I found the book to be quite enjoyable and interesting except for the constant HIV concerns and just being gay. I know this book was meant to reflect the 80's but those of us of a certain age who lived through the 80's really don't need reminders of the way it was and in some area the way it still is. Aside from that, a pretty nice read.
