We return once again to the Mercury pack for the story of Bracken and Madisyn and I've got to say this is my favourite of this series so far.

The story is fast paced and although Bracken and his mate decide to take their time en-route to be fully mated, it's easier said than done. Bracken's need to protect Madisyn is a sore spot for the strong independent shifter and she has to develop the ability to compromise very quickly.

As one would expect form mates, they’re very compatible in the bedroom, the dining room table or the lodge's front porch. Suzanne Wright always seems to create characters that everyone wants to read about and the sex scenes are scorching hot. What's not to like?

What can I say about how awesome this book is? I sat up all night, until 4am reading it because once I started it, I was so involved with the characters that I couldn’t put it down! Madisyn is such a fun and snarky heroine. She’s been a favorite of mine since we first met her. The change in Bracken from Zander’s book to this one is heartbreaking. These two were definitely meant for each other.

This is the fourth book in the Mercury Pack Series. Each book can be read as a stand alone but it is best read in order so you get the full enjoyment out of the series.

I really enjoyed this book. In the previous book Bracken has a traumatic event happen to him and this book takes place a few months after that happened. He's changed from those events so he'd not exactly the happy go lucky guy we see in previous books.

I liked the way Wright dealt with the events in his life. He changed due to his circumstances and I liked how he never really went back to who he used to be, I think It's pretty fair to say that anyone that has a traumatic event happen intheir life will not be the same after.

Madisyn was fun. She didn't care what others thought so she was a lot like Roni in that sense. She went her own way and had a sense of honor that she wouldn't stray from. As she and Bracken get to know one another they find comfort and understanding they didn't know they were looking for.

I also liked how this book started with the characters trying to make a go of their relationship from the beginnig of the book. Sometimes it's nice to watch two people dance around each other for a while but I always enjoy a book where the couple spend more time as a couple than they do opposing each other. There is a good plot and subplot in this book. Enemies are made, alliances are forged and the lives of our favorites pact contine to progress. I really enjoy this series and getting to have a little interaction with couples from previous books is always a lot of fun. I look forward to reading more in this world.

I received this ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. 5 stars! This was amazing! I already loved this series and anything this author wrote. This had it all. Two intriguing people who find each other. The two packs come together to fight a foe. I didn’t have much interest in Bracken or Madisyn when I read about them throughout the series but wholly molly they are great. I did feel bad when I read that Bracken lost his family. These feline breeds are so interesting. The humor had me in stitches. The sex scenes! She can really write hot ones! I can’t get enough of this shifter world. Keep it coming. I highly recommend this book and series.

All I can say with not spoil anything is that she has done it again. The author keeps me invested in this characters and all their friends in this serie. I have read all her books, and can’t wait to read more from her. And the different packs and their mates.

I was given this book to give an honest review.

Bracken Slater, wolf shifter and enforcer within the Mercury pack. Bracken hasn't been the same since the anti-shifter extremists gunned down his family at the drive-in. He has made a name for himself when he went after every extremist involved and took out his revenge.

Madisyn Drake, pallas cat shifter with no pack, works at the lone shifter shelter. Madisyn helps hide lone shifters into a new home when needed. When the alpha from a bear clan sent people to find out where she hid a bear shifter named Daisy that he meant to kidnap into his clan, Madisyn's life is threatened when she refuses to give up Daisy's location.

Bracken and Madisyn have known each other for a few years. While they are both attracted to each other, nothing has ever come of the attraction until Madisyn was threatened and Bracken's wolf urges him to protect.

I like how the author brought us a mate story where the couple didn't fight the pull and yet still gave us a slow burn love. Bracken knows he's still messed up over his family. Madisyn's shifter nature has a natural independence and struggles with trust. Due to this, Bracken knows he must move slowly but that doesn't stop him from staking his claim immediately.

This book provided a lot I love and enjoy in my books. The protective and possessive alpha, the independent and sassy heroine, and side characters that add to the overall storyline. I'm enjoying this series and look forward to the next couple.

Another 5 star read!!

I Love this authors writing I always know I’m going to enjoy the book, if she writes it I’ll read it. It was fun catching up with previous characters, they’re all like one big family you feel like you know these characters if you’ve been following this series (If you haven’t then I urge you to do it). Your waiting to see what Greta will come out with next, what cheesy chat up lines are going to come out of Dominic’s mouth, the pranks Ronnie and Eli have played on each other and the bantering between all the characters.

You feel as if your actually there seeing these characters as they grow into there roles and progress within there relationships. Bracken and madisyn are another fabulous addition to the already strong happy mated couples. There is some sadness and with what Bracken went through losing his whole family and I guess losing his own way for a while how could there not be.

But this is broken up with Suzanne Wright’s humour.

The two little girls willow and Cassidy were hilarious it will be interesting to see where the stories of all the kids will take them if they will get there own stories I hope they do. Especially Cain and Cassidy it was sweet him pushing her on the swings I wasn’t expecting that.

I love the wolves but I have to say the margays and Pallas cats are amazing, the little quirks and things that she adds to the animals temperaments and things they like to do ifeels fully fleshed out, it was so sweet that bracken made madisyns cat her own rockery to play in she was so grumpy and cute.

The final battle again had this authors signature humour mixed in with the seriousness of the what was happening, I could clearly picture this big bear covered in grumpy Pallas cats and now I’m gonna go and look them up myself because they seem so interesting.

I can’t wait for the next book

Thank you for providing me with an ARC

Can you give a million star rating to a book?

OMG! This is almost my favourite book from the Mercury pack series.
Bracken and Madisyn fit really well together as a couple. The banter and sass in this book made me really happy.

I love ALL Suzanne's books and i cannot wait for more.

This is the 4th book in the Mercury Pack series by the extremely talented Suzanne Wright and as always I am in total book-heaven while reading this amazing tale. I love Madisyn! She may be my favorite yet, and that's saying something!

Another great installment! I love both the Pheonix and Mercury pack books, and this newest Suzanne Wright book doesn't disappoint. I love that both Bracken and Madisyn are strong characters. And there was the perfect mix of action and romance to keep me interested.

Suzanne Wright never dissapoints!
This book was incredible, maybe not my favourite of the series but I loved it nevertheless.
In Trick's book, we learn that Bracken has lived through a tragedy that killed all his family right in front of him and that he is not doing tha well. I loved how this book showed how sometimes grief changes a person irrevocably and there's nothing that can be done about that, you just have to try to move on with your life. I really liked how Madisyn didn't try to get Bracken to be the person he was before his family was killed because she knew it would never happen and that that didn't mean he wasn't moving foward but just that the situation changed who he was and how he looked at life.
If your a fan of the series, you really shouldn't miss this book cause it's awesome! If you haven't read it yet, you need to stop what you're doing and read it!
All this said, I REALLY CAN'T WAIT FOR DOM'S BOOK!! I can't imagine who will be his mate but I want someone so incredible becuase he is such an unique person!
Thank you Suzanne Wright for once again writting such an incredible book

I received this bool from NetGallery.com in exchange for an honest review.
The characters Bracken and Madisyn were very reliable and were both able to maintain their strength and personalities as the worked through the issues as the created their relationship. They both felt the bond but did not let it define their relationship nor did the deny and run from it. The plot moved quickly and made sense and I enjoyed learning about another shifter species.

As usual, this author delivers another amazing addition to this already stellar series!!!

Madisyn is a feline shifter who has some serious trust issues. It's pretty easy considering her past. She has absolutely no problem being alone, but once she encounters an alpha wolf, things start to take a different sort of shape. One things for sure though, this feline is no docile kitty. She speaks her mind and isn't afraid to let everyone know exactly how she feels. But she's also strong and her strength is exactly what this alpha wolf needs right now.

Bracken is a cocky, arrogant, cold-hearted, alpha wolf. That is until he recognizes Madisyn as his mate. Knowing that this "situation" wasn't going to go away, he figured out what needed to be done to co-exist. But co-existing became way more than that. And now he'll do anything to make sure she's safe.

Was this a little bit "insta-love"? Maybe. But as someone who reads PNR often, it made peeerfect sense. Since both characters were shifters, they knew exactly what being someone's mate meant and went with it. It's the rest of the story that I felt was amazing. The way Bracken gives Madisyn everything she needs. The way Madisyn doesn't coddle Bracken. These two really were meant to be together. Oh...yeah, there's drama and tension and all that...but this is an awesome love story!!!

Loved this book! Suzanne Wright is an automatic buy for me and she continued to deliver with the latest installment of The Mercury Pack series.

I had been heartbroken to hear of Bracken's loss in the previous book so to see him push past his loss and embrace Madisyn as his mate was so special. I loved finally finding out her species and loved that she didn't fold right away. Bracken stepped up to the plate to win her over and make sure she knew she was loved for her. Of course, the struggle for him to keep her protected and not step all over her independence felt real, as well.

I'm so glad that Madisyn got her mate and I'm so glad that Shiloh was not Bracken's.

Another great read by Wright that I have already read twice! Can't wait for Dominic's story next. Hope that Wright will write the next generation after finishing these two series.

Madisyn is a loner who doesn't want to need anyone. Bracken has cut himself off emotionally from everyone after he lost his family. They have known each other for years and did not know they were mates. They fight hard and love harder. Bracken must take it slow or risk losing Madisyn but he will protect her even if she does not agree. This is a great addition to the series and I enjoyed watching two crazy shifter's work through the good bad and crazy to make this relationship grow.

Ok, I have to start by saying I was nervous when I got the chance to read and review this book, for one reason, I was terrified that Ms. Wright couldn't possibly live up to her last book. Well not only did she live up to it she went above and beyond. I loved this book so much that I did something I have never done, I reread it after I just finished it. I love the character's, I love the world she's created and I love how she can make a world of shifters human. This book had everything, action, heartache, friendship, Love, comedy, and heart.
Madisyn Drake is badass, I wanna be her when I grow up.
Bracken Slater I was worried about him because he had a thing for a past character and losing his family. How closed off and receptive would he be to a relationship with someone he had a friemies relationship with. Well WOW she worked around that with no problem. Let me just say also Bracken and Madisyn sexy time is off the charts HOT!
I have read a lot of great books this year but this is my favorite. Again, I read it twice back to back.
Thanks to Netgally and Suzanne Wright for giving me the chance and honor to read this book, for a honest review.

A fabulous 5 Stars!!

Everyone who knows me, knows that I absolutely adore a good paranormal romance book and that I am a huge fan of Suzanne Wrights. She has this ability to where she pulls me deeply into the world she has created. Her characters are amazing, and its impossible not to fall in love with the kick-ass heroines or alpha male heroes. I love all her series, but the Phoenix Pack Mercury Pack books hold a special place since it was my first introduction to her writing. So, I was extremely excited to have the opportunity to read and review her newest book Echoes of Fire. While this book definitively could be read as a standalone, I do highly recommend checking out the other books in both the Phoenix Pack and Mercury Pack series – they are amazing.

Echoes of Fire is the 4th book in the Mercury Pack Series and the story of Bracken Slater and Madisyn Drake. Bracken is an enforcer with the Mercury pack and someone who recently experienced a horrific tragedy that changed his entire world. While Madisyn is a lone shifter who grew up in a shelter for Shifters, she is a loner but closely associated with both the Phoenix and Mercury packs. Since I had been previously introduced to these characters in previous books, I wasn’t sure how the story would play out. My initial impression of Bracken that was he was an extremely loyal to those he loved but that he was a light-hearted playboy, while Madisyn seemed to be very private person who only let a few get close to her.

I was extremely surprised with how this story played out. It had a deeper more intense tone than the other books in this series. And I found that the tragedy that Bracken experienced changed him into a darker character – but not in a bad way. We get to experience an intensity with Bracken that I personally didn’t expect, and I really feel that it added a level of depth to the story. We got to experience first hand the levels of grief and healing that Bracken went through, along with allowing someone else in with the ever-present fear of losing them.

As for Madisyn she is a Pallas cat shifter which is a breed that has not previously been introduced to us before this book and I just about fell over laughing at some of the different descriptions of her breed. Madisyn is a very strong character that while private and independent she didn’t shy away from expressing her feelings and emotions and I just loved her. And some of the scenes where Madisyn got into altercations and fights were just amazing. I still just have this visual in my mind of this tiny cat taking down 3 bears without breaking a sweat and I adored what she did to the wolf who wanted her mate in the break room.

Overall, I felt this book was fantastic. The love story between Bracken and Madisyn was wonderful, I enjoyed being able to see them both get through their own fears and insecurities to find happiness with each other. They didn’t try to shut the other one out and were both very honest with how they felt and put in the effort to make it work. The progression of the story was very believable, and I feel happened at the right pace for these characters. I don’t want to give away too much about this story because I feel that it is something that each reader needs to experience firsthand.

I absolutely loved this book and it is still in my head two days after I finished it to the point where I started reading it for the 2nd time. I highly recommend Echoes of Fire to anyone looking for a fantastic read and rate is as 5 Stars!

I’m such a fan of paranormal romance when it’s done well and Suzanne Wright does it really well! Book 5 of the Mercury Pack spin off follows Bracken and Madisyn. Both loners, both having suffered loss in their lives. I liked how their mating was different.. it definitely follows the pattern Wright has established for this series but it felt different too. Bracken was one of the better Heroes in this series! Alpha to the extreme but also very sweet and desperately trying to understand the mating process. I liked that this book had some new antagonists and stayed away from the extremist storyline. I’m intrigued with the brief mention of Cain and Cassidy and to see if that goes where it could go in the future how that plays out. Sometimes I’m not always a fan of the books humor but it really worked in this book. The conversations with the kids was fantastic!! I love all of Wright’s series so I will absolutely continue to read this.

This was surprisingly, but not surprised, awesome. I really have loved all the previous books in this and other branches of the collective series. I honestly wasn't anxiously awaiting Brackens story, but was excited to read more from this author, but I was wrong about myself, this story was sexy, funny, intriguing and I loved every page!

This is Madisyn and Brackens story. Bracken has had his life turned upside down after the extremist murder his family. He is no longer the man he was and has distanced himself from everyone. Will his true mate be able to pull him out of dispair or even want to try?
