This is certainly a very interesting book, and I haven't really read anything trully comparable to "Sir Futtock's" nice little treatise on the "benefits" of Brexit. Futtock's take on Brexit alternates between entertaining and depressing as he describes the various consequences and the outlandish solutions he has for theses issues (such as suplementing British industry by building factories on oil rigs to avoid that pesky regulation).

The book could have done better with a bit more subtlety or a bit more outlandish tone. Also, some of the references that Futtock makes are obscure to a non-British reader. This wouldn't be much of a problem if multiple references are tossed out in quick succession.

Overall, I did generally enjoy this short look at Brexit from a satirical take, but unfortunately found it a bit lacking.

I received an advance reader copy of this book from netgalley
