I enjoyed this book a lot, as it's funny and cute, and brimming with fantastic chaos. For me though, this instalment felt too similar in its structure to the previous book, though I loved how the main character's relationship with his grandfather developed in this book. Andy Shephard writes super fun books for younger children, and I'll definitely be recommending this series to my younger cousins and the kids I work with.

I loved this story. While being the second in a series, I didn't feel lost or the need to read the first to enjoy this. A perfect read for my 9 year old godson.
