I didn't manage to get away on holiday this year, but with this fab Love Islands Collection it (almost) didn't matter. A fab read and a taste of summer - wherever or whenever you read it. I was especially delighted to see a story by one of my absolute favourites, Scarlet Wilson, included.

Many thanks to Mills & Boon Insiders and to NetGalley for the opportunity to read this collection in exchange for an honest review.

This collection is the perfect beach holiday read, although I read them at home as perfect escapism. I really enjoyed the romance and the allure of tall, dark and handsome men.

I am really happy I got a copy of these books that I am sure I will read again! Loved them!

This collection is definitely one for your your beach bag on holiday or if you can only sun yourself in the back garden then whilst you are reading this you will think you were there.
Each story different in its on way but each is a sizzling hot read.

Perfect to get you in the holiday mood. Island romance from sweet to sensual with sexy heroes and strong heroines and colourful, vibrant settings.

Brought to carry his Heir - Jane Porter

A surrogate and a billionaire alone on a Greek Island. Angst and heartache give way to passion and understanding in this fast-paced sensual romance. Both protagonists ride the emotional rollercoaster to find happiness.

The Doctor She Left Behind - Scarlet Wilson

Second chance romance. Neither wants to be in the same place, but an unexpected matchmaker and circumstances make it necessary. Nathan and Rachel, learn to forgive and move on to a future together.

A Miracle for the Baby Doctor - Meredith Webber

A lovely romance with a medical theme. Easy reading, plenty of angst, poignancy and romance. An entertaining read, even if you're not a medical romance fan.

His Accidental Heir - Joanne Rock

Luxury location, Sexy billionaire and a successful, family orientated heroine, who sees the good in everyone and puts her family above herself. A passionate romance but a strictly business marriage makes this a lovely read with lots of conflict and angst for Maresa, a timely wake-up call for Cameron and thankfully a happy ever after for the reader.

Claiming His Wedding Night - Louise Fuller

While this is certainly a passionate story, it lacks romance, Addie and Malachi's sexual attraction brought them together and even after five years it remains, simmering under the surface. His 'Indecent Proposal' offer to continue the funding for her charity if she gives him his honeymoon, is outdated. The couple's true feelings eventually surface, and the ending is happy, but both characters are hard to empathise.

Still So Hot -Serena Bell

Think 'I'm a Celebrity' and 'Love Island' gone wrong and you'll be in the zone for this sexy romance. Friends becoming lovers is the trope, and it makes easy beach reading.

Beach reading for Contemporary, Medical and Sexy Romance fans.

I received a copy of this book from Mills&Boon via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

A collection of 6 books loosely tied together with the ‘exotic island’ theme. The blend of different authors each with their own writing style gives variety and maintains interest. Personally, I found a couple of the stories too slow and laborious but that is the good thing about a compendium for, instead of struggling, I just moved on to the next book. An ideal book to slip in your suitcase for a summer break.

The Love Islands Collection is published by Mills and Boon and contains 6 seductive island romances. All have been published before as single books but M&B Collections are a great and cost effective way to be introduced to new authors that you otherwise would scroll past!

Bought to Carry His Heir by Jane Porter - Georgia Nielsen is paid to be a surrogate for billionaire Nokia Panos. Trapped on his island, will love flourish? I enjoyed rereading this book, I read it when it was first released as part of the Modern imprint. The characters are both strong willed and there is a humourous interplay between them.

The Doctor she Left Behind by Scarlet Wilson - burnt out after sever years working for Doctors Without Borders, Nathan Banks goes to work at Whitsundays. His new colleague is his ex, Rachel Johnson. They are forced to face their past before they can maybe build a future together. This book is well written. I either love or hate Medical romances but this one was enjoyable.

A Miracle for the Baby Doctor by Meredith Weber - Fran Hawthorne, an embryologist is offered the chance to go and work on a Pacific island for a month. She grabs the chance as it offers her an escape from the humiliation of having her ex husband cheat on her. On the island she meets Dr Steve Ramsome. After years trying to conceive a baby with her ex, Fran and Steve manage to during one night of passion! Will they make a family or remain a temporary fling? Again I enjoyed this book, it is well written and the characters with their past angsts, hope and fears appear realistic to the reader.

His Accidental Heir by Joanne Rock - part of the Desire range, Cameron ONeil goes under cover at his top class property to root out problems first hand. He meets his employee, Maresa Delphine who is his concierge. She is struggling to combine her job and care for her baby niece. Cameron sees her and her niece as the solution to the stipulations on his grandfather's will. She is overwhelmed when he reveals his true identity and proposes, but will she accept? I enjoyed this book, Maresa doesn't come across as the traditional heroine in need of saving by the the big strong hero, she is plodding determinedly through life, taking everything that is thrown at her.

Claiming his Wedding Night by Joanne Fuller - Addie Farrell and Malachi Kings' marriage lasted exactly one day then she realised her marriage was just a sham, that he didn't really love her. Now she is in need of his help to secure funding for her children's music charity. Malachi sees her financial problems as a way of exacting revenge for the humiliating way she dumped him. He will give her the money if she will give him the wedding Night he missed out on. I should have enjoyed this. For the most part I normally enjoy the Moden collection novels. This time I found Addie to be a bit of a wimp, allowing herself to be manipulated into bed for financial gain, even if it is for charity.

Still So Hot by Serena Ball - dating coach Elisa Henderson flies in to St Barts with her brand new client. He deserts her and she bumps into her ex best friend, Brett Jordan. Elisa tries to ignore the obvious mutual attraction they have for one another as a red hot affair would ruin her reputation as a dating coach. Will they give in to this or will her reputation be more important to her? Part of the Blaze collection which I find tries and sometimes fails to fit in between the M&B Modern collection and the Black Lace genre. This book was okay but I just do not enjoy the Blaze range.

This is a great collection of seductive summer reading. It is a great introduction to the different styles (Modern, Medical, Desire and Blaze) that M&B have to offer potential readers. I didn't love all the books, but the fact that I had downloaded them onto my kindle persuaded me to read ranges (Blaze and Medical) that I would normally dismiss out of hand when choosing my summer or any selection.

I received this book via Netgalley and Mills and Boon in exchange for an honest review. I am a #MillsAndBoonInsider #netgalley #theloveislandcollection

All of these stories take place at least in part in exotic locations on stunning islands. Each author describes the scenery so well that it is very easy to picture yourself on the beaches etc fully partaking of the beauty of each place. All the stories make for wonderful summer reads. Or you could read them in winter and be swept away in your mind to lovely warm climates!

Bought to Carry His Heir by Jane Porter.
What I really enjoyed about this story is that although at times both Georgia and Nikos the main characters come across as cold and unfeeling, the author makes you understand for the most part why they are like that. She shows you another side to them as they start to get to know each other, and at least in my case, by the time the story came to its conclusion I was a fan of both of them.

The Doctor She Left Behind by Scarlet Wilson
I enjoyed this story especially the setting, it was fun reading about behind the scenes of a reality TV show and about the spoiled celebs. But of course, the best part about it was the romance growing between Rachel and Nathan, and finding out if they could have their happy ever after albeit 8 years later than their first opportunity.

A Miracle for the Baby Doctor by Meredith Webber
From the beginning of this book I was hooked, I loved every minute of it. From the gorgeous place that it occurs in, the emotional baggage that both Fran and Steve are carrying around and wondering how they could help each other overcome it, to reading all about the couples involved in the IVF treatment, and all that that treatment entails. It is a fascinating book set in paradise which I thoroughly enjoyed.

His Accidental Heir by Joanne Rock
This was such a feel-good story, it had its sad moments, but I was really moved by the relationship developing between Cameron and Maresa and was particularly pleased that there could be some happiness for her after all the struggling she has been through. This was a nice quick read with a great happy ever after ending.

Claiming His Wedding Night by Louise Fuller
What I loved so much about this story apart of course from the romance between our couple, not to mention the passionate intimacy between them, is seeing how the other half live. Talk about opulent surroundings and being able to afford anything you want whenever you want it. Money might not bring happiness but it sure can help make things easier.

Still So Hot! by Serena Bell
The first half of this story was OK, interesting enough to want to keep reading, but after that Celine is pretty much secondary to the story and it really takes off. We see the relationship between Brett and Elisa start to develop. When they give in to their lust, the passion is off the scales. What is so great though is that it's not just really fabulously written bedroom/shower/beach lovemaking scenes, its the wonderful build-up of their true feelings for each other. The will they won't realise it's love, not just lust that is guiding them kept me captivated. Of course, the fact that the story is set on a gorgeous island with the beautiful scenery also described very well by the author is a huge plus. What you get is a really lovely feel-good summer read.

I must admit I am partial to an M&B collection and whilst I grabbed this based on the fact there a couple of authors I’m already familiar with, it’s always nice to find some more to add the ever growing list. Definitely the ideal read to grab for your holiday, and with doctors, billionaires, sassy ladies, sexy romance and happy ever afters, there’s something for everyone.
