I received an arc from Netgalley. I loved this story between Finn and Renee. I loved how they first met, how she tried to hide herself but he always knew who she was, I loved how she felt so protected she just wanted to crawl into him, and I also loved the connection she had with Joker.
Renee and Finn both lived in the undercover world but in this intense romantic suspense they find true love and one in which they can truly be themselves.
I could not put this book down and would definitely read more by this author.

This is a fast paced murder mystery that grabs you from the first page and never lets you go until you turn that last page I would recommend this book to anyone that loves a great romantic suspense story

The author Mimi Barbour doesn't disappoint with her ability to tell stories that bring emotion, excitement and down right action pack in a nice little wrapping. Readers will finish the book before they even know it and will be wanting more.

This can be read as a stand a lone novel or as part of the series either way Readers will not be disappointed.

O m g this was enjoyable read it had me intrigued and held my attention and I didn’t want to put it down any wait to try more from the author totally recommend reading it

I struggled to get into this book so I found it took a lot longer for me to read than usual. Once it got into the swing of the story I found I became more invested in it and it's characters.

I found Renee a little strange as a character - childlike as an adult with some fairly haunting experiences. And always wearing different wigs or contacts is an interesting way to live.

I didn't engage enough with the book to read more in the series - but I loved the cover.

A well written book. Great plot and characters. I really enjoyed the writing and look forward to reading more books in this series. I received an arc from Netgalley and this is my unbiased review review.

This is a good book didn't disappoint me at all the characters and the plot was right on I had never read his books before but would highly recommend it

This my first book to read by Mimi Barbour. It did not disappoint. Great story and great characters, Kept me turning the pages. The opening chapter really sucks you into the story with professional killers that stage the murders as suicides. The two main characters go undercover as a married couple that hate each other, yet in real-life the chemistry between them is off the charts. If you like suspenseful, undercover, investigative-type books, you will like this one!

A very good and entertaining read. I liked the plot, the cast of characters.
I was hooked since the beginning and couldn't put this book down.
It was fun to read and enjoyable.
