I'm a huge Cassandra Clare fan and this world is one of my favourites to keep coming back to! I think this series may be my favourite out of them all. There is so many interesting characters especially the Blackthorn. I had kind of forgotten what had happened in the last one but this sample refreshed my memory and made me excited to continue it! I am hooked already and can tell this book will be a whirlwind of emotions!

I don't know this series and was really curious.
It's a wonderful beginning and I look forward to reading the book and the series.

Cassandra Clare I eagerly await this 3rd instalment. I just love these books. I think they are definitely my favourite series. Just devastated it’s a teaser nd have to wait for the full edition.

I do enjoy these books a lot more than her other novels but there is something I don't like about her books that lessens my enjoyment and after reading the sample I don't think I'll continue as I have lost interest.

This is amazing! I cannot wait for the book to come out! I am so excited for it!

I was over the moon to be selected to read this sample of the soon to be released Queen of Air and Darkness. I have been a lover of the works of Cassandra Clare for a while and it started with Jace and Clary. This sample was just enough to wet my taste buds and make me hunger for the rest.

This book weaves the lives of Shadowhunters both good and bad together in a way that leaves you breathless. As I have read most of the other books in the series I found it easy enough to follow and I knew recognized extended characters from previous books in the series. I am glad they are having life breathed into them in this book of the series.

This is definitely not a standalone read, to understand the world of the Shadowhunter you will need to have read the other books in this amazing series. But trust me, that would be a pleasure, not a chore. This series is amazing.
The sample was deliciously descriptive and my favorite quote from the book which I intent from this point to implement in my life is, "Better to ask forgiveness than permission."

I will be hitting the pre-order button and all I can say is...roll on December!

This sampler (which is different to a physical one I had already received) shows us some of the immediate consequences that occur just after the events of the previous book (lord of shadows). Without giving too much away it tells us where a few of the affected parties are, what they’re doing and to some extent what their goals are which make it a great set up and tantalising snippet!

I love this series!!! Each book just gets better and better and I get more and more invested in the characters! I love this universe so much, it's well built, the plot is epic and I cannot get enough of this author. Cannot wait to get my hands on the full book!!!!! Excellent sampler :) thanks NetGalley.

This is a fantastic sneak peak of a book I wholly anticipate to love! Cassandra Clare is fantastic at truly understanding the connections between people and I believe Queen of Air and Darkness will illustrate this stronger than any of her previous titles. Roll on 4th December!

I knew requesting and downloading this sampler was going to be a mistake...

When I first saw the sampler on NetGalley, I was in two minds over whether to request this or not. I have been Cassandra Clare's Shadowhunter world since just prior the release of City of Glass and, barring the last 3 books in the Mortal Instruments series, I have tried to read all the books and enjoyed them hugely.

With the Dark Artefacts, I was in two minds over if I had outgrown the world and whether to continue reading the series after the dramatic ending of Lord of Shadows and the rumoured page length of Queen of Air and Darkness (around 720 pages).

After reading this sampler, it has made me realise that I want to see where this is going and that I'm not ready to say goodbye to the Shadowhunter world. Plus, reading the sampler and remember what the shocking cliffhanger of Lord of Shadows and the one of two elements that will be driving force of Queen, I am now quite excited over what's going to happen next. Looks like I know what I'll be reading at Christmas...

I'm so hyped right now.
This sampler was the best thing ever, I honestly can't wait to have the physical book in my hands on the 4th of December.
Cassandra Clare never fails to make me laugh, cry, and put a big smile on my face. She honestly can do no wrong in my opinion.
My favourite characters were (almost) all in these first few pages, so I could not ask for more, really.

I've just read a sampler of this book and now December 4th can't come soon enough. I just want all of the characters to be okay and safe. I knew the beginning of the third book was going to be hard since we had that ending in the second one and I was so right. My heart is already breaking for the Blackthorns. I definitely can't wait to see how this wonderful series wraps up.

Even though it's just a Snippet, I NEED more!

Do I really have to wait to see everyone?! I'm really intrigued to see what's going to happen... and there's so much teasing of what's to come, I'm beyond excited!

I was sooooo excited to read the next installment of this series and now I'm more excited than ever! I'm looking forward to see how the story develops as I feel like this is Cassandra Clare's best series so far. Better than Clockwork Angel and the Mortal Instruments and certainly home to far superior characters. 5*

I can’t tell you how much I’ve missed Julian, Emma and the gang! And a cameo from Jem? Yes please.

This sampler reminded me of all the horrific happenings from the previous two books (and made me want to reread them RIGHT NOW!) and I just can’t wait to see where this story is going to end up. Cassandra Clare promised us this book would change the world of the shadow hunters as we know it, and the little clues sprinkled throughout this sampler are already making me suspicious! Jem, Tessa and Magnus all seem to be investigating some sort of disease or curse damaging Warlocks, whilst the Carstairs are talking about bringing Livia back from the dead. My emotions are just.....everywhere.

I need this book now. And so do you!
