Mel turns up to the holiday home her husband has rented and when she arrives Luke and the kids are missing. Once the police get involved everything starts to unravel and the perfect marriage is not so perfect after all!

This was such a brilliant read. Definitely shows how wrong you can be about a person. Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for this arc in exchange for my honest review.

I enjoyed this 'drama with a difference', it's an easy read with a storyline that flows well.

The lead character, Mel, arrives at a Lake District holiday cottage, where she is due to join her husband, Luke and 2 children. However, when she arrives late at night, there's no-one at home.

The plot then moves along at pace, taking us on a journey with Mel whilst also telling the story from the perspective of the husband and moving in timelines from present to past. It maintains momentum and I enjoyed it. I found it a tad formulaic at times, but, it's a good read and I'm grateful for Netgalley, Bookoutre and Rona Halsall for the opportunity to preview. Wishing you all much success!

Fabulous, Amazing, Unputdownable. I loved this Author's first book (Keep You Safe) and was beyond excited to read Love You Gone. What a book! When Mel, the wife, arrives at a vacation cabin and finds her husband and children missing, she eventually calls the police. Then the background comes out. Luke was between a rock and a hard place. The twists and turns are amazing and I did not foresee a lot of things that happened. I highly recommend this Author and this book. Patiently waiting for her next one. Thanks to NetGalley, Bookoutre and the Author for allowing me to read and review this book.

Wow what a gripping psychological thriller, a fast paced page turner.... Mel arrives in the Lake District where her husband and two children have gone on ahead of her as she had to work but when she arrives, the lights are on, the door is unlocked and there is no sign of her family, Mel sets into panic mode although settles a bit when she finds a note saying they'd gone for a hike but now it was dark, had they happened upon an accident?

Unfortunately I can't go into much more detail about the series of events that follows and how the book proceeds for fear of ruining it for others but suffice to say you will thoroughly enjoy it, more twists and turns than a rollercoaster, so hold onto your hats and get ready for the ride.

Many thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for an advanced copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

Trigger Warning: Domestic Violence

Wife arrives at vacation home to find her family missing, and the story goes from there. At first, it seems very predictable....missing family, ho hum, but in a very gone girl kind of way, the writer spins the story and things are not what they seem at all.

I read this in about two hours, couldn’t put it down. Thanks NetGalley and Boukouture for the preview.

So I guess you can see I loved the book and totally recommend it ... 4+ stars and my thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for the chance to read the ARC.
