Oh my goodness me, all the swoon! If I could give this book 6 stars I would! I totally couldn’t put it down, I adored every second of it!

Poor Kimber went through so much in such a short space of time, but god I loved her strength and also her temper! And Matteo , my oh my, Matteo! He will keep you guessing and swooning all at the same time!

I’ve loved every book in this series but this one is by far my favourite, I already can’t wait to read it again!

I LOVED this book so much. It is sorta a little like cinderella with evile step sisters (dogs) and an evil step mom and the dad who dies. But it so much more than that.

As the story progresses it takes the fairy tale and turns it around and you fall in love with the evil step mom and yes even the dogs. This book is also a romance between rivals/hate turns to love and a step sibling romance as well. It all sounds a little too much right? But it really works and I absolutely loved every minute of it.

It also is different as it mostly takes place place in Italy but it starts in New York where Kimber our heroine is dumped at the alter by her fiancee of 3 years, Brad. She would be a mess except she finds a message that her father in Italy is dying. So she heads to the airport where she collides with Matteo. She begs for a flight because it is sold out and Matteo trades her his seat for her sketch book.

When she gets to Italy she finds out her father is married, Matteo is her step brother and he is after her business and he won't give her the sketches back. Which starts their love/hate romance. Add in the ex fiancee who always seems to be around and this book was so fun.

Reality wise there are a lot of coincidents so suspend reality and you will love this fun fairytale romance.

After loving ‘Melt for you’ I couldn’t wait for this book, but unfortunately it was not what I expected. I did not like the heroine from almost the start. I know she got dumped at the altar and was upset about her father dying, but she was so horrible and abrasive to Matteo from the start. Damn, he gave her a first class ticket to Italy!

It happens. You can’t fall in love with every book and this might be a case of wrong time for this book for me.

Down-on-her-luck Kimber—dumped by a wealthy fiancé at the altar—makes it to Italy, though not without more drama following her around, mostly in the form of another rich Italian tycoon. Only to realise that her dying father has remarried a calculative barracuda, left her with 2 stepsisters, an evil stepmother.

If this rings familiar, that’s because ‘Ache for You’ is a Cinderella tale of sorts from riches to rags and riches again, only that it involves a truly unlikeable heroine and a mysterious Italian man who somehow gets turned on by rudeness and a judgemental attitude.

Kimber’s tendency to overreact, her exaggerated hysteria and self-pity pouring through the pages from the start as she makes everything all about her and her misery had me wondering if I’d accidentally stumbled onto a bitchy reality series instead of a reconstructed fairytale romance. Gritting my teeth, I hoped it would get better as I read on but instead, it became more and more farcical to be believable. I just couldn’t get the connection between Kimber and Matteo—are sparks supposed to fly if the latter gets off on being verbally abused?

In essence, as much as fairytales are supposed to be much-beloved archetypes, I thought Geissinger’s own characters felt too ‘locked’ in their stereotypes (the rom-com, first person POV style of writing confirms this) to be anything more than caricatures flitting through the winding plot.

As much as I liked the first book in the series, which did actually seem promising, I’m unfortunately going to count this as a total bust for me: the signs couldn’t be clearer when I found myself simply more exasperated than enthralled just a quarter way through.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC from Netgalley.

I don't know how many ways to say "I LOVE JT Geissinger!" No, seriously. Every word, every sentence, every book. Always sooooo amazing. I almost hate reading her novels so quickly, because then I have to wait impatiently for the next... GAHHH What a conundrum. It's a real thing people.

I'm completely enjoying this series. The characters, the scenarios and the conflicts! But, what I'm finding truly awesome is what I think is one little common theme. I could be wrong, but I'm going with it. Read them! See if you see what I see.... AND if we don't agree...you've still read an amazing book... ENJOY

Ache for You is another great read in this standalone series. Kimber is a penniless seamstress where everything is going wrong for her, dumped at the altar, news that her Italian father is dying, her shop going up in flames then being bumped off her flight desperate to see her father before he dies. Enter Matteo an Italian who gives up his seat on the plane for Kimber, expecting her to fall at his feet as he is only used to woman admiring and throwing themselves at him, he is attracted to Kimberlys indifference to his stunning looks and her snarky attitude.
Once in Italy they meet up again due to Matteos connection to her father, she was too late and her father died before she could see him so she takes over his fashion house, not realising Matteo is also in the haute couture business. Sparks fly, with great dialogue and a brilliant evolving relationship of humour and passion.
I really enjoyed this book, roll on the next!
My thanks to net galley and publisher Montlake for the opportunity to review this book honestly.

Despite my love for the second book in this series, Melt for You, and my eagerness to read this one, I can't recommend it. I didn't find the premise or the principal characters believable and much of the plot seems to repeat itself over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. The heroine seems to have a genuine inability to distinguish friend from foe - and has no trouble abusing anyone she fails to understand or like. The hero falls instantly in lust with a woman he's never met - enough to offer her a round trip first class trip to Italy. As if.

Nothing about this story rang true or felt like anything more than an amped up farce and it's a terrible and disappointing follow up to the novel that preceded it.

Very disappointing, unfunny and boring.

I always love this author's books! Engaging characters, fun plot lines...much better than most cheesy romances. ( I still love cheesy romances though)

Fast paced read.

After Kimber is jilted at the altar she fleds to her native Italy to see her dying Father. At the airport she meets Matteo for the first time. She is attracted to him, but after what has just happened to her she doesn't want to be interested in another man!
Great chemistry between the tow of them, and I like how there were chapters from both Kimber and atteo's point of view.
First book I have read by this author, and looking forward to reading more!

ARC received for review

I loved the first book in this series which has no overlap whatsoever with this one.

I didn't see the chemistry between them. Kimber really liked the way he looks and couldn't stop talking about it, A LOT. He was "nasty" to her because he didn't want he to figure out he loved her cause it was too soon. The ending was good, but I think it would have been better if (view spoiler). Loved her BFFs.

I’m loving this series so much, and I think that Ache for You might possibly be my favourite so far. I loved our heroine, Kimber DiSanto, a passionate dress designer, jilted at the alter during her extremely public high society wedding. She’s feisty, with a wonderful temper, and a great right hook. Her luck doesn’t get any better when she has to urgently fly over to Florence to be at her ailing father’s hospital bed. When Matteo Moretti approaches Kimber at the airport he’s not expecting to get shot down so spectacularly and he can’t get the American with the smart mouth out of his mind, he doesn’t even know her name. Lucky for him then that all her bad luck is driving her to stay in Florence, right where he wants her. Wonderful writing, a few little unexpected turns, truly awesome characters and an all around super sexy fairy tale romance. I loved it, most especially the bantering backwards and forwards between Kimber and Matteo, two stubborn, passionate souls with so much chemistry they had me blushing. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

4.5/5 stars I have been looking forward to this book for months and the author did not disappoint. While this is book 3, Ache For You can be read as a complete standalone. I would consider this an enemies-to-lovers novel with lots of humor. I know that the description of the book sounds like a modern remake of Cinderella, but I would necessarily wouldn't call it that. Yes, there are a few elements that are reminiscent of Cinderella's plight, but there are twists too. Nonetheless, this was a very entertaining read.

Kimber is a strong-willed, stubborn heroine who has had a horrible few weeks. I mean horrible. She meets Matteo, a rich fashion designer, and she immediately takes a dislike to him. Matteo, cocky and confident, is intrigued by her sharp tongue and strength. I don't want to spoil anything, but let's just say their relationship is somewhat unconventional at first. Told mostly from Kimber's POV, you do get a few chapters by Matteo and it was good to get insight into his actions and emotions. Both characters are well developed. I loved Matteo. Kimber, I had a little trouble with in the beginning (hence the 4.5 starts instead of 5). She was extremely rude to him. Yes, she had been through a lot, but it felt like she was taking it out on him and he wasn't always deserving of it. That being said, I liked her more as the book progressed. I do love enemies to lovers romances and it was fun to watch how their relationship progress and the chemistry between them was hot immediately after their first encounter. The banter between them was hilarious. The secondary characters were priceless - funny, entertaining, and in some ways, unexpected good guys.

I received this book as an ARC though Netgalley and I voluntarily leave this review.

I can not believe this is the first book by JT Geissinger I’ve ever read, it was so good! I already have book 2, Melt For You on the way to me as we speak. I smiled and laughed throughout the book. This is a slow burn love story with tons of sexy banter.

Kimber DiSanto is having quite a few bad days, she was just left at the altar, she finds out her father had a heart attack so she needed to rush to Italy, finds out about her new stepmother (who she’s coined WS for “Wicked Stepmother) and two “stepsisters” and her business burns down, she does not need any more issues. But of course she has to meet him, Matteo Moretti (Count Egotistical), he is breathtakingly beautiful and she hates him on sight. As much as Kimber fights it, the chemistry between these two are off the charts. And Matteo will do anything to have her.

I loved everything about this book, there are so many secrets, surprises and misunderstandings, but its the hot and, oftentimes, hilarious chemistry these two have that made it so great. I also loved the secondary characters in this book, they were a hoot! I was so lucky to have the chance to read this book early I can’t wait to read book 1 and book 2.

Thank you Netgalley and Montlake Romance for giving me the opportunity to read this complimentary copy. All opinions are my own.

This is Matteo and Kimber book, they are both fashion designers, Kimber gets dumped at the altar then has to rush to her ailing father she keeps meeting up with Matteo along the way, I was definitely iffy about this book until like 40%? But then I started to enjoy it! It's a little Cinderella ish it Kimber is so freaking funny! I really enjoyed her character! It's not my top favorite in this series but it's still worth reading! Thank you NetGalley and Montlake publishers for sharing this book with me!
