This is a very interesting book regarding the opioid addiction problems facing my people. It offers herbal remedies to help with addiction and recovery. I recommend it if you have ever had to deal with these issues.

I am not quite sure how effective the treatments within would be for drug addicts, but we as a society push addicts into programs with very low efficacy (AA, pricey rehab, etc.), so I would definitely be open to exploring the treatments within. Knowledge is power and I think with opioids, we need to be aware of as many possible treatments as we can. Also, what is effective for one person might not be for another, so we need to know about what is out there. Western medicine in the traditional sense has done little to curb opiate addiction, so eastern medicine and natural treatments deserve a try. I also like how the author addresses pain management within, something that is often intertwined with drug abuse, but something also it’s own animal. I would recommend this to anyone in the field.

This is a great book if you are looking for diy herbal remedies that you can use at home for Opiod Addiction. It teaches you to heal your inner self through herbs and essential oils over drugs. It address Chinese medication and how to use it along with acupuncture and acupressure techniques for treatment. I learned a lot through reading this book and will be looking for a print copy to have on hand as the suggested remedies can be used for more than just opiod addictions.
