An extravaganza for all lovers of romance, with fine film, book, and TV reviews, plus great related articles!
Thanks to Overlord Publishing and NetGalley for the ARC. Opinions are fully mine. #RomanticIntentionsQuarterly-Issue2,July2018 #NetGalley
Such a fun digital magazine about romance reading. If you're a romance fan, download this one!
Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for my ARC. All opinions are my own.
This magazine is an excellent resource for those who enjoy romance in all its media forms. I was pleasantly surprised by how much was included in this journal. There are book, tv and movie reviews and also a number of articles. For example, one article was about motherhood in romance and why it seems that women who choose not to have children are seldom featured in the genre. Another article was about southern romantic fiction. There was also an article about who would have been the better husband for Jo March in Little Women, Laurie or Bhaer This journal is a concise and good place to go for a sense of what is coming out soon and what has been out and seems worthwhile.
Enjoyable read for lovers of chick lit and romantic fiction. I was pleased with the variety of book and film reviews as well as the articles on “classics”
Very enjoyable easy read, will look out for next edition!
This was such a great magazine (but bad for my wallet and heaving shelves). I added so many books to my wishlist. I particularly appreciated the diverse range of genres and titles reviewed, including LGBT romances. A really great new magazine.
This is the first time I've read one of these digital magazines and I was surprised by how much I actually enjoyed it!
There were lots of reviews of books in various sub-genres, including older books and new/upcoming ones too, interviews with authors, and recommendations of romantic movies and TV series, again some older ones, some new ones. I made a note of a few books I wanted to read, along with a few movies and TV series that weren't on my radar, or I hadn't heard of, but would like to see.
Really interesting and something I would definitely read again.
