Oh Wow, this is one of the best psychological suspense books I have read in a while I absolutely adored this.
My first experience with this author and I am super impressed.
I don't really want to say too much about this story because I think it's just best to just delve into this blind, No preconceptions or expectations, just dive on in and prepare to have your mind blown.
So Aimee an upcoming actress arrives home to find her husband missing, all his belongings are still at home his car, phone, personal effects.
Apparently, shes also closed there joint account and withdrew the £10.000 that was in it but she has no recollection of this at all.
To further muddy the waters Aimee and Ben had a violent disagreement the evening before his disappearance.
Slowly Aimee's Life stars to implode as everything around her starts to disintegrate its one disaster after the other and all possible avenues lead solely back to her.
So this is told completely from Aimee's POV and as the story unfolds we get to witness events from two separate time frames.
It becomes very apparent that Aimee's unconventional turbulent childhood has shaped her somewhat into the woman she is today and that person we learn through these flashbacks has not had an easy ride.
Aimme is a woman of deep secrets and she keeps her card close to her chest not trusting the people around her to have her back.
Despite her character flaws, I liked her she seemed human and though she had a darker side I still believed at heart she wanted to do the right thing.
So this definitely managed to keep my attention I was absolutely enthralled throughout and I actually read this in one sitting I was that invested in the outcome.
And that plot twist!!! my god that literally came out of left field and totally blew my mind.
Didn't see that one coming at all and that doesn't happen very often with me.
"I Know Who You Are" would be fantastic on the big screen.
This was such a twisty thrilling journey that I enjoyed immensely and this is one book I recommend really highly.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of "I Know Who You Are"
All opinions expressed here are entirely my own.

If you are struggling to decide on what book to read next then struggle no more...
You NEED to read this one!
A cleverly written story that will have you as confused as the main protagonist.
Twists and turns that will have your head in a spin and a concept that is pure genius.
I could not put this novel down and more to the point, I didn't want to.
Praise for Alice Feeney.

This book is about Aimee Sinclair who is an actress. She comes home one day to find her husband Ben has disappeared. Aimee reports him missing but immediately becomes the chief suspect. Aimee suspects that the woman who has been stalking her has something to do with it but it is clear Aimee has something to hide. The story is split between two timelines 1985 onwards and 2017.
I really enjoyed this book it was fast paced and I couldn’t stop turning the pages to find out what would happen next. There were a couple of plot twists but I really didn’t like the ending and there is one detail that I cannot make sense of. That being said I look forward to whatever the author comes out with next.

The story was a bit far fetched but still enjoyed it I would have liked to have heard more about her childhood after the tragic accident instead of going straight to being. a grown woman I didn’t like the characters very much but I don’t suppose you were meant to. But overall it was exciting and I would never have guessed the ending in a million years.

Thank you to NetGalley, HQ and Alice Feeney for the chance to read this novel in exchange for an honest review.
Wow! This was my first read by Alice Feeney and she absolutely blew me away. Mesmerising from the first page, I loved the way this book was written and devoured it within a day. I just couldn’t stop reading.
Aimee Sinclair is an actress who’s star is rising. But while things are on the up professionally her personal life is flailing as her two year marriage to Ben is on rocky ground. The day after a particularly awful fight Aimee returns home to find Ben missing. Ashamed of things she said and did the night before Aimee isn’t sure how to act, leading the police to become suspicious of her behaviour. But what they think she’s hiding isn’t what she’s actually afraid of being discovered. You see, Aimee has no idea what happened to Ben but is terrified of the lie she’s been living almost all her life being discovered.
Mysterious, atmospheric, unnerving, perplexing and startling, this is a story where you’re never quite sure who the good and bad guys are. Can we trust what Aimee tells us? Can she trust her own memories? Should Aimee have our sympathy or disdain? What really happened to Ben?
Told in the present day with jarring flashbacks to Aimee’s childhood, we slowly learn what it is that Aimee is hiding and the shocking truths of this twisted tale. The final revelations were dark, heinous and mind-blowing. This year I’ve read some fantastic thrillers and this one definitely ranks as one of the best. A must read for anyone who loves psychological thrillers.

An intriguing book. The story goes back and forth between past and present both of which times offer challenges to Aimee.
You reach the end of a chapter with a comment that leaves you wanting to know more and then the next chapter takes you back to the other period of time. Your initial feeling of disappointment soon vanishes as you become engaged with Aimee’s trials in this period again.
It’s a book that you keep picking up to find out just what will happen next.
I’m not sure that I totally connected with Aimee as a person but I definitely wanted to find out what happened in the end, even though I still have some questions.
A book I would recommend to friends.
Thanks to Netgalley for the advance copy

A puzzling but deeply atmospheric roller coaster ride of a psychological thriller, keeps the reader guessing and enthralled from beginning to the end. Well worth a read!

She is the actress that people think they know but can't remember where from.
Aimee Sinclair returns home to find her husband missing, his wallet, keys and phone are still at home but Ben is nowhere to be seen.
Aimee contacts the police but DI Alex Croft doesn't trust or believe that Aimee hasn't got something to do with his disappearance.
So many twists and turns with this fantastic book, you will keep the page's turning right until the end.

Well this book messes with your head! HA!
Aimee is an actress in more ways than one it might seem. She acts for work, but does she act a part or two in real life? Well, that would be telling. She comes home one day and finds her husband gone. His wallet, keys and phone are the only sign he has been there but now he's not. Where is he and why/where did he go?
That;s just the start. Alice Feeney gets that story and grabs you around the neck then leads you down one twisty path after another. The story of Aimee's past is seriously messed up but interesting too. I think these thrillers are getting too twisty and clever for me.
No locations as such but the twists and turns of the human brain were enough for me here.

I was very excited when the email stating that my request to read I Know Who You Are was granted. I read Sometimes I Lie and knew that Alice Feeney could pull off a page turner. This book did not disappoint. I read it in two sittings and thoroughly enjoyed it. The protagonist Aimee is an actress, someone who doesn't really know who she is. When her husband goes missing and the police are called in to investigate, she discovers that she never really knew anything about the man she married. The story that unfolds is a bit of a rollercoaster, full of twists and turns. I was sure that I had it all figured out and yet was surprised by the ending. A big thanks to the author, the publishers and NetGalley for an advanced copy of the novel.

Omg I just finished a arc copy of sometimes I kill. What can I say it's like putting a pot of boiling water on the hob, then watching it get hotter and hotter till you breath again then bang you are off again. Amazing book would recommend it everyone.

An excellent read and I honestly couldn’t put it down. Lots to think about. Will look forward to the next one.

I loved this book. I didn’t want it. to end. This is a psychological story that is full of surprises and the ending is not one you will guess. Ever.
Aimee is an up and coming actress who is beginning to become more well known both in the acting world and to the general public. Aimee comes home one day and finds her husband gone. His wallet, keys and phone are there but he has vanished. Where has he gone? Why has he gone? And where is he now?
The story flicks between Aimee’s present and her past and we slowly uncover her childhood. Aimee talks as a small child and an adult and describes what’s happening very distinctly. You can almost see into her mind. But has she lost her mind? She says no. Her husband said yes. Who do the Police believe? And who can Aimee trust?
This book will keep you engrossed from the first page to the last. Just brilliant!

Mystery/Thriller
Tense, dark and twisted, at times this had me on the edge of my seat. Told in alternating timelines 2017 and 1987, this is a story of Aimee, an actress, on the verge of fame, who may or may not be who she seems to be. Well written and plotted I would thoroughly recommend this book to readers of this genre.
I'd like to thank the author, netgalley and the publishers for an advanced digital copy of this book.

Oooooh this book is a tough one to review because I'd strongly suggest that you go in blind without reading any spoilers. So as much as I want to talk about everything that happened.... that would definitely spoil it for the next reader. I really enjoyed I Know Who You Are. I usually read romance stories so to choose a thriller was a really refreshing change and I am so pleased that I did.
What I enjoy when reading a book is a story that holds my attention and this book certainly ticked that box. My mind was operating on overtime to try and work out what was going on, who was who and where the story was going next. The twists and turns had me second guessing everything and I was way off the mark when the truth was revealed, which I love when reading, but maybe I wish I hadn't been in this instance - although a certain scene that I didn't particularly enjoy reading does fit the persona of the actress heroine perfectly, and of course this is just my personal opinion. Sorry I am being vague to avoid spoilers.
I Know Who You Are is a book that I would recommend. There are scenes that made my toes curl and there are times when the angst was high. I think I will be going over this book in my mind for the next few days that is for certain. It's the first book by this author that I have read, and it certainly won't be the last.

I Know Who You Are slowly ratchets up the suspense and keeps on building right up to the final nail-biting conclusion. Psychological fiction at its best!
With dual linked storylines running parallel to each other, one, adult Aimee, the movie star, the other, Aimee the young child who was abducted and brought up as someone else’s little girl and how those storylines are connected.
There is certainly a lot of atmosphere throughout the whole book and even if you think you have things sussed, think again! On more than one occasion! I read a lot of these kinds of books so just when I think I have seen it, another author like Alice Feeney comes along and proves me wrong!
This is one of those books that it is hard to review without giving too much away and risking spoiling it for someone else so I will keep this review very short and very vague!
Some great characters, even if you don’t like them, explosive plot lines. twists and turns a plenty and it really is a clichéd ‘Could not put it down’ of a book.
Fans of this genre are going to love it, it is a book to not be missed!
I Know Who You Are will be published on 16 May 2019 and can be pre ordered now!
Thank you to the author Alice Feeney, publishers HQ and NetGalley for my digital copy of this book in exchange for an honest and independent book review.

Thanks to Netgalley and HQ for providing this book in exchange for an honest review.
This book was crazy. It centers around Aimee, an actress, whose husband, Ben disappears with his phone, car keys and wallet left in the house. The detectives are immediately suspicious of Aimee and considering that she is actress, you really don't know if she is guilty or not. The story goes back and forth between her current day predicament and her childhood.
This book was a quick read and a page turner. I thought the end was convoluted and honestly a little confusing, but definitely unexpected, so I will give points for that. I enjoyed Alice Feeney's previous novel and this one as well, so I will look forward to her next offering.

This is a good read, it twists, turns, confuses and enlightens and just when you think it's finally clear it actually isn't!
Aimee Sinclair is an actress, she is married, lives in London with her husband, Ben, and has secrets. Those secrets are gradually revealed as the book gathers speed but we also go back into the past of a little girl from Ireland aged 6 and 7. The flashbacks don't last the entire story but there are still two perspectives and although I thought I had it all worked out I only ever got halfway close.
There were a few holes in the plot, things which grated, and Aimee explains things to herself a lot, all of which lessened the experience for me but it is obvious that Alice Feeney is a talented writer and I will look out for her next book.
I was able to read an advanced copy of this thanks to Netgalley and the publishers in exchange for an unbiased review and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good read, likes to try to work things out from the start but doesn't mind getting it wrong!

This story begins in London 2017 as we delve into the life of up and coming actress Aimee Sinclair whose difficult husband, Ben, has disappeared. When she reports him missing to the police, it soon becomes clear that they suspect her of foul play and concrete evidence seems to support their view.
Back in time to Aimee’s troubled childhood, all that we learn suggests that there is every reason for her to behave in an irrational and even dangerous manner. She is treated cruelly: manipulated and abused in all manner of ways, it is no wonder that she relies on her acting skills as an adult to appear well-balanced and in control.
As the mystery of Ben’s disappearance unfolds, the reader begins to understand the legacy of Maggie, once Aimee’s mother figure, who apparently died decades ago and yet appears alive and very much kicking throughout the story. And yet, to me, Maggie seems a mere parody of wickedness in whatever guise presented. (To explain more details would be plot spoiling.) This characterisation could have been overlooked if Aimee herself had sounded authentic. However, I was not able to believe in her superfluous musings on the trouble with technology or our place in the universe. One could argue that her psyche is so messed up that whatever she says will sound peculiar. Nevertheless, this warped view of life was not a consistent voice and even the young Aimee’s ‘child-like’ speech felt falsely twee.
This novel was always going to succeed or fail by its final twist and, for me, it was the latter. Even if the reader was able to accept the motive of the villain at the centre of the narrative, there is no way that the Aimee we become familiar with would have taken on the responsibility that results from her final trauma. Or are we just meant to assume that she is completely mad?
My thanks to NetGalley and HQ, HarperCollinsPublishers for a copy of this novel in exchange for a fair review.

I enjoyed this book for the most part. Dipped a little in the middle but picked up again. Twists and turns to keep me enthralled. Enjoyed the two timelines and they worked very well. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the chance to review it
