Wow. Now, Adriana Locke is one of my most favourite, auto 1-click authors. If she writes it, I will read it. She is that good. But Tumble, and Dane, Neely and Mia will forever hold a special place in my heart. This book really did get me right in the feels. A perfect mixture of angst, sass, sexiness and a whole lot of southern sweetness!

I was so looking forward to the start of this new series by Adriana Locke and it did not disappoint! This is a second chance romance - Neely comes back home to Dogwood Lane, Tennessee to be with her mom after things don’t go her way with her job in New York. She’s been away for 10 years. She pops into the Dogwood Cafe for coffee on her way into town and not only runs into her old friend Claire but also her old flame Dane. I loved this small town feel. I loved the people, the town. I don’t really want to give anything away but I can’t wait for more. We meet Matt, Hannah, Penn, Claire. Oh and even Neely’s friend Grace in New York - I’m hoping she makes a trip to Dogwood Lane someday! This is such a great book.

I was excited to see a new Adriana Locke book. Neely and Dane's story is one of love, betrayal, and forgiveness. Dane broke Neely's heart around 10 years ago, right before she left their small town to pursue her big city dreams. When a hiccup in her career sends her home to lick her wounds with the mother she loves, she also runs into the man who is behind the reason she hasn't been able to love again.

It's a joy to watch Locke's characters mature as they face challenges and own up to missteps. Dane is a loving, sympathetic character despite being the heartbreaker. His love for family and his small town life is admirable. Neely is a character to respect. She goes after her dreams, but is still vulnerable enough to not be abrasive. She loves with that vulnerability, and it shines through in the way she treats those around her. I thought the way the relationship unfolds was pretty realistic. Beautifully written, this story made me long for small town living.

This is a second chance romance. Neely has come home after quitting her job in New York City to her small town in Tennessee. She prays to not run into her first love, Dane, but she does. She has a love of gymnastics and so does Dane's daughter, Mia. These characters are flawed, but aren't we all. The real challenge will be if Neely finds her true passion in a small town where it belongs! Loved this book! 5 stars

I absolutely loved this book and can't believe this is the first book by Adriana Locke. What took me so long, I am sitting here wondering and that I will most definitely rectify. First this book made me really laugh. It was great and infectious. But I also cried a lot towards the end of this great love story.

Neely and Dane were fantastic and the will they, won't they aspect of this book just kept me sucked in, not wanting to put the book down and hoping with all my heart, that I would read what I wanted at the end. I love second chance, as well as single dad romances and in this book I got both.

There were loads of characters that were amazing in this book and I hope I read their stories soon. But for me Mia was the little sparkle that made the romance that much more special. For a dad to be selfless for me in a story just makes my heart happy. And when they both put her first it makes it so much more.

Tumble for me was a beautiful book, full of hope. It's about people making up for mistakes that they made but never regretting the outcome which I loved. How could you regret a little firecracker of a human.

It's a book I will recommend hugely. What a great read this turned out to be.

When I read the blurb, I knew I had to give this a try. I’ve been wanting to read this author’s work for a long time and I just can’t resist a second chance romance.

Neely is back in her home town looking for some clarity after experiencing an unfortunate situation which led to her quitting her job.
And on her first day back in town, she runs into non other than the bad boy who broke her heart close to a decade ago.

I must admit it took me a while to get into this story but once I did, I was all in.
That said, I’m not so sure I ever quite warmed up to Dane as much as I wanted to. I just couldn’t get past, well, the past. Their history was mostly painted in a negative way with not much focus on the “good times”.
But the author won me over with her words in the present.
I LOVED how it was realistic for them not getting back together right away, and how Neely behaved in a way that was believable.
By then I was eating up all the words and I couldn’t wait to see how things would turn out.

Tumble was a great second chance romance with palpable chemistry between Neely and Dane. I’d would recommend this book.

4 1/2 out of 5 stars

Dane and Neely were high school sweethearts ten years ago. Neely moved on with her life in a major way by going to New York and following her dreams to be a sports journalist. Dane stayed in their small hometown to raise his daughter. I was engaged from the first chapter of the book - the dog laying in the road a great way to introduce just how small the town was and giving excellent foreshadowing of what was coming with the story. I loved Dane and his personality. He was strong and confident, but also such a great dad to a little girl. Neely was a little too stubborn at times, but won me over with the way she handled things in the end.

I have read almost everything by this author and I have to say that she just keeps getting better and better. The stories feel like real-life romance at its best. They make me want to jump in the pages and live in Dogwood Lane right along the characters. I enjoyed the journey that Neely found herself on through this book and wanted her to find what she was looking for as much as she did. I really, really liked how Dane and Neely dealt with things in the end and only hope that the next book will feature a little of their lives as well.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for letting me read this book.
It had everything; close family, great setting, humourous dialogue and likeable characters, but it was that one thing I couldn’t forgive. I wish I could forget it except it made the character very weak in my eyes and made the storyline quite sad at times. I’m glad it was HEA and there was a lot of love and chemistry. It was also very well written, I just felt that maybe he sometimes didn’t deserve Neely.

Move aside Landrys and Gibsons!!!! There is a new man in town!!!!! Dane oh Dane!!!!! I absolutely love single father stories and this one is now at the top of my list. It is set in a small fictional town in Tennessee (the state where I currently live) and the relationship dynamic between Neely and Dane was off the charts. Can these two reclaim the love they had with the help of his child? Read on and find out!!!!!

Adriana Locke can write great romances, with strong plots and wonderful characters that you can't help but fall in love with. Tumble introduces us to a new set of characters that fit these characteristics!

I absolutely loved Dane and Neely (I love their names, too!)! They are so wonderful for each other, and you can't help but root for them to work through their issues and fall in love. But it was Mia who stole the whole show for me- I love love a good story with kids, and Mia was such a treat!

Tumble is a great introduction to Adriana Locke's Dogwood Lane series. I am looking forward to more in the future- especially Penn's story!

Once again this author has knocked it out of the park. I loved it! This novel grabbed me and would not let me go until the very last page. It was sooo good! Dane and Neely are awesome. I loved the chemistry between these two. The dialogue and the banter were exceptional. I love when a novel can make you smile, laugh out loud and leave you with a smile on your face and feeling great. This novel did all of these things for me. I loved it! I did not want this novel to end.

Tumble is a sweet and sexy small town romance that will give you all the feels. Dane & Neely together were just incredible. They didn't end things when they were younger on the best of terms, but those feelings that had always been between them were still there. It took them some time to give in to those feelings, but the two of them together really were inevitable. And how cute was Dane's daughter, Mia? Oh my goodness, I just adored her.

Adriana Locke truly created such a refreshing and charming town in Dogwood Lane, and I didn't want my time there to end.

It has been a long time since I read a book by Adrianan Locke and she nailed it with this book. Tumble is the perfect start to a new series and couldn’t get enough of these characters. If you are looking for a sweet second chance romance this book is what you need.

Neely had the job she loved and was living the life in New York. She decided to come home for a visit to figure out where to go next after quitting her job. It has been a long time since she came home for a visit. She never expected to see her ex, the one she gave her heart to. She was suppose to come home see her mom and relax but things never go as planned.

Dane is a single dad and hard worker. He never thought he would see Neely again and that old feelings would come back. He thought she was gone and that was it. Dane didn’t expect his daughter to like her. They both made mistakes in the past although Dane’s affected how their future turned out.

I was drawn to these characters and hoped Dane and Neely would find a way back to each other. This was the perfect small town second chance romance.

Tumble starts a new series by author Adriana Locke, a book I read in one sitting and finished with a smile on my face. In this new universe I came across some of my favorite themes in a single book:

Single father ✔
Second chances ✔
small town✔
A lovely teenager ✔
Charismatic characters ✔

Neely left her hometown ten years ago with a broken heart and never looked back until after a professional disillusionment she made her come home after so many years and to meet Dane, her first love and the one who broke her heart years ago .

I liked the story of these two characters, I think the feeling between them was always there and the author was able to show it very well. My only problem was with their past, I finished the book not understanding Dane and not knowing for sure how I felt about it. I think his actions in the past made it impossible for me to like him more.

The secondary characters in this story each won my heart and hope to see them in the next books in this series. But what won my heart even was the relationship of Mia and Neely, it was impossible not to fall in love with the bond and affection that these two created by one another.

Tumble is a sweet story of second chances, a promising start to this series leaving me wanting more.
