The first half of this book is a little slow to get going, but it's worth perservering! A great thriller with plenty of twists and turns. The characters are well written and the ending is a real surprise!

Such an enjoyable read
A good thriller filled with surprises. The ending was a huge shock
Very well written and a huge page turner
The first half is a little slow but the second half is much better

A thrilling read full of twists and turns and with well written characters. The plot is intense and fast paced, yet easy to read. I would definitely recommend this book.
My thanks to NetGalley the publisher and the author for allowing me the opportunity to read an advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

I would firstly like to thank Netgalley and the publishers for allowing me the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.
A thrilling read that had me engrossed from beginning to end! Full of shocking twists and turns, brilliantly written characters and a plot that never got dull, I definitely reccomend this one. Looking forward to reading this author's next!

This was a pretty enjoyable read. It did actually surprise me and I found it well paced and would definitely read more by Camilla!

If you had asked me to rate 'Who Killed Ruby?' after I was 90% through, I'd have been raining stars down on this novel. Unfortunately, I'm giving it 3 and even that feels generous.
I love thrillers, there's no getting away from that. I was always going to enjoy this and read it fairly quickly. The plot is intense and fast-paced and keeps you second-guessing everything. That is all I can ask for in a good thriller.
It was all helped along by a cast of characters who were easy to empathise with and were, generally, well fleshed out. The dynamics between the characters and their relationships with each other were written really well.
Which makes it all the more sad that the ending just completely threw that incredibly good set-up away, for the sake of a twist. Now if you've read this book, you might think I'm talking about the reveal of the killer, but no, I mean the other twist. Without spoiling, it was completely absurd to have this character be who they were and act the way they acted. It was a poor twist that not only ruined my enjoyment but ruined the characters in this book I had considered to be somewhat intelligent.
Who Killed Ruby? is definitely a fun read and if you go into it expecting a rather silly ending, I'm sure you'll be a little more pleased than I was when I finally finished it. I know a lot of thrillers verge into the ridiculous when it comes to twists but this one didn't work at all.
Thanks to HarperCollins UK and NetGalley for providing me with a copy for review.

The start to this book gripped me and I had to keep reading To find out what had happened to this family.
Definitely worth a read. Many thanks to the publishers and netgalley for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this book! It drew me in and enthralled me with the twists and turns. A true tale of love and redemption.

I found myself struggling to explain my thoughts on this.
I found this too slow for my liking. Having the main part not start until around 50% felt like it took too long. I had already spent half the book waiting for something to grip me.
Although I didn't see the reveal coming I also felt like the ending wrapped it up too cleanly. No repercussions for the real killer. Which I hated. At least do something. No just let them get away with it because a different crime happened.

I actually couldn’t put this book down but I felt some of the characters were not explored enough I figured some of the ending but the way it was written there was no way you could see how it would end though thinking back you can see how it will end a throughly enjoyable book I would definitely recommend it

4.5/5⭐ !!
Thank you #NetGalley for an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Is there a more appealing title? As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to read it!
I had read and loved a Camilla Way book before and I was very excited about reading a book of hers again and although my expectations were quite high, I wasn't dissapointed.
The book starts with a murder and straight away goes back 2 months to explain how they got to that situation where someone was killed.
I loved that mystery! I was soo looking for finding out what had happened and who had done it!
The book was narrated on its totality by Vivienne, Ruby's sister and although at the beggining I found the book a bit slow with loads of stories about her past, I really enjoyed this book!
I also liked Vivienne. She had such a difficult life with a broken family and a few tragedies at her back but I admired the way she went through everything and got over it.
Soon the story got more and more mysterious and I started to get a bit paranoid and doubt everyone! I thought every single man in Viv's life wanted to hurt her and I couldn't see why!
She is such a nice woman, why would someone want to hurt her so badly? Why did some of her acquaintances take advantage of the situation? Why isn't her mum supporting her fully?
I was becoming a bit stressed about it all. I had so many questions and I couldn't understand what was really happening!
The last 40% of the book was a crazy rollercoaster of emotions. It was so intense, so suspenseful, so good that I couldn't put it down.
It was another great book by Camilla Way. I can't wait to read other of her books

Well written, full of twists and turns, keeps you guessing until the end. Enjoyed this book and would recommend you to read it, you won't be disappointed.

Standby to be totally emmersed in this book. Viv's sister Ruby is killed by her boyfriend and on her account at that time is put away for her murder. All is not what is it seems. She has had niggling doubts and when her own daughters life is at stake she has to try and face her own demons and uncover what really happened on that day before it's too late.
I really enjoyed this book and will look forward to reading more from this author.

A fantastic unputtdownable story.
Vivienne lives in Peckham with her daughter Cleo, her mother Stella living close by running a refuge for people in need. 20 years ago Vivienne’s 16 year old sister Ruby was murdered only days away from giving birth both Ruby and her unborn baby were killed, Vivienne’s evidence put Tim, Ruby’s boyfriend in prison. Tim had always denied the murder and when strange letters and dead flowers turn up on the anniversary of Ruby’s death Vivienne is frightened that Tim is after her.
A great book with lots of twists.

This is a psychological thriller that has a steady pace but then it kicks up a notch and lots of things happen all at once.
Thirty two years ago Ruby was killed and when it happened, Vivienne who was 8 years old, was there at home with her.
A man was arrested and Vivienne says he was the last person she saw going into her sister’s room but the beginning of the book puts a question mark over his guilt.
Strange things start happening around Vivienne and soon another person she loves is in danger.
This is a well written thriller with a satisfying ending.
Thanks to Harper Collins UK and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.

A complicated thriller involving family and friends which moves swiftly to a very surprising ending. I hadn't a clue.

This is an amazing book, the plot is great, the characters are some of the most intriguing I have read about, many twists and turns I didn't expect. Would recommend this book to anyone.

A good read to have in your suitcase for a holiday. The story keeps you guessing as it goes between the time that Ruby was killed to the present day . A surprise ending . Well worth a read

Viv has had a traumatic childhood. She was only eight years old when her much loved older sister Ruby and her unborn baby were murdered and it was Viv iwho found them. She testified to the police that Ruby’s boyfriend Jack was her killer and he was convicted even though he constantly protested his innocence and vowed to seek revenge. Over thirty years later Viv, her daughter Cleo and her mother Stella are still affected by the tragedy. The opening chapter of the book draws you in as the three of them are standing over the body of a dead man, is he Ruby’s murderer? The book then takes us back over the previous two months that culminate in his death and also events that lead to Ruby’s murder. On the anniversary of Ruby’s death Viv starts to receive mysterious packages which leads her to thinking that Jack had tracked her down. She is still having nightmares about Ruby’s death and is starting to doubt whether Jack was guilty. Alongside this is Cleo’s story. She is fourteen years old and she starts messaging a supposedly fourteen year old boy on her phone unbeknown to Viv. Cleo ends up being kidnapped and Viv is forced to face her demons and relive that eventful night thirty years ago. I thought this book was a brilliant psychological thriller, with interesting characters and a plot that will keep you guessing until the end. An excellent read.
Thanks to NetGalley and Harper Collins for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.

Vivienne's teenage sister, Ruby, was killed when she was just a child. The only witness to the murder, Vivienne gave evidence and the murderer, Jack Delaney, was locked away. However, the Delaney family have always protested his innocence and, as she gets older and distant memories return, Vivienne starts to have niggling doubts in her testimony. When her own teenage daughter is in danger, can Vivienne unravel everything and solve the mystery in time to save her and establish Who Killed Ruby?
I thoroughly enjoyed this latest thriller by Camilla Way, having previously read another book by her - The Lies We Told. The story begins gradually, with the backstory to Ruby's murder gradually being revealed. There were so many possible suspects and I went this way and that, suspecting one after another. When the true killer was revealed, I was completely shocked. Fabulous page turner (I literally read it in a day), excellent story and an explosive ending - everything you could want from a book..
