If the state of the world has created anxiety and a feeling of hopelessness within you, this is a great book to read. I have long been a believable in gratitude lists and I spent a little time each day contemplating the many wonderful things in my life, but Shilamida really helped me take this to a new level and feel the broader reach if the universe. I feel happier and more hopeful as a result.

A beginner's guide to mindful journaling. The book is short and acts like prompts for you to write out your thoughts in a journal.

It is a nice book. I did not do it as a journal but just read through it. This is a type of book which is nice to have on the bedside table to do the exercises every morning or evening. I felt my berating become more slow as I read the book, and I felt a calm over me.

One negative thing is that one of the days underplayed anxiety and depression to a point where I got angry. Saying that those are just a bad habit make me so angry and sad. It is a decease that makes your brain give out bad signals, and if you suffer from it you should ask for help. You still have to do a lot of work your self, but I would never have gotten well if I did not have a person to guide how to "rewire" my thoughts and brain.

This is a very simple book, a basic beginners guide to gratefulness and the Law of Attraction. I would use it as a gift for a teenager to help them focus on gratitude and creating what they want, or I would give it to an adult whowas having a really hard time or going through difficulties. I believe it was meant to be used as a workbook instead of a book that teaches about gratitude.

I loved this book. The gratitude prompts were very helpful. They made you think and reconsider the areas in your life that you are grateful for.

This is a 31-day gratitude journal that seems at first glance overly simplified, but I found to be really helpful. I've been really interested in starting a gratitude journal, mostly because it is SO easy to get caught up in the materialistic world we live in.

At first, I just zipped through the copy to know what this journal was about and what I would have to do. Then, I went back through day by day to work through the exercises. I was pleasantly surprised at the things that would pop up that I was grateful for, and also a little embarrassed about how cynical I was in the beginning. It sounded cheesy, breathing in and out because a booklet told you to do so, but I found it cathartic, encouraging, and soothing by the end. Shilamida relays the importance of ridding yourself of negative energy and putting positive thoughts out into the universe, allowing the universe to supply you with what you want to achieve happiness.

If you are interested in starting a simple gratitude journal or an easy way to practice mental mindfulness, this is a great place to start and I highly recommend the read. This journal helped me focus on the small things, and was very easy to follow along with. Each day starts with a prompt, something to think about and focus on, which then leads you to a series of examples of things to be grateful for. Then there are a series of fill-in-the-blanks, of which you write down what you are grateful for. What I loved most is that it doesn't take a lot of time out of your day- this booklet is your quick guide, and it only takes a few minutes to jot down your gratitudes. Though, this isn't to say you couldn't go further with your thoughts or take more time to write!

Thank you NetGalley for providing me this ebook in exchange for an honest review!

31 days of gratitude ⭐️

If you consider yourself hippie dippie then this is probably good for you.
The words “I am greatful for” was 95% of the book. But it did remind me of the things i am greatful for so it did a good job.

If you need a reminded on why you shouldnt throw a pity party a reminder that you have so many things when others dont. Pick this up you might feel better, you might also feel selffish for having so much.

Thank you so much to booksgosocial via netgalley for sending me an ARC copy of 31 days of gratitue by Shilamida. This will be released on November 20, 2017.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book courtesy of NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book should be called a workbook or journal. The majority of the book you fill in what you are grateful for each day. Each day has some helpful affirmations, many of which are repetitive. Then 6 to 11 times it will say I am grateful for with a line to fill in the blank. I was expecting more useful information, not just a workbook.

I found this book/ journal a little short, however it is to the point and filled with alot of great information.
It is a simplified version of the law of attraction , positive thinking and energy healing in one easy to read book.

This book wasn't quite what I was looking for. If I'm looking free a thirty or thirty-one day guide, I want more direction than a full in the blank "I'm grateful for ___"

I thought this book had more material than a mere 31 days of I am grateful for ... ideas. I probably wasn't a good target audience for this book.

Short book full of advice on how not to take life for granted. However, I was expecting more content instead of a list of things that person is grateful for. Some of it comes from a privileged perspective and overall I didn't feel like I gained anything from reading it.

I believe everyone will feel better after having this experience and realizing how many wonderful things they have in their lives. It's a very positive, inspiring book. The concept is very simple, but it makes us think about things that we take for granted.

This book simply reminds us to be grateful for everything we are, have, do and look forward to. I'm glad the publisher and NetGalley approved my request to read the eARC.

It was easy to look at this book. I'm not so sure I like the method of delivery. It almost seems as if reading the long list of things to grateful would be more by rote than actually finding appreciation through a bit more writing about one thing at a time.
