This is one of those light reads sometimes you just need. A trip with your besties, an unexpected win, and a handsome man you would not have imagined hitting on you because, seriously, what are the chances? But when that happens, it most certainly brings your getaway to a totally different level.

When you prioritise your work and relationship is not a word you think of too often, like in Bonni’s case, you don’t easily let your guard down. Then your fun night out with your chatty friends makes you think that, really, what hurt can possibly come from loosen up a bit for once? It’s going to be nothing more than one night stand, right? . . . RIGHT? Meet Quinn and then tell me if you wouldn’t want a second night. Day. Date. Life with?

Up for a fast read with an interesting setting like the world of a professional poker player? You’re up for a nice treat with this rom-com then, it will put a smile on your face and make you dream of a stroke of luck. After all, it’s Vegas, baby!

Now, this is obviously the scene setter for the rest of the series, so there is a lot of markers to be laid with this one.  But, it just felt a bit manic - perhaps a little forced - to me.

I find that instalove can be tricky to accept as a reader, unless it's done well.  Here, whilst I liked Bonni and Quinn individually, and I understood what the author was going for, I just didn't find the apparent depth of their attraction (even with my romance spectacles on) to be believable.

Now, that's not to say that I didn't enjoy the story overall, because I kind of did.  But it didn't wow me I'm afraid.

That said, I look forward to seeing what's in store for the other ladies of the group.

enjoyable and entertaining fast paced read.

Great set of characters - this book was all about Bonni. She is on a girls weekend in Vegas with 3 of her friends from college. On a night out she meets Quinn. She is a cop and he is a professional gambler, but sparks fly when they get together. Will what happend in Vegas stay in Vegas or can they make a go of things beynd the weekend.

Really looking forward ot reading the rest of this series.

A wonderful and enjoyable read by a talented author has you hooked from start and keeps your attention till end I would totally recommend reading it and hope you enjoy it like I did

I enjoyed What Happens In Vegas. It focuses on the friendship/reunion of four female characters who as the title suggests go off for a break to Las Vegas. Some great references to the Vegas strip and hotels and of course the gambling. A great easy to read book.
