I am a huge fan of Cassandra Clare and the shadow hunter universe and so was incredibly excited to receive this sample chapter. This sampler, as with all of Clare's books was brilliant. I love Cassandra Clare's ability to write such big books with such complex world's and storylines, with such ease. Now I am even more excited to read the full book once it is released.

Amazing sampler! Can't wait to read the whole thing and complete the trilogy. The Shadowhunter world is so immersive and addictive!

When I requested an arc of this book I did not realise that it was a sample and not a full book - so I feel unable to give a true review based on the little I read .
However what I did read has prompted me to buy the book to follow the remainder of what appeared to be a great story

OMG, this sampler had me so excited for the release of this book I ended up regretting reading it as it made the wait for the full novel more nerve-racking.

Amazing sampler. I’ve read the full book now and it was the perfect ending to the trilogy. Probably my favourite of the shadow hunter book sets
Can’t wait for more Ty and Kit in TWP

While this was only a sampler I did enjoy it and will be buying this to complete the series! How could I not? I really need to know how the story ends and so far it's looking good! I only wish this was the whole book. :)

Queen of Air and Darkness- sampler- sooo I’m in a weird position with this book cos I’ve been sitting on the review for close to a month now… and I still have no idea when I’m going to get *my explosion of thoughts* together for it. And since I got a snippet off netgalley, it kinda makes sense to do a snippet size review before I get into *all the spoilers*. Basically, I ended up liking it a lot less than I expected and took a while to wade through it. Then I had to wait forever for the monkey baby to finish it so I could discuss it with her. The only completely positive thing I can say about this is that I still like the writing style. Everything else… I had issues with. That’s not to say I outright hated it- but that all the components left me feeling increasingly d i v i d e d. Hence why I’m conflicted about it now. So ahead of my full thoughts, I’m just gonna go ahead and give it:

Rating: 2½/5 bananas

This is final book in the shadow hunters series!! So sad that this series has ended!! This series means soo much to me. Sorry and sad that its ended but loved how it ended!! Beautiful cover and book!! All in for this book and this series!! Reccomend this series and book for all!!

This sampler is amazing. It give us an inside of how epic this third and final installment is going to be. I really can't wait to know how this trilogy ends, but I'm sure I'm going to love it.

Queen of Air & Darkness, the third and final novel in The Dark Artifices series by international bestselling author Cassandra Clare, begins in a compelling fashion, and despite this only being a sneak peek it's enough to know that this is likely going to be one of the most enjoyable reads of 2018. As always, the writing is completely immersive, and the characters are ones you truly care about and follow as they evolve. The action starts right away with none of the easing in that some books have, and I found it quite emotional as big decisions are made.

It's absolutely essential to have read the preceding two books before this one as the plot is a continuation of the events that happened in those previous instalments. I'm looking forward to returning to the world of the Shadowhunters and reading the full book.

Oh my goodness, I can not wait for this! It's been 2 years since the crashing, heart breaking ending of Lord of Shadows. And I need all my babies to be ok!!

Riveting, can’t wait to read more. Not sure how I feel about Ty wanting to bring Liv back, but I hope it doesn’t work. Emma and Jules also need to sort something out.

I loved this sampler, straight back into the Shadowhunters world, Cassandra Clare's writing is so wonderful I cannot wait for this book already have it on pre-order. All my old favourites present and felt back at home like I had never left.
