Do You Feel It Too? was simply amazeballs!! Nicole Rendell has brought many different story's that have their own unique footprint. Every book that Nicola releases, I love them more and more. So everyone is already talking it, but I cannot "not" include it in my review. Gabe's and Lily's first encounter....PERFECTLY AWKWARD! These two hit it off and try to stay away. I love when there is that "magical pull" that kept bringing Lily and Gabe together. And the behind the door scene had my kindle screen melting! Nicole makes sexy even sexier if that can be possible.

Do You Feel It Too? was a fun read for me. I enjoyed the characters and the story line. I cannot wait to see what Nicola will bring her readers next!

This is the first book I've read by Nicola Rendell and I would certainly read more in the future. As I liked the style of writing, the way the story flowed and the characters themselves.

But I did struggle to get into the actual story. Although I was engaged and I found it almost angst free, light hearted, and at times fun. And I enjoyed Gabe and Lilly's relationship and there was certainly plenty of heat between the pair, and that's one of the things that kept me reading. And I would certainly recommend it to others. Especially if you have enjoyed this authors other works.

I feel love for this book!

I loved this book! This is a perfect rom-com! I laughed out loud so much, & I swooned at the romance! I loved the meet-cute/meet-funny between Gabe & Lily all the way through to getting to know each other to falling in love to a little bit angst to a happy ending. I loved both main characters, felt for them & I was rooting for them the whole time. If you love reading a quick, funny, romantic book like I do, then read this book

I’d spent my whole career avoiding dangerous situations. I get within 10 feet of Lily and it’s one disaster after another. She was like the Bermuda Triangle.

Nicola Rendell hit out of the park again. I absolutely loved this story, but how can you now fall in love with an urban legend hunter, The General and some hot romance? Gabe was the perfect mix of alpha and sweet and Lily is sweet, clumsy, adorable. Their first meeting literally knocks Gabe off his feet and he doesn’t know what hits him.

Sometimes the thing you’ve been looking for shows up when you least expect it.

Gabe is probably one of the hottest urban legend hunters on the planet, no wonder he fell into his own TV show. That show brought him ghost hunting in Savannah, Georgia. Lily, is a sound engineer and a Savannah native. They end up working together and the sparks start to fly.

The General may be my favorite character in this book and maybe my favorite character that Nicola has written. He is an African Grey Parrot that Lily inherited from her grandmother and The General loves Lily, very much. I couldn’t stop laughing at the things that came out of his mouth.

This book is full of sexiness, sweetness, a strong alpha male, a sweet southern girl, and loads of laughs. Definitely a must read and one of my favorite books of 2018!

I've never laughed so hard, on the elliptical reading I had to stop and collect myself. The General is a riot, Gabe the monster hunter is hotter than Hades and Lilly is a spunky Georgia peach. It's funny, very sexy and unique. Loved the idea of a tv personality with a crazy series and a hometown southern girl. I was lucky to receive a copy from Netgalley.

I am near the 50% mark and struggling to finish this title. To be honest, I've skimmed from about 30% on. It's been quite disappointing because I really enjoyed this author's last release and her writing is quite skilled. In the beginning I was really into the humor and characters, even the General was a fun little addition. However, beyond the first sex scene I have not been able to reconnect . The use of the term "motherfucker" completely drew me out of the novel and the chemistry has been nonexistent beyond that point. There was a bit of a spark of interest near 50% but not enough to encourage me to make a commitment to finishing it.

Nicola Rendell certainly knows how to put a good story together and to make her characters come alive. Her writing is always exceptional, her words witty, with lots of character. Her stories are usually about angsty romance; the ups and the downs of her characters lives.

This is Gabe and Lily's story. They come from totally different backgrounds; she's a home bird and he travels around the world making television programs but when he spots her one night while working in Savannah, Lily's hometown, he is instantly smitten. Gabe is a wonderful bear of a man, loving sexy and gorgeous and Lily is lovely, down to earth and very real. Each has such different lives with responsibilities that hold them back. It sure was entertaining finding out whether or not they made it together!!

Nicola Rendell has written a most entertaining book with interesting secondary characters. Plus a parrot called General, who may I add was just amazing and so funny to read, this book is a certain hit for me and not to be missed !!!

I have read every single one of Nicola Rendell's books and adored them. I followed this author right from the start of her writing career and I will continue to do so, her writing goes from strength to strength.

Hands down my favorite Nicola Rendell book yet! It has the best secondary characters ever! #GeneralsArmy I'm starting the fan club ASAP! But the story....is ever better! Bless Your Heart, you haven't read it yet!?! (Purses lips and begins The Glare)

The chemistry between these two is off the charts insane. Clothes burning off with a look kind of insane. The relationship may not be what either is looking for but they can't help themselves.

The plot is filled with fun times and even better adventures. Listen carefully...(uncontrolled snickering errors as I type that) Watch out for unexpected surprises. Be on the look out for swarthy villians! ( I lost one. He's mine!)

Do You Feel It Too has all the feels by the way! The diving into a new situation. Falling fast for someone new with an inexplicable connection. An intensity rivaled only by your favorite historical couples. Deep painful heartache. Joy, an all encompassing joy.

Yes, I feel it too!

Do You Feel It Too by Nicola Rendell is the story of Gabe and Lily. Gabe meet Lily through some funny, complex yet totally belivable circumstances. This theme runs throughout the story. I mean the author's ability to creat magic with puzzle pieces. This is an age old love story with lots of small pieces which click together exactly at the right moment. It's no thriller but I had so many "aha" moments in it. So the story is never boring and always entertaining.
The story has two other characters. General, the African Grey parrot with an unusual intelligence and gift of the gab. And the second character is the town in Savannah and its people. General is the best non human character I have met in a long time! The scenes are so hilarious that my stomach was hurting. The story has so detailed characterisation. I liked each and every person. The aunt with the amazing foods, the medium, the dead uncle's secret recipe, the near haunted experiences- everything was so amazing .
But nothing was random. Every little piece has some purpose but you wont know until the moment comes! And the passion was so damn scorching hot!! The sex scenes were honestly panty melting. Gabe is so dreamy! The perfect guy with every quality of a great book boyfriend. And Lily's character was totally adorable and admirable. The story gives spin to a love story and you will get lost in the story only to realise it's over tooo soon and you need more. The author wrote every scene elaborately with lots of fun, emotion and smartness. I felt like I am reading a movie script!
5 shining stars!
Nicola Rendell will take you through a hilarious, sexy and emotional journey in Do You Feel It Too!Just sit back, enjoy and have a blast.

Mr. Powers sure has some.. powers.

A story that has depth, but has a whiff of instalove, but somehow, it doesn't deter me much. My latest fascination: random guys discovering mysteries of the world, combined with Nicola's writing? Yes, please.
The family and connection between these characters was enjoyable to read, and I would do it again!
4.5 stars

A delightful romance, fun to read and full of quirky characters. I loved the style of writing, the heroine, so human and well written.
The plot was engaging and entertaining and read the book in one setting.
Recommended!
Many thanks to Montlake Romance and Netgalley for this ARC

The story was sweet, fan, for the most part very light hearted, and with enough passionate moments to make you swoon. Gabe Powers was adorable. I expected him to be cocky and annoying since he is a TV star but he actually was super sweet. Lilly is in many ways the opposite of Gabe. Gabe traveled the world, Lilly has never left her little corner in Savannah.
Their first encounter was funny, one disaster after the other. But that didn't stop the heat that built between them.

The story fell a little short because of the insta-love. Most of the time I don't mind those but I know many of you will and at times even I felt uncomfortable with its pace here. That being said, the thing that was really a problem, and I think it will be to many readers was the sex scene. I will just copy and paste here part of another reviewer's opinion (Suzanne's Review on GoodReads) because she put it perfectly:
"...the first time the couple has sex, he's inside her and says

"Are we going to screw around with condoms, or are you going to let me come inside you?"

Now, I went back through the first 30% of the book to check, and they had never discussed contraception or sexual health. This dude travels the world for his television show and has women throwing themselves at him all the time. She may be sexually chaste, but he's not. And they've never talked about it! Worse, the heroine doesn't tell him to F off, she just says "is it safe" and he makes a joke and there they go, having the sex. What if she had said no? "

I liked the story, but I have to agree with Suzanne that this scene was very poorly thought.

MY RATING: 4/5 STARS
I received a copy from Thomas Allen & Sons in exchange for a honest review and to take part in the blog tour.

This is my first Nicola Rendell book and after being told by my friend, Ambur, that Nicola's books are flirty, fun, and sexy I knew I would enjoy this one. Do You Feel It Too tells the story of a character very similar to Bear Grylls, the British adventurer, that dominated our televisions with his extraordinary show.

Gabe Powers is in Savannah to film his television pilot. He doesn't believe in ghosts but he's going ghost hunting. However, the only thing that he seemed to have found is a beautiful sound engineer named Lily Jameson. Their attraction sizzles from the pages as soon as they meet and long before their story ends. After an amazing night, Lily is hired by Gabe's eccentric talent agent to be the regular sound engineer for the show. This is a huge milestone for Lily as the small odd jobs here and there hasn't really made her instantly rich or her business booming. Everything sounds perfect until the contract states that no employee shall have a sexual relationship or any relationship for that matter. When Lily takes it very seriously, it's up to Gabe to seduce her. Only instead of just giving his body to Lily, he's also giving his heart.

I really enjoyed the pacing of this story in a way. At first, it seemed a little bit quick at how attracted Gabe was to Lily. He just kept having really hot dirty thoughts of her and Lily didn't shy away from it either. However, after we've gotten through the standard of the old in-n-out, they just kind of slipped into a comfortable relationship of living with each other which made it nice and sweet but also slow at times. These events didn't feel like it was moving the plot forward nor did it drive any characters to take actions that would cause conflict or have revelations.

Who also knew a sizzling romance could include a cast of quirky characters such as a pet bird who is amazingly smart for an animal who has a pea-sized brain? The parrot turned out to be one of my favourite characters. He just kept having these amazing conversations or he did fun things here and there that makes you laugh and scream just like what the characters are doing. Move along dogs, parrots are my new favourite pets in books.

I also really enjoyed Gabe as a character. He was so perfect that it made me sick. Always understanding, patient, and thinks before he acts, Gabe could be my new book boyfriend. Even when Lily had her insecurities about their relationship Gabe really wanted to talk it out instead of taking the easy way out. I understood the complications of their relationships and felt that it in the long-end it might not workout but the story ended satisfyingly.

Overall, the novel is a solid read but got a little slow for my liking so I had to knock off a star.

MY RECOMMENDATION

Definitely read this one and check out Nicola's other books because I will!

Steamy (but not toooo much) romance between Gabe and Lily! Gabe's a tv personality and myth buster (in this case ghost hunter) and Lily is a sound engineer so they meet cute and fall in lust. No two ways around that one. Their relationship is very fast but there's problems ahead, of course, which you know will get resolved. Along the way you'll meet General, Lily's bird, and have a good laugh. Thanks to net galley for the ARC. This is an easy fast read perfect for a lazy afternoon.

In the past, this author's books have been a little hit or miss for me, but the whole "ghost hunter" angle of this one intrigued me. And, I enjoyed it. It was fairly low angst, insta-love read. The writing was well done. It was well paced. The plot was engaging. It had humor. It had little bits of interesting history sprinkled throughout. I would have liked a bit more sex, but the scenes we get were suitably hot. There was no OW or OM drama. Neither were virgins. It had some great secondary characters. The parrot was especially funny, and I hope Daisy and Ivan get an HEA of their own.

Gabe was pretty much a perfect hero. Maybe a bit TOO perfect as I found it a little hard to believe he would go from this guy whose whole life was traveling around (and him loving it) to him being perfectly happy staying in one place for the heroine. The author even implies this by having him be disappointed at missing out on chances to do some things he has always wanted to do. Hence why I loved Lily and totally got where she was coming from. Considering his brief look of disappointment about the Scotland trip, I would have had my doubts as well. Last, it was all wrapped up in an OK ending. It was sweet for sure but felt a little abrupt to me.

Nicola Rendell’s stories are pure magic. Magic, magic, magic! Each new, gorgeous story she dreams up and oh so skillfully writes, makes me wish I could transform myself into her heroines and be wooed by her hunky heroes.
Nicola invites her readers into a world that at first appears ordinary—the kind of life you or I might lead, the kind of life we can relate to. But the little twists, turns, and surprises that transcend that world and the characters’ lives … genius. The deeper you venture into the story the more wonderful it becomes.
Lily … what a sweetheart! She’s simply a lovely human being inside and out. I loved everything about her, including her honesty. None of that annoying hiding secrets about herself that will inevitably come back to bite her in the butt.
Gabe … he’s a sweetheart too! This man is all about letting loose his growly attraction to Lily in the hottest ways, not afraid to talk feelings, and such a romantic! Sigh.
The General … best secondary character ever. Hilarious and crazy shenanigans.
Lily and Gabe happened fast, but their chemistry was instantaneous, smoking hot, and real-life believable. Everything about this book—the writing, the characters, the banter, the setting—is charming, entertaining, fun, and sexy. Do You Feel It Too? is one of my top reads for the year.

Do You Feel It Too is the newest book by Nicola Rendell. I have loved Nicola’s books from the very first one I read. Every time I read a new book, I swear that it is my new favorite. Well, this time I really mean it. This book! There is just something special about it. I can’t put my finger on just what it is. Only that I loved every page, every word in it. I pretty much fell in love with Gabe and Lily right from the start. But somewhere around half way, Gabe does something that made my love for him grow so big I could hardly contain it. This is going to be one of those reviews that I struggle to find all the right words to let you know how fantastic this book really is!

Gabe Powers is sort of an accidental tv star. He never really meant for this career to happen. But a chance meeting with his now manager set him on the path he is now enjoying, and enjoying it he is. Gabe hosts the show, The Powers of Suggestion. He travels the world searching out urban legends. Gabe’s current project is researching the ghosts of Savannah, Georgia. Only it’s not a ghost encounter that set Gabe’s world off it’s axis, it was a collision, literally, with a beautiful woman.

“I’d spent my whole career avoiding dangerous situations. I get within ten feet of Lily and it’s one disaster after another. She was like the Bermuda Triangle.”

Lily Jameson has lived in Savannah all her life. She lives in the top half of a huge house, the bottom half inhabited by her sister and adorable baby nephew. Lily has her own sound engineer business. Lily rarely dates. One of the biggest reasons for that is her roommate, an African gray parrot named The General, she inherited from her grandmother. This parrot is as much a star in this book as Gabe and Lily. This parrot is so amazing, is no ordinary parrot, and also loves his Lily VERY much!

Gabe and Lily’s first encounter was a bit uncomfortable we could say, for Gabe at least. But it set them on a course that neither of them expected. The chemistry between these two was explosive from the start! Gabe knew he had to explore what this was. He couldn’t get her out of his mind. When Gabe’s manager decides he needs to hire a sound engineer to help him while in Savannah, he’s thrilled for the excuse to spend more time with Lily.

“Looking at her was exactly like that, like you thought your mind was playing a trick on you, like whatever you saw was too good to be real.”

Things escalate very quickly between these two and let me tell you, Gabe is one hot ghost hunter. He is definitely the boss in the bedroom but he also brings out a side of Lily she never knew she had, a dirty talking, dirty girl side! When Lily looks at Gabe, she can’t believe he is interested in her. He’s the most beautiful man she’s ever seen. He has thousands of women fans lusting after him. But he seems to only have eyes for her. But, he’s only here temporarily. Then he will go back to his crazy life, and she’ll stay here where she’s always been.

This book hit about every mark for me that makes a book amazing. It was sweet, sexy as heck, had humor, characters that you won’t soon forget, but mostly, it just grabbed my heart right from the beginning and never let go. Gabe was just a dream. He was all bossy alpha but was also about the sweetest man I have ever read about. This man makes the word “swoon” seem insignificant. And Lily, she was so sweet, but also had just enough spine as well. Neither of these two were looking for love, but recognized in each other that thing that was missing from their lives. What happens, though, when their time is over? How could they ever find a way to make their lives work together?

This book needs more than five stars! It needs ALL the stars! So, Nicola Rendell, you have done it again and stolen my heart. I don’t know how you do it over and over again but I am so glad you do. Thank you for another wonderful book.

“I never knew what I wanted. And then I met you”

I loved this book! From the very beginning, this quirky, flawed heroine grabbed me. I loved that she was independent, bold, and outspoken yet she was also classy, sensitive, and had a heart of gold. The scene in which she meets the hero had me laughing out loud. I loved how the chemistry between the two jumped off the page and the dialogue and interactions felt so natural. The sex scenes were fantastically hot and explosive. Woah!

Gabe was crazy about Lily from the get go and made no secret about it. Nothing was stopping him from getting the woman he wanted. He was so deliciously alpha, but not over the top.

I love that in every Nicola Rendell book there is a pet that damn near steals the show. This book is no exception. I believe The General is my new favorite Nicola Rendell pet.

I really enjoy Nicola Rendell's writing style. She comes up original storylines (ghost hunting in this one!) and has funny, lighthearted style. I give this book 4 stars instead of 5 because some moments were a bit too over the top (that snarky parrot), and I felt like that took away from the story. Also the pacing was a bit off, I think the relationship between the two came together too fast and some buildup would have been nice. Overall, a fun and enjoyable read.
