Melody Rosewood settles into life in Sandcastle Bay. She has her jewelry shop and is close to her good friend Tori, what could be better? Maybe a little flirtation with Jamie Jackson and his adorable puppy? The sculptor has a shop near Melody’s and the two seem to be a perfect match. The only problem is that Jamie can’t quite put his past behind him and won’t commit to anything. This is another light-hearted charming read from Martin and readers will not have to have read the first book in the series, although they might find they want to

This book has some of the best scenes I have ever read in a book - such hilarity and the descriptions used were so clear that I could see them unfolding in front of my very eyes. Keep your eyes peeled for that scene in a cave, that scene in a supermarket aisle, that scene in puppy training class to name just 3 moments of absolute fabulousness.

But really the whole book is packed full of gems, not just hilarious ones, but actual gemstones as Melody is a jewellery maker, so often has a variety of gems about!

This is Melody and Jamie's story, who we first met in The Holiday Cottage by the Sea and I am so pleased we were able to meet them up close and personal. You don't need to have read book 1 to be able to read this but like all of Holly Martin's book it would be a shame to miss out.

We get to catch up with Aidan and Tori, while still hoping that Leo and Isla get together which I have to presume will be the next book and one I'm already looking forward too...

..now where was I, ah yes, singing the praises of The Cottage on Sunshine Beach which is another masterclass from Holly Martin in romantic comedy. There is romance, there is sizzling chemistry, there are two main characters with creative jobs that a re a bit different, there is fun, laughter, hidden depths to both characters, character development - and just generally a fabulous story line that will suck you in, and transport you to Sunshine Beach.

I absolutely loved this book, the writing is fabulous, and I can't fault it other than I ran out of pages. This is another top class book from one of my favourite authors.

Thank you to Netgalley and Bookouture for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.
