I love to buy non-fiction educational books for my grandsons and this second « What’s wrong » series children’s book did not disappoint me! Glenn and I absolutely love dit and spent so much time discovering each new page. Beautifully illustrated and so neat ! I recommend it whole-heartesly to anyone who has kids as well as to teachers! #WhatsWrongOnTheMove #NetGalleyFrance
Kids love puzzles, all types of activity books and especially to be challenged. This book delivers all of these fun things.
Leah and Eddie invite kids along to travel the world and discover lots of interesting vehicles. Everyone gets engaged in a search-and-find adventure. Kids are asked to sift through all the colourful busy illustrations and find things that do not belong. Faux pas are embedded in each scenario and kids will have a blast finding them. There are five blunders per page that need to be detected.
Luckily the wise author has included answers at the end of the book if some things cannot be identified and some fun facts. Both kids ( and adults ) will appreciate that feature I'm sure. The book is very entertaining and will keep kids focused and cheering as they spot the mistakes and turn the page for the next quest. Let the challenges begin!
I thought that this book was really good!
I loved that the images were nice and bright which made them attractive to my daughter and she liked pointing out the different things to me, I liked you could learn a little about the different ways of transport as well as finding out and spotting the mistakes in the book.
It is 4 stars from me for this one - very enjoyable!!
This is an okay book. Once your child discovers all of the wrong things the first time, I doubt they will return to it. Overall it's okay, but I wouldn't purchase it for anyone.
I want to thank #netgalley for a copy of #WhatsWrongOnTheMove to review. I thought this was a cute book that would be good on a trip to keep kids occupied. Trying to find all the things that were wrong in each picture was fun and I think my kids would enjoy going through this book. I liked the Dinosaur book better, but my son loves cars so he preferred this book.
This is a cute book for kids but it is not a fun book. There are 5 spot the mistakes on each page but the book is cartoonish so it is hard to tell exactly what the author is referring to as a mistake. There are a couple of hints on each page. There is really no story or adventure. The book has 9 full spread pages, each featuring a different part of a town. Like the airport, the ski slopes, the park and more. That are filled with brightly colored illustrations. At the back of the boo are the answers and some facts about why each object is wrong. The book is cute for the kids, but I prefer a book that is more educational or with a story attached.
I received this book from the Author or Publisher via Netgalley.com and chose to leave this review.
I received this as an advanced copy through NetGalley. I was not happy with the book at all. Some of the items that were wrong by the author were due to the era an item was actually used. Just very confusing. I distracted my grandchild to make it seem we found all the 5 items.
I really like search and finds so I love this book. Good, funny and challenging pictures

In this book, young children will spend time with Eddie and Leah as they search for the things that don't belong in each scene. There are five two page spreads including Flying High, On the Waves, In a Spin and On the Farm. The illustrations in each are bright, lively and engaging. At the back of the book are answers and some fun facts. A cute book to entertain your little one.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this advance read in exchange for my honest review.
An excellent book to get children to think for themselves, and engage in oral language discussions about the pictures. Lovely images and so colourful. Would recommend.
What's Wrong? On the Move by Catherine Veitch is such a fun book for kids. A fun and easy book to show kids. And to teach kids about cars, trains, boats and so on. Even my 6 year old enjoyed it
Altogether, kids – "anomaly". Here are some spreads of lively transportation, with five things wrong in each of the nine. Our task as young people getting our heads round simple concepts like air transport, construction vehicles, emergency services and so on, is to find what's wrong – and to use our innate sense of Richard Harris/Donna Summer lyrics, too. Once the 'errors' are locked into the mind this will be of little use, but before then it's OK – if you can get round the highly cartoonish quirks of the art. And the fact that the traffic jam is full of mistakes, as everything's on the wrong side of the road.
I could see using this with a toddler to keep them busy. Beyond that it doesn't have any educational value. It's a bit silly, in my opinion.
