Diese Geschichten machen Mut! Frauen, deren Schicksal sie teilweise sehr gebeutelt hat und die dennoch weder auf- noch klein beigegeben haben.

It is a book focused on women who had bad relationships but you can find interesting aspects too if it is not the case for you. I thought it is a book about women who do wonderful things not especially women who got rid of bad men. I am aware this is the case for lots of women so maybe it is useful for some women.
I have read a lot of these inspirational books but really liked the fact this one is real women with real stories or heartache and struggle and not famous in anyway they just have courageous inspiring stories to make us all realise how lucky we are.
Susie MacKie has put together an excellent array of essayists for this aptly named UK collection, Women of Spirit, and not only that but she is a skillful portrait photographer and writer herself. This book is full of hope, wisdom, great advice, and brilliant quotes.
I learned about adrenal fatigue and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), and I like that the author treats this as a movement rather than just a publishing project. I hope to read a second edition in future. Personally I would have put the sad, last chapter first to set the book on more of an uplifted trajectory, but I fully appreciate the place of honor being given the friend she's so clearly grieving for - it's truly a loving tribute.
A variety of stories that show how strong, resilient, independent women are and how we managed life on a daily basis with many obstacles in our way.
Thanks to NetGalley and Books Go Social for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my honest review.
