My thanks to J C Harroway, Mills and Boon and NetGalley for the opportunity to read FORBIDDEN TO WANT. No- strings sex seems to be the perfect answer for the intense attraction between photographer and film-maker, Mia Abbot and businessman, Kit Faulkner when his hotel group hire her to create a professional promotional film. There is no question about the quality of her work, but when Kit meets her he wonders about the her quality in bed. Mia is aware of the electricity between them, but she has a rule she has never broken; no relationships, ever. Kit, a good-looking, billionaire has the same rule since he lost his wife. He hasn't come to terms with her loss, and his laissez-faire attitude to his work hasn't gone unnoticed by his brothers who he shares the business with. Will one night of the hottest sex they've ever experienced be enough for them, or will they accept that rules are sometimes meant to be broken?
I like this novel...a lot, and enjoyed the thoughts coming from both main protagonists. It overflows with sexual tension, the will-they, won't they the main driver and loved the ending. Four stars.
It promised to be hot and steamy, and it did not disappoint. Not just that, but I appreciated the main characters and the depth they were given.
I did drop a few stars because we only seemed to see the characters only when interacting with each other, in their bubble and therefore the deepness of their connection felt almost forced as all they seemed to be interested was in sex (which I don't have a problem with). I was also annoyed because the main female character seemed to take forever to come to certain conclusions which made the book feel too drawn out.
Overall it was a good read, entertaining and I would read this author again.
I received a copy of this book from Mills and Boon via NetGalley in return for an honest review.
Kit has been heart broken from the sudden death of his wife that he resist any other relationship till he meet Mia who also doesn't want any relationship. He fell in love with her and hope she feels the same, but Mia want to spread her wings. I really enjoy reading this book.

Book Review: Forbidden To Want by JC Harroway
Forbidden To Want (Mills & Boon Date) is written by JC Harroway and is the first in the Billionaire Bachelors mini series.
Mia Abbott is the strong willed, independent but emotionally scarred heroine. As a consequence of her past she is a total commitment phobe. Kit Faulkner is the tragically widowed handsome billionaire who is struggling to come to terms with the death of his wife. Just like Mia he is emotionally scarred. Kit’s personal assistant has just resign due to Kit’s obnoxious behaviour, so when Kit’s brother introduces him to Mia he assumes she is potentially his new assistant. She isn’t. She is there to produce a short promotional film. There is definitely chemistry between the pair but due to their respective emotional baggage a relationship is definitely not on the cards, their one rule is no romance, but they find a one night stand isn’t enough. Can they overcome their issues and make a relationship that lasts?
A novel that is charged with lust, sex and romance. A great read for a few hours of escapism as the main characters travel through a journey of angst, highly charged sexual chemistry, sex and a refusal to accept that a relationship might not be that bad! This book reveals how the past has the potential to shape the future unless that person is prepared to challenge and question it. It is written in the first person which I do not normally enjoy but nevertheless I liked this book and look forward to reading the others in the series.
I received this book via Netgalley and Mills and Boon in exchange for a honest review. I am a #MillsAndBoonInsider #netgalley
Why is it, you always want most the thing you're forbidden?
When independent, driven, emotionally scarred Mia meets damaged, grieving, hurting Kit, they discover a no-strings sexual encounter is not the simple solution. A high-charged emotional story, 'Forbidden to Want' is full of angst, heat and hope. Set against glamourous billionaire lifestyle background this story is a great escapist read if you enjoy your romance emotionally raw and sensually hot.
Something to keep you warm in the cold winter nights ahead, well- written sensual romance.

Forbidden To Want Dare is my second book from the Dare collection. And I can't wait to read more books from the Dare collection. Forbidden to Want tells the story of grieving widower Billionaire Kit in London who is thirty part-owner of the family business with his brothers. Kit with an air of authority has lost his personal assistant from his behaviour. When beautiful Mia Abbott from New Zealand is introduced to him by one of his brothers he immediately thinks his brother has replaced his assistant, but Mia is there to make a promotional film. Chemistry happens, but will Kit and Mia become a couple? J.C Harroway has delivered a story that makes think about a being a widower, and being over powering in authority, with trying to change to make a new female friend.
A great enjoyable read kept my attention from start to finish and I’d recommend reading it the author had a way with words that had me hooked can’t wait for more
A sexy romantically intense, emotional story with hot erotic moments. You might curl up with this story and a hot drink but you will soon need a cold one to follow.
A good pleasurable read.
