I liked this book, second in the series, more than the first one. It seemed to have a better rhythm and having just had a holiday in St Andrews, was a nice surprise to be based around the golf.

This was a lovely return to West Sands Guesthouse. A new romance between Molly and Tom who are both harbouring a troubled past. St Andrews sounds wonderful and maybe one day I'll get to visit with my husband who is a keen golfer.
I enjoyed the story having a golf theme alongside the romance. I also loved the strong family ties throughout the book.
I am really keen to read more set around West Sands Guesthouse and hope we make a return soon.

Was slightly disappointed in this book. I had high expectations for it. The cover and description made it sound like a fantastic read. Sadly it really wasn't. It just didn't have that wow factor to it. Found it rather dull.

When Molly's marriage breaks down she is grateful to accept an invitation from her brother to join his family at West Sands in St Andrews in Scotland. The coast is lovely and she soon relaxes more and enjoys helping looking after her niece and nephew and taking golf lessons...........especially as the lessons are given by Tom..... is it too soon for her to start thinking about another man!

A lovely feel good book, predictable but set at a nice gentle pace and in a lovely setting, that you didn't want to end

This is the first book I have read by this author and I really enjoyed it. An easy quick read with an interesting plot. A story of new beginnings, family, self-discovery and a gentle romance. Heartwarming with characters which I could relate to and a lovely location. I I would like to visit the east coast of Scotland. I really enjoyed the golf in the story - it is written with enthusiasm.

A perfect summer holiday read. This is the first book I have read by this author and I definitely will read another book by Maggie.

I enjoyed this book, its quite light and gentle and all the better for that. It doesnt shy away from tackling human emotion, all human emotion but it’s not heavy duty in its approach
Set in St Andrews during the summer we follow our heroine as she recovers from the break down of her marriage ably assisted by her academic brother, her sister in law, her niece and nephew and the local Golf Pro. And he has his own story to tell!

I loved this book so much so i bought the follow up on Amazon even though that can be aso read as a standalone novel. The book is set in StAndrews and makes a good holiday read.

I really enjoyed the first book and was eager to read this when I saw it on NetGalley but I'm afraid it didn't have the same pull as the first book for me.

Molly Adams is getting divorced after her husband left her for another woman. She is left in the soulless new house in Glasgow they bought together, hates her job and feels a total failure. Her brother is moving to St Andrews for work with his family and while they look for a house they have rented the whole of West Sands Guest House, they invite Molly to stay for a few weeks.

Molly soon fits in with the quaint Scottish town, the beautiful golf links where she rekindles her love for the game, the cosy shops and the lovable characters, including the rather taciturn golf professional Tom Kennedy who always seems to see her at her worst.

This was a sweet and gentle romance - maybe too sweet and gentle for my tastes, I didn't really feel any tension and Molly and Tom didn't have enough personality to stand out as characters. Overall, if I hadn't read the first book I would probably have enjoyed this more.

This was a very quick read, it was somewhat cliche but that didn't stop it from being very enjoyable. The story was good and I have to admit I do love a good romance set in Scotland having family from there myself. I don't find golf particularly enjoyable but the way it was written about in this book was fun and I actually found it to be very interesting. I will definitely read more by this author.

This book was a pleasant read but was so predictable and like so many of its type. Would have liked more surprises in it. It’s also a very short read. I read it in less than a day.

I loved this book, set in an area fairly local to me which meant I could closely envisage the scenery as well as enjoy the story. A story of family, friends and a gentle romance. An excellent light read

Enjoyed the golf aspect, that is something I don't know much about and the author writes easily about the game of golf. Molly's love of the game is infectious.

The relationship between Molly and Tom was a good plot.

Second book in this series, although I don't think it matters if you haven't read the first one.

Molly is staying at the guesthouse with her brother and his family. She is newly divorced and in the process of selling her house, so needs to escape for a while.

While she is there, she meets Tom, who has recently moved there to run a golf school. Their paths keep crossing, but they both are holding back.

This is the first book I have read by this author and now want to read more it was quite a quick read but packed with adventure, romance and moving forward in a beautiful place with wonderful countryside. Great characters and the story is so realistic you want to keep reading to see what happens. Simply brilliant read couldn't put it down and so heartwarming loved it and didn't want it to end.
Milly has just split from her husband as he's had an affair she also finished her job so feels she needs to get away she speaks with her brother who is moving to the west coast of Scotland and to start with he and his wife will live in a guest house so he invites Molly to have a break and join them and the children so she goes. Once she's there she goes out on plenty of walks and comes across a golf course and starts playing again and she has a reason to go as she likes Tom who is a pro golfer and has a past as well. Can the two of them move forward and forget the past and build a life together or are both of them not ready for it yet and will Molly end up going back home or staying. She also makes new friends and enjoys the life she is now getting away from her ex husband.
A brilliant read really didn't want it to end. Worth far more than the five stars I have it so heartwarming.
