An entertaining, with a cast of conflicted sisters and an attractive setting in the Scottish Highlands. The sisters' different characters mean readers are likely to sympathise with at least one more than the others, giving a sense of tension and the opportunity to resolve conflict.

I have yet to read a Sarah Morgan book that I have not absolutely loved and this one was no different. It was a very enjoyable read, following the lives of 3 sisters and the relationships that they have with each other. It also included lots of snow which is an essential ingredient for a Christmas book, in my opinion!

A lovely fluffy Christmas read, love Sarah Morgans books, never fails, with wonderful charecters and a great story

Always a fun read when it’s by Sarah Morgan. Throw in Christmas and the highlands of Scotland and I’m sold.!

A good story with a subtle storyline. Not much happened but it was neat to see how the characters interacted with one another and how they dealt with family dysfunction.

Fun read that I would definitely recommend - such a feel good book that keeps you hooked from the beginning.

I had a catch up of Sarah Morgan's Christmas books over the Christmas period and really enjoyed this book, as I have done most of her previous books. I really enjoyed how the story developed and we understood how the different characters had got to where they were and why. It was great to see that the family could come together for their best Christmas together in a long time and how each of the characters learned to move forward instead of focusing on the events of the past, and no longer allow them to define them. A really enjoyable read,

I enjoyed this Christmas story about three estranged sisters finally making it home to Scotland for Christmas with their parents. The scenery descriptions were stunning and Sarah Morgan managed to make me feel right at home in the cozy lodge by a roaring fire, with a table laden with food.
The sisters all have their love life issues to deal with, and it was lovely to see them all develop individually, and share the reminiscing of their childhood. It reinforces my belief that there is no reality only perception. Everyone in a family sees their childhood differently and unfortunately takes those feelings, disappointments and heartaches into adulthood.
The story is all beautifully tied up with a ribbon at the end, just as the best presents are, and this was a lovely winter weekend read for me. Only dropped one star because the ending was a bit too predictable.

The Christmas Sister is another festive read from @sarahmorganwrites. Thank you to @harpercollinsuk for this ARC via @netgalley.
As you might have guessed it features sisters! Three to be exact - Posy, Hannah and Beth. The three sisters along with their mum Suzanne take turns narrating the story throughout. Posy lives in Scotland and her two sisters travel back for the Christmas period. Each of them are struggling with something they need to tell their family but all of them are unsure how.
This is a very family focussed Christmas story with a subplot around how Suzanne came to be mother to the three sisters and the reveal later on in the book about one of the other characters!
As always I enjoyed Sarah’s writing and felt like I could imagine myself in the midst of this family at Christmastime. Almost every festive book I’ve read this has been set in the UK and I love when they’re set in Scotland!
I could recommend SO many of Sarah’s books you can’t go wrong with any you choose!

Sarah Morgan’s books are timeless. This is a book I read a couple of years ago and enjoyed it so much that I’ve just reread it. A perfect winter read, a heartwarming story, packed full of Christmas spirit.

I've read Sarah Morgan books from early on in her career, and she just gets better. I love a Christmas book and a Scottish setting, so this was perfect for me.

Very good so easy to read fab plot loved characters you there with them in story nice easy to read i nice Christmas book the writing style nice to the point

Sadly I had to DNF this, I wasn't enjoying it at all, the characters were all awful people and the story was dull and not festive at all.

A gorgeous Christmas book that is absolutely perfect for getting into the Christmas spirit! Brilliantly written and a thoroughly enjoyable story.

Warm and cosy read, perfect to get you into the Christmas spirit! Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy.

Who wouldn't love this book!? The characters make you feel you are part of their lives, you experience their highs and lows just as you would in your own lives with the hope that the ending would turn out well for them, after all a fairy tale always does doesn't it? This is a fabulous book, humorous, poignant and a true reflection of modern life. A great read - highly recommended.

Travel to the wintery Scottish Highlands this Christmas with Sarah Morgan's beautifully written book. A story of love and loss, forgiveness and acceptance - this is a great read for the festive period.
Three sisters come home to Scotland and to their adoptive parents - a family reunion that hasn't happened for a long time. With their arrival comes the revelation of secrets, emotions, feelings and hopes and gradually their stories are unpicked throughout the book.
Sarah Morgan describes a beautiful setting woven with Holiday traditions and family values - all ingredients for a brilliantly cosy Winter read.

A Christmas family drama based in the Highlands of Scotland the story follows mum Suzanne who is dreaming of a perfect Christmas with her 3 adopted daughters - 2 of which are travelling home from the States for the holidays.
A fairly pleasant romantic drama following the lives and loves of this family and their three girls who lost their parents in a tragic accident many years ago but not really my thing I'm afraid.
The writing style is good and the setting cosy and seasonal but not my usual type of read unfortunately. A good read though if family dramas are your preferred genre.
Thanks to Netgalley and publishers for the ARC.

A great and heartwarming festive read. I loved this book and Sarah's style of writing. A must read for the winter season.
