Vizions of the Future is a strongly written and well-organized collection. There's something in this volume that is sure to please a wide range of science fiction readers. I was especially glad to discover a new work by Adam Boustead, an author I have encountered in my book reviewing before. Recommended for readers of this genre and those who want to explore new worlds.

This anthology has a set of atypical stories. If you like stories that may seem somewhat weird and sometimes perhaps unfinished then you should try this. I particularly enjoyed one by Chris Turner that was both.

An eclectic mix of eleven sci-fi short stories were compiled by as many authors that made for fascinating reading. The unique storylines ranged widely while keeping with the general genre of the book - science fiction. An astounding look of what was in store for us in the future graced the pages. I would recommend this collection of sci-fi short stories to any fan of the genre.

Sergeant Rick, written by Robert B Marcus, Jr. And Ryan B. Marcus claimed first place. The storyline was filled with mystery and intrigue. It was well-written and easy to follow. The narrative spoke to an eerie, weird storyline reminiscent of The Twilight Zone with an ending that left me reaching out for more.

The "z"in"visions" should've been the giveaway. This is exactly what it says it is - a collection of amateur short stories by science fiction writers who are just starting out. I'm sure it's very hard to get started and kudos to them for scraping up the money to do this. If you read this, be aware of what it is before you go in.
