I have to admit that this is my favorite in the series so far, because I love ancient Greece. In the second book of the, Curious Science Quest series, Milton and Harriet find themselves in ancient Greece learning about Greek philosophers, advancements in mathematics and medicine, architecture, transportation, and the rise of the Roman empire and the birth of modern religion. I think the illustrations in the 2nd book were much better than the 1st and the plot is thickening as they travel through time to discover whether religion and science are really that different. I would recommend beginning the series with this book, rather than the first.
Thank you NetGalley and Lion Children's for the opportunity to read an advance reader copy.
