Sweet read. Interesting concept of feeling like you don't fit in with your family. Nicolette is thrown by the possibility that her father may not be the same man as her siblings father.
I enjoyed her journey to happiness and love.

This is the last book in the series and it does not stand alone I would definitely read the series in ordr. Every book in the series is wonderful and this is Nicolette's story. She is pretty lost at the beginning of the story and this is her story about how she learns to be strong and finds the strength in herself.

She meets Bryant at her brothers wedding. He is pretty much the families enemey but he falls very hard for her and follows her to a small town in Iowa. There Nicolette finds the strength and purpose and I loved watching her grow and change. I loved how she keeps sending Bryant away yet he keeps comingback for more.

I also loved that the author does not mak this an instant love story. The two form a strong connection but they don't fall in love until the last few pages. It kinda builds as they really get to know the other but they do have strong feelings for the other.

I am so sorry the series is over. It was so great and I have loved every book though this story is one of my favorites.

This book was a great ending for a family book series, I must admit I love a good series about bunch of sibling who find true love.
I was kind of mad at Nicolette at the beginning, mostly because everyone else in her family had worked through their issues and I didn't understand why she hadn't joined the happy train, it wasn't until I saw how her relationship with Delinda really was that I began to understand her.
I guess that everyone else in the family had a chance to understand Delinda except Nicolette, she was the only one who hadn't seen the good side of her and I hadn't realized that she really was waiting for her dad to go to her.
It wasn't until Bryant- with help from Alessandro- understood how the Westerly family worked and showed both Nicolette and Delinda how to show how much they loved each other while trying to win her heart that they all became the loving family they always wanted to be, because their biggest issue wasn't if they loved each other, just that they didn't know how to show it. That was the main reason why I loved this book, because Bryant saw how much Nicolette was suffering, and instead of walking away, he helped her realize that she wasn't a failure and her family loved her.

This is the last book in the Westerly series and focuses on Nicollette, the youngest of the grandchildren. She has become lost in the family among all the changes that have happened and doesn't even know if she belongs to the Westerly family anymore. At her brother's wedding she meets Bryant, the grandson of the man the family considers an enemy. Nicollette soon leaves abruptly for a small town in Iowa to regroup. Bryant soon finds her and helps her on her self-discovery journey. Alessandro Andrade is even a part of this book! I would recommend this book but suggest that you read the others in the series first.

You just can't go wrong with a Ruth Cardello book. Her latest Runaway Heir features the youngest of the Westerly clan, Nicolette. Featuring great dialogue, interesting characters, and loads of steam this book will have you hooked from page one.

I love this series and the Westerly family. Nicolette has been a favorite in the other books so reading her story was great. She's the youngest, most neglected and in a totally different spot than her siblings.

Bryant stumbles about the beauty while traveling to Eric's wedding. While he's smitten and highly attractive, the family dynamics make it seem impossible for these two.

While this focuses on Nicolette and Bryant, you have to love the ever present meddling of Alessandro and grandmother Delinda.

Love the Iowa town and the adoring residents. This gang ending up here is amazing.

Great read and always love Ruth Cardello books.

This entire series just got me with ALL the feels. Nicolette and Bryant's story was just perfection and a wonderful addition to what became one of my favorite families and series!

Nicolette has received some disturbing news recently, and she’s not really sure where she belongs anymore, or if she’s even still a part of the Westerly family. Because of her insecurities about this issue, she is acting out and behaving poorly. Her brother is getting married as the book opens, and Nicolette is on her way to inebriation.

Bryant is the son of a man who is an enemy to the Westerly family, and all of Nicolette’s family is wary of him, except his friend, Alessandro, who is like family to the Westerly matriarch. They share a scorching kiss, but because Nicolette is drunk, Bryant doesn’t plan to take any further action that night.

Nicolette is searching for her place and purpose in this life. She gets an invitation to help a small, dying town—MacAuley, Iowa—and decides to use the opportunity to do some soul-searching. She leaves the wedding abruptly and is soon on her way there. The town embraces her and helps her shift her perceptions. She realizes some important truths about her relationships with her family members, and she begins to realize that she has the power to affect positive change for the town and its people. She also gets the courage to accept that Bryant is really there for her. There is a hilarious and cringe-worthy scene with Bryant at one point!

There is a fun twist at the end, that hints of something more in a future book. This book is part of a series, but can be read as a stand-alone, if the reader doesn’t mind missing out on some details. Nevertheless, this is one of those books that leaves the reader smiling.

Runaway Heir continues Ruth Cardello’s series on the Westerly Billionaires spotlighting the youngest, Nicolette. As the story opens Nicolette reluctantly is attending the wedding of one of her brothers, and she is angry and unsure and drinking way too much when she meets Bryant, the son of a man her family despises. From the beginning Bryant, estranged from his own father, seems to understand her almost better than she understands herself, but her insecurities and that voice in her head keep telling her she’ll always mess up any relationship she has, so true to form, Nicolette runs away to a small Iowa town that is struggling to survive. The relationship she most wants is with the man she calls Dad. The relationship is complicated and when dear old dad finally reaches out to her she and Bryant are in the middle of...a discussion...or something. The author has written a perfect storm setup that you just have to read for yourselves. In the end, this is a book about family relationships and healing hurts. Fans of the author will appreciate the role Alessandro Andrade plays in this book. The problems within the small Iowa town provide a great backdrop for character development, humor, some steam and a really enjoyable addition to the series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book. Most highly recommend.
