To read about Jane's life and the loss of her four babies made finding the words to say to my friend easier as well as making it so I didn't add to the impact of her loss. Jane writes as a friend rather than a preacher on a soapbox. She suggests ways to mark the baby's birthday rather than dictates what the family should do. It's perfect for any woman who has lost a baby or to understand how to help a loved one who has tragically suffered a miscarriage.
