Even though I was expecting an underwhelming finale, I was caught by surprise by how non-ultimate-ish book Hold On Tight was. Half of the book is Jett and Savannah's story before events the series started, which in my opinion was a waste of space. To me, it's one of the cases where is best not to show and to just tell. It didn't advance the plot and we didn't get much of the needed space to advance the story or show us the effects of the shocking discoveries from the previous book. There was barely any mention of all that and 6 books into the series, 6 books into rooting for these people to find themselves again, felt like they were a bit wasted. It was disappointing. Ι do love the series, but at this point, I feel like we have barely made any progress and we are 6 books in. The final book in the series didn't deliver a satisfying ending to all of my beloved characters. Too many things were left unresolved for my liking. And to be honest, even Sawyer and Elizabeth who are the core characters of the series were barely seen which was another disappointment.

This is truly a great series and it just keeps getting better. I just keep wanting more, I hope there will be more books in this series.

Another great hit in a great series by a great author. Jett and Savannah's romance story. A good story, and wraps up a few loose ends in the series. I liked the characters and the story line, and have enjoyed this series a lot. Not sure you have to read them all, but encourage you to check them out. Highly entertaining. Highly recommend this book, series and author.

Readers definitely need to "Hold On Tight" to their seats as Cynthia Eden takes her readers on another spine chilling ride with her Lazarus Series.

Amazing! An excellent example of true entertainment. This book has everything needed to make an enticing page-turner. Toni Anderson writes an awesome intriguing romance- the characters are believable, realistic and charismatic. The interactions, tied with the backdrop and situations make Ms Anderson's books outstanding.

I absolutely love this Lararus Rising series. The Lazarus soldiers are zombies, sort of. Not the slobbering idiots hungry for brains. But smoking hot, military trained bad asses that can only be killed by a bullet to the brain.

This installment focuses on Jett & Savannah. Savannah's got her own talent that of course is being exploited by the men in white coats. This is a great progression to the overall story arc too so I'm excited to see where this goes.

Ms. Eden has written another solid suspenseful romance. I liked how the story progressed. A+ from start to finish

A Lararus series standout with super soldier Jett on a mission to rescue Savannah from the nefarious bad guys. And a baby! The first from a Larasus man. Swoon! Jett jumps into action to save Savannah and the child in this action-packed suspenseful story along with the turbulent romance between Jett and Savannah. Will these two work out their issues and put aside the hurt to get their happy ending? First they have to make it to safety. They have some seriously hot chemistry that’s too good to ignore. Fantastic characters in a dynamic storyline by a terrific author.

Hold On Tight by Cynthia Eden is book 9 in the Lazarus Rising Series. This is the story of Jett and Savannah. I haven't read the previous books, so for me this was a standalone book.
Jett was dead but he is alive now and a fighting machine who saved Savannah. Their quick hot encounter sticks in both of their minds. Jett doesn't think he deserves such a special women has Savannah...so he leaves her. Savannah is hurt after Jett saved her made...then made her have feeling for him...then he left. Now Jett learns the truth that Savannah was a set up to test him and now she is in danger because of that fact. But reentering into her life along with what else developed that night isn't going to be easy. Savannah puts up her guard to resit him and trust has been broken.
Hot..and exciting read!

Lazarus Project is back!

Jett isn't your average super soldier, Lazarus ensured that. He can fade into the shadows and has a handy knack of being able to tap into others thoughts. He and the team are sent to retrieve kidnap victim and Senators daughter Savannah. Once they disposed of the baddies, he and Savannah got a bit closer than he ever imagined! But after he disappears from her life like a puff of smoke, leaving another body in his wake, Savannah feels used and vows to get on with her life.

Fast forward a few months and Jett is facing up to the fact that he loves Savannah and just as he gets ready to go to her, he learns that she is in danger once again. But once he finds her, he realises what else she has been keeping from him and just why they were thrown together months ago. Lazarus has an all new, improved, more hellish plan in mind than just making super-soldiers!

I really enjoy this series. Each book feels fresh and the story line is varied enough to stop me feeling bored. I do enjoy a good, anguished hero. Don't make it easy for him to waltz back into the heroine's life, make him work hard! And Savannah surely does make it difficult for him, even when she desperately needs him.

I love, love LOVE this book!

The action starts right out of the gate and runs full throttle until the very end! I could not put the book down! There’s danger, suspense, subterfuge, betrayal, double-crosses and so much more!

The plot is fast-paced and exciting! The characters are brilliantly crafted, and the romance is steamy! I loved Savannah! She is such a strong, confident heroine. I wanted to be her! Jett is a solid hero that’ll satisfy your thirst for danger and so sexy he’ll leave you weak in the knees!

This is the sixth book in the Lazarus Rising series but can easily be read as a standalone. Which I did because I skipped books 1-5. I’ll definitely be going back to read those!

HOLD ON TIGHT is a wild and crazy ride, perfect for any reader! You don’t have to be a fan of the romantic suspense genre to enjoy this book, there’s something in here for everyone!

Wow,what a action packed romance! I did not realize that this was part of a series but it was easy to understand most of the book. There were a few things that were not explained in depth but they were not really an important part of the story.

Lots of twist and turns, lots of secrets revealed, and you don't know who you can trust! I did suspect one person but there were others who played parts in this twisted plan. Some actually helped and then would turn around and betray them, so you never knew until the end who was an ally.

Poor Jett just wanted to keep Savannah safe but she was not fast to forgive him for leaving especially when it looked like he had killed Savannah's father.

I was looking at the list of books in the Lazarus series and saw that almost all the previous couples were part of this book. I always enjoy when the previous characters make an appearance in the next book.

This book was so much fun to read and so very hard to put down. I stayed up late so that I could finish it as i could not put it down!!

I really enjoyed this latest book in the Lazarus Rising series. Jett is part of Lazarus - soldiers who have died and been brought back by science to become killing machines. He let Savannah go once to keep her safe but when he finds out she's pregnant all bets are off. Lots of action and red hot romance.

Even having read several books in the Lazarus Rising I have to admit this one had me wondering what was really going on. Cynthia Eden uses the same writing style and story line all her Lazarus Raising series. Man has to have the woman and will do anything to keep her safe. Chest banging, Alpha Yada Yada. Trust me the book is either running tiny story lots of sex and more running, killing, sex and MINE!
However if readers are invested in the series this is a can't be missed.

Again we meet the Lazarus soldiers Men with no past no future and no soul but is that the truth.

This is Jett and Savannah's story. Savannah has been kidnapped and it is up to Jett a super soldier to rescue her then keep her safe this he does even though he dies in the process (he is a Lazarus soldier) but he knows he can't stay with her she isn't meant for his life, or is she. When he finds out that her kidnapping and their love was all part of a plan he will do whatever he needs to in an attempt to protect her and their child she is carrying. This can be read as a stand alone but I wouldn't recommend it as there is a storyline that weaves its way through all of the books.

Brought back from the dead, Jett is supposed to be little more than a machine. His heart should be ice cold, but it’s not. Jett Bianchi finally gets his book with Hold on Tight being the sixth (and possibly final) story of the Lazarus Rising series. Another super-soldier meets his match, whilst fighting unknown enemies at every turn.

I have loved this series, Cynthia is one of my favorite paranormal romantic suspense authors, and each of the Lazarus Rising books highlight exactly why she is such a prolific writer in this genre. While each book can easily be read as a standalone there has been a central story arc playing out throughout, and that is the realization that all of the men (and women) that have come through the Lazarus facilities, and lived to tell the tale, have had a fight on their hands to retain their freedom.

"I’m glad I met you… Whatever else happens remember that."

Each and every enemy that the lead characters have faced has had their own twisted agenda, and it’s kept the story-line fresh for each of the couples that come together through their telling. The author is also a master at throwing in unexpected twists and turns, and that was definitely the case with Jett and Savannah, just when I had thought I’d got everything worked out something else happened and someone else turned out to not be who you initially thought they were.

"You get past my guard. Sometimes, your thoughts just slip right into my mind."

Without giving away spoilers, the author used one of my favorite tropes in this one too, and as expected it turned over-protective, alpha Jett, in to over-the-top-over-protective alpha Jett, but he was an absolute sweetheart with it. Savannah was pretty easy to like too, with her never-give-up fighting spirit, and the trust she had in him from the beginning.

"Trust me… I’ll keep you safe."

Another winner, and I hope that this isn’t the end for the series, there were a couple of characters in this book with possibly their own stories to tell. We shall see I suppose, but whatever happens I’m always eagerly awaiting the next release from this author.

The Lazarus soldiers are back in another exhilarating and explosive romantic suspense that holds on tight to readers from beginning to end. Jett and Savannah draw readers in with their strong, convincing characters and their electrical chemistry during a progressive relationship that is full of major obstacles, sizzling red-hot passion and thrilling danger. The readers easily connect to these two characters as they navigate their romance while fighting off bad guys that have a very long reach and readers can’t help but become caught up in their story.

Adrenaline pumping thrills and excitement keeps readers glued to the pages as an enemy with a diabolical and long term plan tries to capture or eliminate Jett and Savannah. Surprising twists and explosive action ensures that there is never a dull moment throughout this fast paced and smooth flowing plot that the author has brought to brilliant life with her well written words and brilliant creativity.

I can’t get enough of the page turning Lazarus Rising series and Jett and Savannah’s story is one fascinating no-holes barred, read that I couldn’t put down. The story is in two parts as it begins with how Jett met Savannah and the second part picks up in the present where Jett discovers that is entirely possible for him to father a child. The whole concept of these altered military men and their devious enemies is intriguing and with some unique elements that makes it different from others and ensures that readers come back for more, needless to say, I am looking forward to the next book.

Wow! This was one wild ride!

From the moment Jett first laid eyes on a picture of Savannah he was pulled in, experiencing a feeling he had never felt before. When he and his team of super soldiers are sent in to rescue her he is shocked to discover that there is so much more to this woman than just her smile and dimples. They have some things in common and those things may be the very reason they can’t escape danger.

This book started out fast and it never slowed down. It was like a coaster ride as it took me through twists and turns, speeding up and then slowing down right before a huge plummet. I loved every intense moment. You will not be able to predict where this story is going to take you.

I’m addicted to this series about these soldiers and each additional book pulls me deeper and deeper into their world, each book revealing something new about them and yet, in my opinion, able to stand alone. However, there isn’t a bad one in the bunch so I highly recommend you read them all. Especially if you love strong alpha heroes who are jealous, possessive and determined to keep their women safe.
