The Town with No Roads is a powerful story of forgiveness on many different levels. I felt very emotionally connected with all the characters. And I was compelled to keep turning pages to find out how it would all turn out. I loved it. I highly recommend it.
The world needs more stories like this one! It’s a powerful story of forgiveness on many different levels.
I am only giving it a 4 because there were times when a new section began too abruptly and I couldn’t place where the characters were. Also because it felt too choppy, the way the story was told from so many characters’ points of view. There was also one scene (43% of the way thru according to my Kindle) where the conversation began between Claire and Jamison, but the ending of that scene was of Claire and Aspen. That was totally jarring to me.
However, I truly felt emotionally connected to Jamison and to Aspen, along with Holly and Claire. And I was compelled to keep turning pages to find out how it would all turn out.
Thanks to NetGalley, the author and publisher for an advanced reading copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
