A comedic novel that ended abruptly. I don't read too many farces but I think this could be considered one. It was a little silly and I felt like he needed to stand up for himself a lot sooner. He was a very weak person and I couldn't identify with him at all.
The Unravelling of Michael Gilchrist by S C Ashton will appeal to many people, especially brides and their mothers or those dealing with weddings.
It was a farce, a comedy, with overdrawn characters and a lot of silliness. Actually I can see this being made into a movie – there have been several lately in this same genre.

I received this ARC from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
