So, the story of the IG Crew (Parker, Bo, and Royce) continues with the guys continuing on their business to Milan, San Francisco, and Montreal. We get to see more of the IG Crew's PA, Wendy, and she is proving herself to be the right choice and an asset to the guys with her hacking skills. In the interim of the IG Crew's travels, Skylar Paige is being blackmailed by an ex-boyfriend and they help her with that.
In Milan, Parker and Bo are hired to help a fashion designer turn ordinary women into models for his lingerie line. They have to boost these women's self-esteem and help create a successful fashion show... which they do.
In San Francisco, Parker and Royce meet Rochelle Renner who is looking for a mate a.k.a a Trophy Husband, but Royce falls in lust with her. Even though Parker comes at Royce for having a connection with Rochelle (which is a wee bit hypocritical, don'tcha think, Parker?) the guys hash everything out and find Rochelle the perfect match.
In Montreal, the IG Crew have to snuff out a mole in software entrepreneurs, Alexis and Kidd, company. Someone within the company is handing off secrets to competitors and we see more of Wendy's wicked hacking skills.
I love the IG Crew! I love how Audrey Carlan is writing their story making it about their business and how they help their clients... not just focused on a love story. This series has a little bit of everything and it keeps it coming with every installment... I can't wait to read what happens next.

This one started off great for me, was feeling very fun and flirty but I really struggled to get into the story and connect with the characters. I liked the characters but didn't really a connection that had me wanting to read further and sadly I did not finish it

Parker, Royce, and Bogard are at it again. In Milan they are helping normal everyday women with walking down a runway. In San Francisco they are helping a woman find love. And finally in Montreal they are helping a tech company, whose secrets are being stolen. The lives this team works is exhausting to read. To be able to help so many people and find time for there personal lives are amazing. I love the way Audrey Carlan describes these characters and the aspects of there jet setting lives. I can’t wait for the next book.

OMG! I can not believe the rollercoaster ride that Audrey Carlin sent me on as I read International Guy- Volume Two. The strength of the relationship that Parker and Skyler have developed is one that seems to be able to stand the test of time. In Milan, Parker is tempted by beautiful a woman but his developing love for Skyler keeps his mind and body focused. As Parker and the team travel to San Francisco, Skyler is left at home to deal with a conniving ex-boyfriend. When all seems to fall apart around her, Parker finds a way to help the woman he realizes is the love of his life and soul mate, will he be too late or save Skyler in time? We find out the answers to those questions as IG travels to Montreal. Will Skyler and Parker make the relationship work or will it fall apart around them?

I cannot get enough of Parker and his team at IG. This one had me turning pages until the very end and now, I cannot wait to get my hands on London.

Not only does this book have playfulness but it has an element of seriousness with love and family. The bond that the 4 characters at IG have is beautify.

I love the suspense that Carlan added to Montreal because now I cannot wait to find out what happens next.

What I also absolutely love about this book is that it allows me to travel to different places in each book. I do wish that it had a little more about the location that they are in. Since I have only been to a few of the places, a little more descriptions would be awesome to set the scene, not just descriptions of the office or the building that they are in.

As always Ms. Carlan have developed characters that you are attached to. I am hoping in the next few books you get a little more of Bo and Royce. I am hoping that they find a chance at love and Parker straightens out his relationship with Skyler. I love the two of them together.

Here is to another adventure!

3 more great stories in the International Guy World. The more we learn about these 3 men and all their supporting casts, the more I am beginning to love them. There are insecurities that definitely need to be faced in order to move on as well as learning to believe in love. While I love the boys...Wendy is fast becoming one of my favorite characters in these books and Michael is such an enigma that I want to learn more about him. As we saw in the first volume, each case they work on has it's own intricacies and dangers--physical, mental AND emotional dangers. Navigating these waters brings it's own serious moments and laughs. I'm looking forward to more of Parker's and Sophie's journey as well as the rest of the boys!

I’m just going to talk about books 4 through 6 as a unit. They are short and quick reads. Audrey Carlan really packs a punch with this trio of international guys! I was captived with this group. I finished this set super quick. There were many more twists and turns being unable to see what’s beyond that next bend. The heat and passion was way intense! The plot was super unique and so different. You won’t be able to stop this set!

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.

I am falling more in love with this series volume by volume! Parker and the International Guys go to three more new cities – Milan, San Francisco and Montreal. In each city, the International Guys help out a new client with a problem in either business or personal life. Parker “The Dream Guy” and his A-list celebrity girlfriend Skylar hit some road bumps in this volume and there is a tragedy that I didn’t see coming. These boys know how to pull at my heart-strings. I think my heart stopped a few times.

I will say it again if you loved Audrey’s Calendar Girls series you need to read this series!

Such a fun read. So sexy and hot. Cant wait till the next installment. Will recommend this to friends.

The second volume in the International Guy Series was even better than the first! Especially now that we are already invested in the characters their adventures and heartbreaks seem more personal and intense. I adore the way Carlan builds tension and develops relationships between her characters. Even if I can't jet-set around the world or be a gorgeous movie star I still feel like these books resonate in a way that will echo forever.

OH JUST READ IT, you will thank me.

Montreal.. I am not sure if I am happy or not... YOU LEFT ME WITH A CLIFFY!!! Which only means we get more, so that makes me happy.
IG is hired to do some serious investigating and Lexie, has eyes for Parker . The Parker~ Lexie~ Skyler, situation gave me little heart attacks on every page, will they? won't they? ... SO MUCH!

International Guy Vol. 2 is the second installment of Audrey Carlans "International Guy"-series and it starts immediately where Vol. 1 finished.
We meet the "Dream Maker" Parker Ellis arriving from his trip to Kopenhagen back in Boston, where he is quite clueless why his girlfriend Skylar Paige is not responding to his messages. After a quick time they rekindle their relationship and Parker can concentrate on his next assignment in Milan.
The part which took place in Milan could also have taken place in any other city, which is big in fashion, as the reader didn't really get to see the city itself. Which is slightly a pity as in the previous book the reader was able to get to know the city at least a little bit.
The message which this part of the book conveys is pretty important, that woman should love themself as they are without aiming to look like supermodels with a size 0. Everybody is perfect in their own way.
I liked this message very much.
From Milan we switch location to San Fransisco, where again not much from the city was shown. Storywise Parker has again a different kind of assignment, where he needs help from his work partner Royce. Even though
they are tight as family there is still friction between them, which is also interesting to see. As it shows normal family/friends relationships.
Well and at the end of this part a hugh bomb was dropped and the problem more or less stretched through the whole part in Montreal.
There Parker somehow got on my nerves with his hyporitical behaviour. Where Sky was quite understanding after Copenhagen, while he was talking with Sophie, he didn't give her any chance to explain herself and his stubbornness prevented him to take his phone and call her. His coniction, that she is the bad guy was sometimes really aggrevating.
And than the emergency in the end, where the reader still hopes, that everything will work out and goes well.

Well we will see in the next installment.

In general I liked the book and it was pretty good read. The story was easy to read, just that sometimes the behaviour from Parker was too much and I would have liked to smack some sense into him.
Nevertheless I am quite excited for the next one.

Parker, Bo and Royce are back and changing lives as always in this second box set of the International Guy series. I couldn't put this one down. I loved it these 3 books as much as I loved the first 2. Parker is put in some sticky situations in this one and you are in for a ride when things get a little crazy when the guys go to Milan, San Francisco and Montreal. Parker and Skylar are sill trying to navigate their relationship. And you will love the changes in Parker as his feelings for Skylar grow and grow even with trust issues still front and center. This is a fantastic series and I really hope Bo and Royce will find love along with Parker as the series continues. I can't wait to see what happens with Skylar and Parker too. I love that we still get a little of Sophie too. You will love every bit of this adventure through Milan, San Francisco and Montreal. International Guy is one hot series that I can't put down.

The International Series continues with Parker’s business and his ‘brotherly’ partners traveling to Milan, San Fransico, and Montreal to help their clients with their needs. Each destination continues to be quite interesting to where Audrey Carlan continues this journey. Skylar is there and it alleviates my heartache as I hope these two find their happily ever destiny in this series!

One thing about the book is I feel with being from a male POV it seems a bit cheesy at times. And the guys a bit unprofessional with their possibly million dollar International Business venture… Even with that said I am STILL hopelessly devoted and addicted to this series and am DYING for Volume 3 to make its debut and get my hands on it!

With book four in the International Guy series Parker & Bo find themselves in Milan, the home of fashion where their latest job finds them having to turn 12 average housewives into glamorous lingerie models, ready to strut their stuff on a runway at a fashion show and less than a week to do it. As well as having all this on his plate, Parker is having to come to terms with the realisation that he’s falling in love with Skylar Paige, his movie star girlfriend, but with his every interaction with the opposite sex, however innocent, being scrutinised & reported on by the paparazzi, is there enough trust between them for their burgeoning relationship to survive.

I loved the underlying message in this book with the use of “normal” sized women as models. That they are just as, if not more beautiful than any supermodel. Anna Maria’s husband said it all when he told his wife that “she was the sexiest woman alive and even more so after having his babies. He loved how her body has changed, because it showed how their lives had grown and changed together. She was a mother now. It was a new role, a new body. And when she was an old woman, a grandmother she’d have a grandmother’s body, and he’d love her even more then because she would’ve given him a legacy.” Now that’s the kind of husband every woman should have.

When the International Guy team hit San Francisco Royce takes centre stage to a certain extent when he develops a crush on their latest client and decides that he might be just what she’s looking for. Rochelle is a high flying business woman who is looking for a love match and, after finding out the world is full of frogs rather than princes, has turned to International Guy to help her find her Mr Perfect, little realising that he might have been under her nose all along. With Royce acting completely out of character and mooning over a client, a case of embezzlement, his own burgeoning relationship with Skylar and throw in a blackmailing ex, Parker definitely has his hands full, not just with making sure they leave another satisfied client behind them, but that Royce, his ‘brother from another mother’ doesn’t get hurt or do something stupid that could have implications not only on their friendship but on their business as well.

Montreal has got to be my favourite book in the series so far. After the shocking events in the previous instalment, Parker is off his game and, wanting to show their ‘brother’ some support, the entire team including Wendy is off to Montreal where their latest client, Alexis, is dealing with a case of industrial espionage at her tech company. This book really has it all including a femme fatale for a client who knows exactly what she wants and has her sites set firmly on Parker. She’s just Parker’s type as well, blonde, leggy with a penchance for stilettos so will he be able to hold out against Alexis’ wiles or will he give in to temptation and destroy any chance of “SkyPark” having any chance of a future. With Wendy in her first stint as an undercover operative we learn more of her background and how she met Sir Mick, her knight in shining armour. I have to say I love Wendy. She’s my favourite character and steals any scene she’s in. It was also good seeing the entire team back together in action.

Talk about a cliffhanger of an ending. This series really does keep getting better with each new instalment and I can’t for the release of London to see who’s left standing in the aftermath of Montreal. I really hope Audrey Carlan gives Wendy and Sir Mick their own book though especially after the peeks we’ve had of Wendy’s background. They are a fantastic pairing who deserve to have their story told.

Milan

Parker and Bo go to Milan to help women strut their stuff on the runway. They've been hired to help boost the women's confidence and deal with a semi difficult designer. I loved the fact that the women they were dealing with were every day women. The guys needed to approach things a bit differently and thankfully they know to think out of the box, which I enjoyed immensely.

Parker and Skye are still going strong and OMG I just love their relationship so much. Doing the long distance thing isn't easy, but they are making it work they best they can.

San Francisco

Oh Royce. I know you want to settle down, but getting involved with a client is not your style. You're not Parker. (What? It's true!) But that doesn't mean you won't try. *sigh*

This particular client is looking for love and has enlisted International Guy to help her find the perfect man. Parker and Royce go to San Francisco to help her find that man and while Royce thinks that he is the man for her, Parker knows that it is the last person the client thinks it is.

This story was interesting because it gave us lots of Parker and Royce time. Unfortunately, not all of it was them getting along and that was so interesting to me. Parker might be arrogant and think he knows everything, but sometimes he just SO RIGHT. Damn him!

Montreal

At the beginning of this story we have an extremely heartbroken Parker and he is looking to take his mind off things, so he takes a job helping a business woman find whoever is leaking information to her competitors. The client is a no holds barred software designer who, once she meets Parker, wants more than to find out who is betraying her.

We not only get all three guys again (yay!), but even Wendy is getting in on the fun this time. I loved this story because it really highlights just how much of a family everyone is. They're not only there to support Parker, but to also tell him when he needs to get his head out of his ass.

But let me tell you, this one ends on a cliffhanger and OMG THINGS BETTER WORK OUT FOR THE BEST OR ELSE I WILL BE VERY UPSET.

With International Guy Vol 2, we follow Parker, Royce and Bo from a fashion show gig in Milan to a cyber investigation in Montreal, with an matchmaking interlude in San Francisco. Yes, there is a lot going in in this volume as the lines between work life and personal life continue to blur.

Of this grouping, the story line for Milan is definitely my favorite. The principles of IG are exercised as Parker helps a fashion designer with the models for his lingerie line. Here Parker shows us why his role as the Dream maker at International Guy stands out. I love that he's all about boosting a woman's confidence by pointing out the positives and Carlan so cleverly gives Parker the chops to design a fashion show with props to build on that vibe.

Mission accomplished Parker jets off to San Francisco, with partner Royce stepping off the plane and to the plate as IG's resident matchmaker. What I loved about this story was the connection between client Rochelle and Royce and how this tested Parker's mindset. Now I love Parker but he's a bit of a hypocrite and Royce calls him out on it. Royce is a big boy, he knows what he's doing. Ultimately Rochelle's request for IGs to find her life partner is made better by Royce's understanding of her "needs".

Next, we follow the whole IG crew to Montreal where software entrepreneurs Alexis Stanton and her brother Kidd find their business under siege. The team comes up with a great plan to smoke out the mole who is handing over company secrets to the competitors. While this is in the works Parker is in the midst of a breakdown. That's all I can call it. All rational thought is out the window as his newly found personal love life unravels. The drama is HIGH in this part of the story and at times Parkers' lack of action unnerved me. He creates his own misery and struggles to find footing. I'll admit he exhausted me, but obviously not in the way he normally exhausts his women.

This volume builds up the relationships between the IG staff and the work they do. I look forward to the next group of cities and seeing the team together again. 4 stars.

This is the second volume in the International Series and just shows how great the author is at transforming a new series into a stellar best seller. I have enjoyed this immensely and seeing each little series turned into a volume. I will wind up getting the Paperback version of this one. I'm hoping that she continues this even through this year and just makes it a long series like the yoga series. I found the characters engaging, funny, and multi-dimensional. I can't wait for the next one.

I received an ARC at no cost from the author or NetGalley.

I started reading this book but never finished as I didn't really like the main chracter so found it difficult to be interested in what actually happened in the book. Not for me sorry

This installment of the International Guy series was E*P*I*C. We follow our dream team to visit clients Milan, San Francisco & Montreal in this volume.

Please note it is *NOT* my intention to have any type of spoilers- and I can’t stress enough you NEED to jump on this journey and own your truth. These do need to be read in order to have context on where the journey begins
.
The relationship between Pretty boy Parker and miss Peaches Skyler herself really hits the ground running early on. There are paparazzi, compromising photos, overhead phone conversations, bodyguards, agents, and assistants all in the mix. There is a healthy dose of jealousy, possessiveness, ex’s, and media ready to ruin them before they even really get to get going. I love the authenticity Audrey uses when writing Skylers character. A true Hollywood actress, who is humanly and beautifully flawed.

There are definitely “cliffhangers” in the sense that not all is *well* when the novella ends, however there are still 6 novellas/2 volume’s left to release– DO NOT let that discourage you!!!

In Milan, Parker & Bo are assisting on a fashion campaign, in San Francisco, Royce and Parker do some love making, and Montreal is full on corporate espionage! Each installment is uniquely brilliant, and I can’t wait to see where our journey leads us next
