A cute little story about a fox and a goose that become friends when the goose is left behind. Great colorful pictures and nice story.
I received a copy of this arc from NetGalley for an honest review. An excellent picture book about friendship and love.
I liked the bold illustrations and I can see using this book on a lesson on friendship with my pre-kindergarten students or recommending it for our school library.
"When Fox meets a goose who has been left by her flock, he decides to help her catch up with her migrating friends. Fox and Goose go on an epic journey through the city and across the sea, to return Goose to her flock. Once the chase is over, Goose realizes how much fun she's had with her new friend."
A lovely book that my grandchildren and I enjoyed, and the hidden message about friendship and helpfulness was lovely. The illustrations were beautiful and definitely a book to be enjoyed again and again.
Fox comes across a sad Goose, they become two unlikely friends, Fox helps Goose find his flock. It is a very cute book. Very warm. It teaches about friendship and helping.
True Friends is a heartwarming story about true friendship and what you would do for a friend. When Fox meets Goose, she is very sad. It turns out she got separated from her flock and does not know where they have gone. Fox realizes that they have migrated and he assures her that he will get her back to her flock. How far will he go to make his friend happy and keep his promise.
This is a story of an unlikely friendship between a fox and a goose. This would need a discussion about what is real and what is fiction. In this book the students will learn about various types of transportation, discussions about migration would also be an extension of the story. Of course the idea of helping one another and making friends feel better. I really liked the Illustrations in this book, they were adorable watercolour pictures. This story was very touching and heartwarming and it shows what a true friend will do to make you happy. A great book for family, classroom and school libraries. The publisher, QEB Publishing, generously provided me with a copy of this book upon my request. The rating, ideas and opinions are my own.
I loved the illustrations! They were simple but showed the characters well. It is a cute story about Fox helping a lost Goose find his flock. It is an unlikely friendship but has a great message of friendship and perseverance. The friendship message is woven throughout the book but isn’t too over powering. Thank you NetGalley for the free digital copy to review.
A cute story with simple but characterful illustrations. Fox helps goose to catch up with her flock, coming up with new ideas every time they experience an obstacle. At the end of their journey, Fox realises that he has enjoyed spending time with his new friend and they decide to remain friends forever.
This is a warm, hopeful story about friendship and perseverance.
Beautiful illustrations. A cute story about a fox who helps a lost goose find his flock.
Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the eARC
This was a really nice story to read about true friends.
The storyline was easy to follow and the images were just lovely.
Four stars from me for this one.
True Friends is a heartwarming story of an unlikely friendship between a fox and a goose. Fox finds Goose sad when she’s lost her flock. Fox promises to reconnect her with her flock by hauling her in his wheelbarrow. When that didn’t work they tried by train, then by boat, and eventually they reach the flock!
I especially enjoyed the Illustrations of the geese in this story, they were adorable. This story talks about a few different modes of transportation and also touches on bird migration. I think it’s a great preschool title!

A goose has been left by his flock. His fox friend helps him to find them. They go on an adventure looking for the gaggle of geese. After they are reunited, the goose asks the fox to stay with them for the winter.
This is a great story about two friends who help each other out. One, after he is asked and the other without being asked. These are good concepts to introduce to children at this age. The book is not pushy or overdone but casually weaves this theme throughout.
My 4-year-old grandson loved the illustrations and said they were his favorite part because they were colorful.
I received an eBook ARC in exchange for an honest review. That in no way affects my opinion or rating of this book.
Such a cute story about how a good friend will do anything for their friend. Goose lost his flock and Fox does what ever he can to reunite Goose back with his flock. They take a train, climb a sky scraper, and rent a boat to catch up with them, Fox will do anything to make Goose happy.

This book is lovely, the art is simple in style but eye catching and appealing, very cute. The story too is simple about a fox who meets a lost goose and helps him find his flock. Lovely messages about friendship and loyalty and even has discussions and activities at the end of the book which would be useful in playgroups, I would definitely read to my Goddaughter and recommend this for parents.

4 stars.
It was love at first sight with this book. The artwork was simply beautiful! The story was very touching and heart warming and it shows what a true friend will do to make you happy. I loved everything about this book and I would definitely read it to my 2 year old niece. Excellent! Such a cute little picture book.
This is a simple story of a goose who becomes separated from her flock. Fox does his very best to help her catch up and the two have some adventures along the way. Fox is then invited to stay with the flock so the two friends can delay their good-byes. This is a nice tale of how friends help one another and stick together and about how groups can include those who are not like them. This book is enhanced with discussion questions and activities at the end making it a nice read for a toddler story hour.
Thanks NetGalley and Quarto!
