This was an eye-opening read. Even as someone who reads and watches the local and national news, it is amazing how much information I just didn't know. This book was really informational and I loved how it was written. If you want to know more about the situation that the world is facing, I would recommend you pick up this book. Why would be a good question when wondering why to read ANOTHER Middle East book or book on the subject. In the Chaos, you will gain insight and understanding into the reasons behind the over a decade long war that has cost so much in lives and money.

You will not only enjoy the writing style but the reasons for this national nightmare that contrary to popular belief didn't blow up or begin on 9-11 and as you read the author's assessment of the neighboring countries you will realize this is far, FAR from ending. You C-vets that served there will agree with much found in here.

Very informative and illuminating. I enjoyed learning about the events that led us to the situation we find ourselves in today.
