3/5. Read this back in 2018 and did not review it back then. I don't remember enough about it to give it proper feedback.
I felt this book was way too complicated for a beginner's book. Many of the ingredients were not common and/or were expensive ingredients. Many of the ingredients had to be made before you could make the actual recipe, so it didn't feel user friendly. Keto is an entirely different way of thinking and cooking, so I could have used a little more explanation and easier recipes. Pictures were very nice, though.
If someone has a lot of time to cook and putter in the kitchen, they might really enjoy this book. I, however, don't have much time, so the recipes felt too complicated for me.

I was never able to open this file, and therefore cannot rate it accurately. I am giving it three stars for this reason.
Thank you to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group – Fair Winds Press for The Beginner’s KetoDiet Cookbook by Martina Slajerova. The book starts with an introduction as to why the author starting eating a KetoDiet, some facts and charts about the Keto (including information on fiber and protein), and a discussion of basic staples. And then come the recipes broken down by category, including Nourishing Soups and Refreshing Salads, Quick and Easy Lunchbox Dishes and Energy-Boosting, and Fat-Fueled Dinners.
The introduction section provides a lot of information and backs up the information with study names that you can research. There are also a lot of tables to help you figure out different nutrient values. Also, fun facts like one Brazil nut has more than 100% of the RDA of selenium.
Some of my favorite recipes are: Flavored Butters, Green Skillet Eggs, Jalapeno & Cheese Muffins, Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers Two Ways, Chicken Meatball Pho, Vegetable Rose Pie, Masala Cauli-Rice with Grilled Halloumi, Butter Chicken, Chicken Piccata, and Mexican Chocolate Fudgesicles.
The recipes often contain harder to find ingredients, but not too hard to find. And there are lots of pictures which always improves a cookbook for me. I am not entirely sold on the idea of a Keto diet, but I found several really good recipes in this book that I will continue to make. And I feel this book provides a lot of information on the Keto diet to help you get more informed.
The recipes were simple yet complex. It should be a good book for those wanting to begin the Keto diet.
This book was great for the keto begonner and seasoned keto eating person as well. The recipes were varied and sound delicious. There is lots of great advice toget you started on your Keto journey.
There is a lot of good information in the front of the book. The pictures are very nice but to be honest I was expecting recipes that were more like everyday food. These are more gourmet quality.. which is fine if that's what you're looking for. I was just looking for simple recipes , but it's a nice book.
Perfect for anyone looking to get into the keto diet. The book has a lot of useful information on the diet as well as easy to follow recipes. Recommended for public libraries that have a cookbook selection, especially those that focus on getting diet trend books.

To maintain keto lifestyle, you need a wide variety of recipes which is available in thei Beginner's KetoDiet cookbook.
The Beginner's KetoDiet Cookbook is an informational cookbook that thoroughly explains the science behind the Keto diet and with that offers easy to follow recipes, with easy to understand instructions, and fairly easy to obtain ingredients. I enjoyed the informative parts early on in the book and loved the easy to understand charts. I would describe this book as being one of the most user-friendly cookbooks out there for those interested in trying the Keto diet. I tried several of the recipes with my favorite chapter being soups and salads. I also loved the garlic and herb focaccia and brie egg muffins. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is planning to try the Keto diet. In The Beginner's KetoDiet Cookbook you will find food swaps, substitutes, carb counters, instructional information, a Keto staple grocery list, tips for success, recipes and so much more.

Wonderful, basic guidebook on the KetoDiet. I loved being able to locate basic and easy recipes, as well as understand the background and foundation. I have shared many recipes with friends and plan on utilizing this regardless of remaining on the diet.
As someone new to trying keto eating, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of foods in this cookbook!
Another great Keto book by Martina that makes you feel like the Keto diet is too good to be true. I look forward to more by her.
I received an ARC from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
This cookbook was very informative and had some great recipes. It really simplified and broke down what Keto is, how to do it properly, what to expect, and it had tips and tricks. It has some really easy recipes (I haven’t tried them yet but I have some picked out that I can’t wait to try!) and some gorgeous pictures of the food.
Great book and I can’t wait to make these yummy recipes

The basic rules of KetoDiet are explained including a useful carbs & protein table for the most common raw food. A creative and colorful collection of recipes based on the Ketodiet.
I have been very interested about learning about different diets and how they affect our bodies. This was a great book for someone who is not so familiar with the keto diet because the author sheds light to her own life and experiences as well as describes the diet. There is some great recipes for people who wish to incorporate low calorie meals into their diets.
I do not think it is a good book to read on Kindle, I would definitely read a printed version of this book.
