I thought the last Mrs Parrish was gripping
But WOW - what a thriller this is
As the plot thickens, the secrets, lies and betrayals start unfolding you are hooked
There is no putting the book down
Until you know the chilling and compelling ending

A must holiday read

This psychological thriller differs from the rest of the genre because the setting and characters are very wealthy. Not the usual sort of book I read, but I did enjoy their comfortable and glamourous lifestyles. The story is based not on who committed the murder, but who is terrorising the victim's daughter. Just about every character is accused at some point, and the ending is not unexpected. However, this book kept me entertained and it will be a great holiday read.

I really enjoyed this book. Plenty of twists and turns to keep me enthralled. Second guessing myself throughout. Never even came close to guessing the murderer. Would definitely recommend this novel. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the chance to review it.

I absolutely loved the guilty pleasure that was The Last Mrs Parish so I had high hopes for The Last Time I Saw You . I certainly wasn't disappointed . It's pacey , entertaining and I raced through it . Dr Kate English has it all it would seem , handsome husband , beautiful daughter , loving family but all that changes one day . Her Mum is murdered and it seems that the murderer is now targeting Kate . Her estranged friend Blaire comes home to attend the funeral and they reconnect and as Kate starts spiraling into paranoia and terror her friend starts to investigate the murder . Brilliant twists , a whole load of suspects I loved it . Pull up a chair , pour yourself a drink and lose yourself in this book !! 5 stars from me

I loved Liv Constantine’s last book, The Last Mrs Parrish, so when I was invited to review the latest book The Last Time I Saw You, I knew I was going to enjoy it. This book is billed ‘as an addictive novel filled with shocking twists about the aftermath of a brutal high-society murder’ and it certainly lives up to that premise. This book has it all: secrets, lies and twists and turns galore. Great characters and a plot line that draws you in and keeps you entertained to the end.

I can highly recommend this book and would rate it 4.5 stars. Thank you to NetGalley, Harper Collins UK, Harper Fiction and the author for the chance to review.

Firstly, I must make the point that the debut novel “The last Mrs Parrish” was superb, so I was delighted to have the opportunity to read and review this novel. It didn’t disappoint and messed with my head. I was frustrated and flummoxed trying to figure out the killer and the motive for the murder of Lily. Is the motive greed for her money, jealousy or revenge? The motives fitted most of the people surrounding Kate. They quietly seethed with secrets, old jealousies and greed, so it was like looking for a needle in a haystack. The main theme is that our past shapes the present and future for the bereaved daughter Kate and her old “friend” Blaire. Blaire, a crime writer, acts as a sleuth to discover the truth and the façade puts her in potential danger. Her animosity towards Simon, Kate’s husband is intriguing as well as the interaction between characters. .At one point I wondered if Kate was delusional. Some odd things were happening which made it seem that way, and it is compelling reading. The murder turned a lot of lives upside down, and the ending spirals out of control, and I didn’t see it coming. WOW!!! My only trivial criticism is that I thought the Prologue was superfluous – perhaps intended to hook us into the story, but the first chapters did that without a doubt. I couldn’t put it down. The endearment “sweetie” used toward Annabelle felt over-used. Thank you to NetGalley and Harper Collins for an excellent read. This perceptively written book will stay with me.
