I liked this funny and entertaining book.
It's well written, the cast of characters is likable and relatable, the plot engaging.
It was the first book I read by this author and I look forward to reading other.
Recommended!
Many thanks to HQ Digital and Netgalley for this ARC
I loved this delightful little romantic comedy! Raisin has written the perfect cozy read for a cold winter day. Looking forward to more from her!
I loved this book. A little predictable but then aren’t all books in this genre. Lovely characters and setting. My first from this Author
I just did not like this book. It had a very trite and predictable beginning. The friendship between Rosie and Aria happened way to quickly. Unbelievable.
I loved this book! Having only read one of the authors previous novels I forgot just how beautiful her stories are! Let me tell you, I will certainly be purchasing more of her books (in bulk) after reading about Rosie's life as she sets off on an adventure that changes her life. This is a heartwarming, funny, and brilliant read. It will be going straight to my favorite books of 2019 lists and I hope many readers will give it a try!
I have read hundreds of books where the main character suffers heartbreak, goes out on her own, and opens a cupcake shop/book shop/clothing shop to find herself and find love along the way. So, when I began Rosie's Travelling Tea Shop, I was expecting a book just like the others. However, this novel really stands above the rest in this genre. Rosie opening up a Tea Shop while taking on a nomadic lifestyle really adds an interesting, and truly captivating, perspective on a well-known story. I loved this book, and I kinda want to go live in a van now (though van living with a husband, two kids, a dog, and a hamster doesn't seem nearly as idyllic). I can't wait to read more by this author!
I received this book free from NetGalley in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
Thank you for the early copy!
A fun and well-written novel. I will be checking out more from this author in the future!
MY REVIEW
‘The real gift, as I’m coming to learn, is the people in your life, the friendships you nurture, the people you give your heart to. That can’t be bought.’
Rosie is heartbroken, her husband tells her it’s over, on her birthday of all days. In a drunken state she purchases ‘Poppy’ a fuchsia pink camper van with a half formed idea of roaming the countryside, selling tea and cake.
However, this is exactly what she does and Rebecca Raisin’s wonderfully descriptive writing makes me wish I could join Rosie at her Travelling Tea Shop and drink one of her rose tea blends and eat cake.
She meets the marvellous Aria and makes a real friend, a book worm and fellow Van Lifer. There is the mysterious Ollie, the online ‘friend’ who could be a romance as he seems to know Rosie so well, a soulmate?? Then there is Max, the Jason Momoa lookalike, a tattooed vegan Adonis with a heart of gold.....or is he a player?
There are tears, fears and after 6 espresso martinis, a bit of mud wrestling in this wonderfully, bright, sparkling, witty romance. I loved every minute and can thoroughly recommend it.
I would like to thank the Rebecca Raisin, the Author/the Publishers/NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book for free in exchange for a fair and honest review

A must for fans of Carole Matthews and Cathy Bramley. It’s a five star from me!
Easy to read, great for a Sunday afternoon read with a large cup of tea and a slice of cake, you will not be disappointed.
Rosie comes home on her birthday to find her husband packed up and ready to announce he is leaving her. After he leaves she turns to a bottle of wine (been there done that girl) and ends up buying a pink traveling shop after researching tiny living. Rosie quits her job as a sous chef at a Michelin-starred restaurant and hits the road in her pink camper van named Poppy. Rosie is a kind of a hot mess when she starts the journey which made me love her so. She's heartbroken and lost and totally relatable.
At her first stop she meets a Aria and they develop a lovely friendship. Aria is a traveling bookstore owner and they quickly form a partnership. (Tea and books is a lovely combination.) They have the cutest friendship throughout the book and I truly loved seeing their friendship bloom. They bond over tea, books food, and such real moments and I mean what could be a better combination?
Also the love interest is swoon worthy and is always watching out for his lady.
If you are looking for a super adorable book that is pure and lovely, pick this book up. It is going to be released March 3, 2019.
Thank you NetGalley and HQ Digital for an early copy this book that I have reviewed honestly. <3
Rosie's Travelling Tea shop is a hoot with treasured nuggets of wisdom and whimsy. The Aquaman reference simply cinched it for me. Loved it.
Rosie's Travelling Tea Shop was a cute and fluffy story. I enjoyed the unique setting and side characters. Max and Aria were delightful and really brought out the best in Rosie. I liked reading about the Van Lifers and what life on the road is like. I wasn't too keen on the ending or Rosie's character (she was just not my kind of person), but there were a lot of sweet moments, heartfelt conversations, and parts that made me laugh out loud. Rosie's Travelling Tea Shop was a wonderfully cozy read that would be perfect for a pick me up.
Really enjoyable read about Rosie and her travelling tea shop.
Rosie has a role in a top London Michalen starred restaurant. She is married to Callum and owns a home with him, Until she gets home late after work and instead of wishing Rosie a Happy Birthday, Callum declares their marriage is over.
A few days later Poppy the pink camper van is purchased and after tying up loose ends Rosie and Poppy venture into the wold of wandering. She sparks up a friendship online with Oliver a person who is helping her with the practical elements of van life and on her first day she meets Aria.
She quickly establishes a travelling tea shop to sell food she loves. On the way she meets Max and other van lifers.
A good story, interesting and likeable characters.
Thanks to Netgalley, the author and publisher for the opportunity to read in exchange for an honest review.
I adored this book! The main character of Rosie was so beautifully developed! I found myself falling in love with the notion of taking to the road and becoming a 'van-lifer'!
So much of this book is written in a warm and comforting tone. I loved snuggling up and reading this, not being able to put it down. If you are looking for a pick me up type read, this is one I would highly recommend.
What a feel-good story! Rosie navigates through a series of disasters and mishaps, learning life lessons and making friends along the way, with faithful Poppy. I loved it so much that I wanted to resume the nomadic lifestyle myself! It's an amazing way to live, and highly recommended to everyone, even if you can only do it for a few weeks....Rosie quickly reaps its benefits. I was a little baffled by one of the characters, whose only real purpose, it seemed, was as a misdirect. The ending was abrupt, but still beautiful, and I wondered where they will venture to next....
I've always wanted to travel around in a pink van! Rosie, although not by choice, goes on a grand adventure. It's the best thing that could have happened to her. Cute and fun, readers of sweet little romance stories will love this book! Thanks to NetGalley for an arc in exchange for an honest review.
Rosies Travelling Tea Shop was such a delightful read, I absolutely loved Rosie and Max, what a great idea for a story, I enjoyed every minute of it.
After Rosie's husband leaves her for another woman because Rosie is too dull and predictable, she goes out and buys an RV, deciding to create a mobile tea shop that she can take around to the British fairs and festivals. She meets Aria, a woman with a traveling bookshop, and a perfect friendship and business arrangement is born. Who doesn’t like a good book with a tasty snack and a cup of tea? This was such a fun book, watching Rosie come out of her shell and into her own as she travels the countryside meeting new people and making new friends. A lovely story to counteract the always gloomy daily news.
The premise of this novel sounds SO cute. I truly wanted to dive into this story and be utterly charmed—but the formatting was incredibly rough and made reading super tedious.
Terrible spacing (as in sometimes the space between words didn’t exist), the formatting in paragraphs was way off so it made tracking who was speaking very difficult. I really wanted to read more because the story conceit sounds right up my alley,
As such I can’t give it a true rating because I’m sure I’d enjoy it if I were able to actually read through it without getting a headache. The three stars is for the formatting.
Oh this was over far too soon, that’s my main thought, actually no, my first thought was I need a Max ! This Is a really lovely pick me up book, pick me up in the sense you don’t want to put it down and also in that it lifts your mood. I loved the characters so much and this is the first book I’ve read by Rebecca Raisin but I will definitely be reading more now. This is a bright ray of sunshine , my only tiny criticism was it felt a bit slow to start but once it got going it was fun !
