Wow what a clever book! I loved it even more than the first book by this author. Would highly recommend this amazing thriller.

A twisty thriller that had me gripped from the beginning, this was a book I couldn't put down. The character of Aimee is very well written, and the book flows well between the past and present. I liked the way this was used to give the reader insight into Aimee's childhood, but I have to say because of certain events I found some of the passages uncomfortable to read.
The story was fast paced, and I think having Aimee as an actress added an interesting layer of doubt as to how much she really knew about what had happened to her husband. The ending was chilling and twisted, and not something that I saw coming! Overall a very good read
Thank you to Netgalley and HQ UK for my ARC in exchange for my honest review

Thank you NetGalley, author and HQ for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I really enjoyed the pacing, writing and the characters. I liked that the different timelines were very easily distinguishable, and I felt connected to both young and old Aimee.
The narrative's theme is very similar to the current suspense thrillers out there and sadly failed to surprise me to my core; having said that the final twist was shocking due to the nature of it. I would rather the scene in the old house did not happen, and I'm currently working on erasing it from my mind. 🤦
Having said all the above, once I finished I Know Who You Are it left me feeling like I've read a good one; it kept me on the edge of my seat throughout, and although it made me sick in the certain chapter, it threw twists at me from every angle and I was definitely entertained by the book.
It's a 4 out 5 from me.

Wow where do I start? From the first page I was hooked and read it in 2 days.
Aimee Sinclair a shy actress, comes home from her film shoot to discover her husband is missing and the police think she is responsible. Her bank account has been emptied and closed and the CCTV Images show that it was Aimee, herself, that did it, but she doesn’t remember. Has she chosen to forget what happened?
The story flicks from the present day to a past traumatic childhood and although you have your thoughts, its not until much further on that you discover who’s childhood tale is being told or why it may be relevant to the present day story.
There are many twists and turns and I found myself flicking back to reread sections to try and find the answers but no amount of retracing my footprints, would have taken me to the conclusion! I’m still not sure whether i was disappointed with the ending or if I was just completely shocked (and maybe sickened) but all in all it was a a fantastic read and I would give it 5 stars.
I am not familiar with the authors work but i would certainly be interested in trying her other novels and will definitely be recommending this book to Friends!

Absolutely brilliant - without hyperbole it was one I couldn’t put down! Definitely on my “read again” pile there were so many twists that I couldn’t predict the end. Possibly slightly rushed in some parts, but that only led to the feeling of breathless reading.

OMG!! This book was such an undroppable thriller. It's a bit on the "unrealistic" side but it's so much good fun and in mystery/thriller genre it's the perfect book.
Aimee's husband is missing, and things are off between them. Then bang! Someone emptied Aimee's bank account- but the bank says it's her. She's sure she didn't do that!
Then the story starts to develop and we get to know Aimee, she is a recently famed actress; she had a woman stalking her and she have a few "bitchy" connections. It goes between past and present, we see how Aimee lived as a child (not giving details for the sake of not spilling spoilers but believe me she had a hell of a childhood)
As we reach the truth step by step the story does accelerate, I read that in holiday and although I was dead tired I stayed up late to finish! That says all I think..
Recommended for thriller fans!

Aimee Sinclair comes home from her latest film shoot to discover her husband is missing. She’s not too worried after their fight, but when her card gets declined she starts to become suspicious. After being informed by police it was in fact her who closed the account, she wonders if her childhood forgetfulness has returned. Did she kill her husband and not remember, or is Aimee innocent?
Alice Feeney writes well and this book drew me in fairly quickly. I really wanted to find out about Aimee as a character and learning about this through her perspective was really intriguing.
Unfortunately the twists, some of which I guessed some I couldn’t possibly have guessed, got more bizarre. At the end I felt truly grossed out. Many of the flashbacks I had felt really drawn in to finding out the relevance to the story felt a little useless and I was left wondering why I had spent so much time on this novel.
Thank you to HQ for providing me with an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I do love a good thriller, but this one did’t quite do it for me. Maybe it was a little bit too focussed on delivering a big twist at the end, but parts of it worked better than others. The story is told in two timeframes, with one in the present day and one revealing what had happened in the narrator’s past. Those set in the past were intriguing and well paced, but the present day element felt a little bit hollow somehow. However, it’s a solid and fast paced thriller, and I have seen a lot of positive reviews, so maybe it just wasn’t for me.

I know who you are follows Aimee Sinclair an up and coming actress following the disappearance of her husband. As events unfold Aimee begins to wonder whether she can trust her own memory or whether the police are right to suspect her.
This was an enjoyable thriller that kept me guessing throughout. I thought I had the story figured out a number of times but each time the author added a new twist which definitely kept the story interesting.

This started very promisingly, with an actress on the verge of stardom coming home to find her husband has disappeared. She’s clearly hiding something, and as the story progresses we learn more about her childhood. For me, there were then too many overly convoluted twists in the tale - it felt like author had packed too many in, which was a shame because I loved the opening.

I found this reasonably enjoyable but really didn’t like the ending. Although it was clever and unexpected it wasn’t really believable and the motivation seemed a bit flimsy.
The beginning of the book reminded me a lot of Gone Girl, in that it looks like one thing has happened but the protagonist is telling you something completely different. I did like the gradual revealing of Aimee’s past but felt that there were too many unanswered questions.
To sum up, I thought it was ok but have enjoyed other similar stories more.

What a fabulous book to read over the bank holiday weekend! I used the lovely long weekend to really gobble up this story and what a book it was! I've become a bit disappointed by the 'thrillers' I've read of late but I was really impressed by Alice's offering. I like that the chapters switched between present-day Aimee to 6-year-old Aimee and it certainly helped you understand Aimee as a character and why she was how she was. Sure, she could be frustrating at times but I still quite liked her, even if I didn't completely trust her throughout the book. I also enjoyed the setting of Aimee's life as an actress and the bitchy characters she comes across in her provision. There were twists aplenty in this book and I didn't really have a clue what was going on. Sure, the main twist won't be to everyone's taste and is quite uncomfortable and admittedly far-fetched but this didn't bother me too much. Well worth a read, I absolutely flew through it so don't be surprised if you do too!
Thanks, NetGalley for my ARC of this title.

Aimee is a film actress that is just beginning to be recognised when she is out and about, with the paparazzi taking an interest on any exclusive footage that they can get on her. The thing is Aimee is use to playing the part of someone else, she has done since she was five when she was abducted from Ireland and taken to England. When she returns home one day, her husband Ben has disappeared, leaving behind his phone, wallet, clothes and everything anyone that was intending to walk out would take.
When Aimee tries to use her bank card it is rejected, an account that had held a substantial amount of money but the bank CCTV footage shows it was her that withdrew the cash but she knows it wasn’t. The police begin to look at Aimee in a different light than that of an abandoned wife.
This story pulled at me in so many emotional ways as it bounced back and forth between Aimee’s early life when she was another little girl and after she had been abducted. A scared and frightened child that had to learn quickly or face dreadful consequences. In present day time Aimee’s life was continuing to crack and break down as someone was trying to ruin what she had built and cause her to doubt her own sanity.
Alice Feeney had me bound to this book, I was unwilling to put it down for anything or anyone and although we were having one of the hottest days so far this year my blood ran cold and my skin had goose bumps. I scrutinised every character, hated some, felt betrayed by others and felt guilty at doubting Aimee’s sanity. Had her husband’s leaving pushed her over the edge?
Oh boy when this all began to click together it was like the biggest sugar rush and totally blew me away. I had to read the last few chapters again just to make sure that I squeezed every sensation from this ending. Pure perfection!
I wish to thank NetGalley and the publisher for an e-copy of this book which I have reviewed honestly.

This is an absolutely brilliant psychological thriller.
Aimee is concerned when her husband disappears, leaving his keys, wallet and phone behind. She goes to the shop and finds out her card doesn’t work and the bank tells her the account has been emptied.
Aimee calls the Police and they immediately suspect her.
Aimee is an actress so has to continue to work but we learn she struggles daily with who she is.
There is another story running alongside this one of a young girl who ran away and was kidnapped. She is being brought up next to a betting shop and sees all sorts of things a child shouldn’t see.
When Aimee finishes filming she is faced with the media showing an interest in her life, but who is tipping them off each time she spends time with Jack?
There is a thread in both stories of the characters being told they can be what they want to be, and whilst Aimee is clearly being targeted by someone, her coping mechanism is to pretend she’s someone else.
This is a breathtaking psychological thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat.
Thanks to HQ and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.

Thank you to the publisher and netgalley for the opportunity to read this book. Wow I have to say this book blew me away. This is by far the best book I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading. I love a good book but this is something else. The storyline and characters are absolutely brilliant. I think this book stands out more for me because I’m Irish. The twist at the end was well done. Definately worth 5 stars and more. This is a book that will stay with you for a long time after youve finished it. And you will be in a funk as to what to read next.

Wow. What a page turner. Excellent writing and length of chapters. Could not put this book down. The plot just became more and more twisted with moments that make you gasp out loud. Aimee was an “amazing actress” and it was easy to see this novel being on the big screen as it draws you into the world of the up and coming actors.

I can’t quite make up my mind on this one. Not really my cup of tea but I definitely see the attraction if you like fast paced plots which twist at every turn. I found the ending quite difficult to believe and feel like I never really came to know the main character properly, but maybe that’s part of the plan.

Aimee Sinclair is hiding many secrets, her acting career is on the precipice of something huge, and then her husband goes missing. Not only goes missing, but they'd just had a row, his phone has been left behind and someone who looks just like Aimee has taken all the money out of their joint account.
Naturally the police suspect Aimee straight away. She's trying her hardest to figure out what's happening while staying out of trouble and (barely) keeping up with the demands of her job. She keeps thinking back to the past, to her awful childhood, when she once before had to pretend everything was okay when it wasn't, when she had to pretend to be someone else. Who is after her and what do they know?
This is a very twisty tale. The writing style is choppy at first, much like what's going on in Aimee's head. This grated a little for me but I soon got past it as I really wanted to figure out what was happening.
But as soon as you think you've got used to them, even more twists come, piling them on, even when you're not sure how much you like Aimee, or what the past means, have some more twists, have some more! And this is how it continues until the end, where you're left feeling relieved and somewhat grossed out. Also, personally I was left wondering what was the point of 80% of the flashbacks to the past. Anyone else?
If you want a fast-paced twisty thriller, this could be just right for you. If you would prefer a read that slows down to breathe occasionally, perhaps not.

Thanks to Alice Feeney, HQ and NetGalley for the opportunity to read I KNOW WHO YOU ARE. By the time I'd read the first chapter I was completely hooked into this story and when I'd finished was still thinking about it. Aimee Sinclair is an actress. She returns home one night to find her husband's keys and wallet on the table, and his car parked outside the house, yet he is missing. She reports it to the police and her nightmare begins. Instantly she becomes a suspect, and when a body is found in the grounds of her home it seems it's all over for her.
But Aimee has a secret, a huge one that began when she was a child, and this secret is entwined with everything that happens to her from the moment she contacts the police. The only thing is, she doesn't know it.
I loved the premise and the storytelling and couldn't put I KNOW WHO YOU ARE DOWN. Recommended 5 stars

Read and reviewed for Netgalley pre release
I found the title of this book very intriguing. I don’t think I’ve read Alice Feeney before and I believe she has one previous book called ‘Sometimes I lie’.
When Aimee comes home and discovers her husband is missing, she doesn’t seem to know what to do or how to act. The police think she’s hiding something and they’re right, she is – but perhaps not what they thought. Aimee has a secret she’s never shared, and yet, she suspects that someone knows. As she struggles to keep her career and sanity intact, her past comes back to haunt her in ways more dangerous than she could have ever imagined.
The pacing of the books begins slowly with the introduction of Aimee Sinclair. She remembers how she used to be before acting work and meeting her husband. This is on her mind due to a row with him. I really enjoyed finding out about Aimee, she doesn’t have the ‘run of the mill’ childhood and in sharing it throughout the story it gives a really good picture of who she is. I wanted to know more about her has time went on and the story began to take changes of directions that I didn’t see coming. With that in mind, I loved the ending!
There were some sayings that I remember from childhood that come up in this book and made me smile and I’m sure others will smile at those points too. It also made my eyes water with emotion, as well as being a little stomach churning at times.
I’d recommend this book if you’re curious now and I might just have to look up ‘Sometimes I lie’, by Alice Feeney
