Quirky, colorful and adorable (as adorable as zombies and werewolves can be anyway). Love the real life monster hunter feel and the colorful illustrations. This would be good for older middle school to high school kids and fun loving adults. We ordered a copy for my library.

Handily, not just a zombie survival guide, but covers all nasties supernatural and fantastical. The pulp comic art is lovely to look at and overall makes for a fun read. Would make an excellent stocking filler for a younger reader.

How to Survive a Zombie Attack gives you the most basic information about zombies and other monsters. Read this and you just might have a chance at surviving a zombie attack, an alien invasion or maybe even an encounter with a vampire.

I liked the fact that the book is about more than just zombies. All the well-known monsters are described in a clear and understandable way. The amount of information that is given is just right so you can take it all in and remember everything. The artwork is also great. It gives a very retro vibe. I didn't like the photographs that are used at certain points. They didn't really fit with the artwork that is used throughout the book.

This book gives you a good introduction to various kinds of monsters. Little teenage me would have absolutely loved this book. If you are one of those people who is very much into vampires, zombies, aliens etc. this book probably holds no new information for you.

What's not to like? A funny and entertaining (as well as visually compelling) text that offers insight into the stuff of creative nightmares and imaginative horrors. I liked how the book is organized with flashy text features and the authors took their time crafting a finely illustrated and amusing work. A recommended gift for the monster hunter in the family.

They include ideas for survival kits, weapons, information on historical sightings and lots more, wrapped in a fun, conversational style and illustrated with plenty of comics and cool pictures. Kids will enjoy it, and they'll learn a little bit as they go. A nice book.
