So many secrets, an ending I didn’t expect! This was such a great thriller. While the main characters were an overdoer and the other a narcissist, they compliment each other well! I really enjoyed this book and had a hard time putting it down.

All Her Secrets is wild and twisty. As a reader, you get Lucy's perspective for a majority of the book which is nice because Lucy is a relatable character. I thought the writing was well done and the first person perspective gave insight we wouldn't have gotten otherwise. It did feel slow at some points, but the ending was solid and made up for any slowness. I give it 4 stars

A great example of a psychological thriller this book by Sue Watson keeps the reader interested and not wanting to put the book down. Lucy and her husband are leading a happy and quiet life with a lovely house and good jobs but without children as they were unable to become pregnant. News anchor Amber moves in next door and Lucy is happy to have Amber befriend her and the two fast become friends. But who is stalking Amber and why? Is it because she is a famous newscaster and has a crazy fan? Lucy convinces her husband to let Amber move in with them when Lucy finds out Amber is pregnant and doesn't want anything to happen to her friend and the unborn child. Strange phone calls, unwanted packages etc. still follow Amber to Lucy's house. After Amber's baby is born and she leaves the child home with Lucy while she leads a fast paced exciting life things come to a head and here is when the twist of the book comes in to affect. I won't spoil the readers interest but have to say I didn't expect what happened.

Wow....what a complete roller coaster of a thriller! I started this and could not put it down. It did have a little bit of a "been there done that" feel to it but its entirely forgivable. There is a lot going on in this book and writing a review is a challenge without spoiling some part of it. I love that there is a mysterious unknown narrator in parts and I also loved that I was guessing right up until the end. And what an end! Thank you NetGalley for the advanced reader copy for review.

Wow! If you like characters you love to loathe and a good mystery then All her secrets by Sue Watson is for you. Special thanks to Netgalley and Bookoutre for my ARC. This was the kind of book that had me saying oh just one more chapter. Look at clock. Who needs sleep? I could not get over how one was so pliable and the other so manipulative. But here we are. Lisa and Amber are neighbors first and then best friends. And the two of them could not be more different, Lisa is a school teacher and although not dull she’s certainly not living as grandly as Amber. The local tv station news girl. Lisa is married to Matt and seems content. Amber has a string of lovers but her real love is her philandering boss that can’t provide Amber with the love and security she craves. When Amber discovers she has a stalker, good old Lisa, overlooked friend that she is, invites Amber to live with her and Matt. What could possibly go wrong with this plan? Told from the POV of Lisa and Amber we also have a 3rd POV that creeps in every few chapters except we’re just not sure who. Totally addictive and fun read!

This was a real page turner.

Lucy welcomes her new neighbour, minor celeb and weather girl, Amber into her life and a friendship begins. Lucy drops her other friends, not liking that they haven't taken Amber to their hearts like she has and puts it down to jealousy, even her own husband Matt isn't Amber's biggest fan.

Then the stalking begins, Lucy is convinced Amber is in danger and invites her to move into her house to keep her safe.

Some things in Amber's story don't add up, no one has actually seen the stalker....

I guessed the plot of this story quite early on, it's told from two perspectives, Lucy and Amber with the occasional input from as yet an unidentified character, this character would appear to be the stalker or at least want to do some harm. I don't know what drew me to the conclusion about who it was, it was just a gut feeling and I was right!

Great read - thanks to netgalley for the opportunity to review, this is my honest opinion.

All Her Secrets is the new thriller by Sue Watson and it doesn’t disappoint.

The story is based around Lucy, a frumpy school teacher and Amber, the glamorous local celebrity weather girl. When Amber moves in a few doors down from Lucy, they become instant best friends. When Lucy discovers that Amber is being left threatening text messages and unwanted gifts, she invites her to move in with her and her husband Matt. What follows is a twisty thriller which will keep you engrossed until the end.

Can I give this 10 stars? That's what it deserves! Sue Watson is an amazing storyteller/author and with this book she perfectly wove together a web of lies, paranoia, deceit, and friendship that created one big twisty and twisted story.
The characters incredibly well developed and the setting was picture perfectly created so that it actually came to life off of the pages.
I could not put this book down. I loved Sue Watson's "Our Little Lies" and "All Her Secrets" was just as awesome. This is why I read! For books like this!
Thank you #NetGalley, the author and the publisher #Bookcouture for my free ARC in exchange for my honest review. I would also like to say the cover is perfect for this story!

Review:

This is my first time reading a book by Sue Watson. I also didn't read any reviews prior to reading the book so I was very unsure what to expect. All Her Secrets was a page turner for me. I enjoyed the book from beginning to end.

I thought the suspense and mystery in this book was extremely good. However a bit predictable. I had the "who done it" figured out in the first few chapters. That didn't stop me from loving the book. At that point I had to see if I was right.

I will admit Lucy's character was a bit frustrating. She had this need to please everyone, especially Amber, even if it was something she was not too keen on.

Overall it was an enjoyable read with a twist at the end that I did not see coming. I definitely recommend reading this book! I will also be looking for more novels by Sue Watson.

Seemed rushed in parts to jump into what the conclusion was going to be. Was just an ok read didn't love any of the characters but maybe i wasn't suppose to. Didn't have me wanting me to pick this up and continue reading took a lot to finish this one.

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book.

I received this book "All Her Secrets" from NetGalley and all opinions expressed are my own. Waiting for something exciting to happen in this book. It is kind of dragging on. The first part of the book is about Lucy and her thinking. You know something is going to happen but you don't know what. Everything is such a mess and you know that Amber is up to no good. I got through the book but just barely. The writing and characters needed work.

This was a fantastic book, I loved it from page one right to the end. At first I thought I knew how it was going but boy, was I wrong it twisted all the way through and then a big twist at the end. Highly recommend this book. It would make a great film.

All Her Secrets is full of characters you dislike.

You are meant to dislike them; they all have their flaws, some worse than others.

Lucy and Amber are friends and Lucy goes above and beyond when Amber is stalked.

The book pulls you in slowly, you really want Lucy to smarten up but at the same time feel sorry for her.

Twists and turns, unpredictable ending that makes the book !!

Thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for the opportunity to read All Her Secrets

Sue Watson is definitely an author to watch! I remember how much I enjoyed her novel, Our Little Lies so I started All Her Secrets with great interest. Right away Lucy is an unreliable narrator- the best kind for a suspense novel. Is she hiding something? Is she being truthful? She’s leading a boring life as a teacher, married to Matt, another teacher who is heavily involved with the drama program at his school. Enter Amber, the glamorous weather girl for the local news who has moved into Lucy’s neighborhood. The two become fast friends though they are very different. Amber brings glamour and excitement to Lucy’s life and when someone starts stalking Amber, Lucy is there to help and comfort her.

Lucy has a lovely husband, a job she adores as a teacher, and a house on Mulberry Avenue that she’s decorated just the way she wants – from the floaty curtains and the softest bed linen, right down to the perfectly-chosen velvet cushions on their comfortable sofa. Life isn’t perfect, but it’s pretty close.

She’s also got Amber. Her newest friend and neighbour. They’ve got so much in common. Even if Amber’s life sometimes seems a lot more glamorous and exciting, she shares Lucy’s down-to-earth sense of humour, and Amber seems so interested in Lucy and her life, it’s like they never run out of things to talk about.

But then Amber starts acting strangely, claiming her life isn’t all it seems, talking about how she thinks she might be pregnant, and confiding in Lucy that she’s started getting threatening messages.

She’s scared, and the only person she can turn to is Lucy. She wants to stay at Lucy’s house until things calm down.

Lucy wants to protect her friend. But can she really trust Amber? Because sometimes other people are not all that they seem. Sometimes they have secrets. And they’d do anything to keep them…

Why does Lucy want to help Amber so badly? Amber fills a void Lucy has but why is she so invested in Amber’s life? I had a million questions while reading this suspenseful novel! I really enjoyed this book and thought it was very good from beginning to end.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for this digital ARC. Publish date is 5/23/19.

Lucy, a teacher, and Amber, a TV weather girl, are good friends even though they live very different lives. So when Amber starts being stalked, you better believe that Lucy is gonna be doing everything in her power to keep her safe. But this difficult situation brings out some secrets and soon they don’t know if they can trust each other. Are either of them who they seem to be?

Thrillers and mysteries are my favorite genres and I loved Sue Watson’s Our Little Lies so I was excited to read this.

However, it ended up being very underwhelming. I disliked all the characters. I think you are meant to dislike them but Lucy was on my last nerve. There was some good action up until the middle where it started to drag and it got into too much detail about some of the background events. There wasn’t much of a twist in my opinion.

All in all it’s a good plot, but it just needs a little something. I just don’t quite know what it is. Check out the full description on Goodreads. It may be your thing! Also check out her book, Our Little Lies. I loved that one!

As some others have stated, this book was a little predictable, and it was a stretch to believe the absolute naivete of Lucy, and also to believe/or like Amber. Neither one was terribly interesting, and the dichotomy between the two was slightly overdone. The writing was okay, but the story and plotline could have been improved a great deal.

Lucy and Amber are strange friends. Lucy is a dowdy teacher married to Matt and Amber is a local celebrity weather girl and soon Amber is getting stalked and Lucy takes charge in looking after her. O really won’t say any more as I hate reviews with spoilers but I think this was better than Sue’s last book.

Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for this arc in exchange for my honest review.

Well what darkly woven story this turned out to be!

The author is probably better known for her wonderful women’s fiction novels but by heck is she making a serious mark in the world of psychological thrillers! This is her second offering in this genre and she has completely nailed it yet again. Is there no ends to this woman’s talents?

In the story we get to meet two very different women. Lucy is all fluffy and light who thinks baking and eating cakes solves everything. Well I have to say I’m with her on that one. Amber on the other hand very much knows what she wants in life. She has more of a harder edge to her but Lucy is just glad to have a new best friend and will bend over backwards to look after her and keep her safe and happy.

As the story goes along, it’s obvious that trouble is brewing. You get a real sense of trepidation, especially as there are some chapters from an unknown character to the reader and I couldn’t quite work out who it was. I really thought I knew some things within the story only to be totally wrong.

All Her Secrets is a story that got more engrossing the further into it I got. The author has got messing with the readers head down to a fine art and I was blown away by the end. Definitely got the adrenaline going and one I will be urging everyone to read so I can talk about it. Loved it!
