I really loved this book. It was fun and a great way to get to know yoga more. I found it very interesting and I truly think it is a great book for those starting yoga, who want to know more, or for teachers of yoga. It is also a great way to decide which poses are best for what you want to achieve.
Exactly what i needed - a way to take my anatomy study & make it a kinesthetic experience. Remembering things is much easier with colour & senses. It's so informative to understand what each pose is doing & what my body is up to - a great resource for the curious or the student.
I used Anatomy coloring books when I was in College and found them very useful. It makes both sides of your brain work and you are learning and studying without feeling like you are. I cannot recommend this book enough! You will have a better Yoga practice by using this very helpful gem!
Thanks for providing me the ARc in exchange of an honest review.
Being an electronic copy I was not able to try the colouring part, however the book is divided by body parts and muscle groups.
It is very detailed and very informative, both from an anatomical point of view and from a yoga practice’s one.
It is a great guide for anyone teaching yoga but also for fellow yogis wanting to understand better how to use specific parts of the body correctly and which exercises are adapt for certain conditions/situations.
I expect the physical version to be even better!
Since I had an electronic copy of this book, I couldn't color it, but it did help visualize muscles in a different way. This should help yoga students learn what their muscles are doing, and I think that Anatomy students might like it as well -- since it shows the muscles in movement postures rather than just static positions.
This book is excellent! It doesn’t matter that my copy is a digital version so that I can’t colour it in, I learned so much about my body from the information within which was well indexed. I will be adding the paperback to my Christmas list. Thank you Netgalley and publisher for the digital copy in exchange for my review.

The copy I received was a E-Copy since I requested from Netgalley.
The author uses her know to show reader and people interested in Yoga what muscles are being used with each pose. The book has a wealth of knowledge even without having the ability to color it. The Author explains why if done correctly or incorrectly how it can hurt the body, muscle resulting in injury.
I can't wait to buy the physical copy and enjoy the coloring as well as the knowledge that is found in this book.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy
Very very interesting take on a coloring book
The pictures are a combination of learning, relaxing, and aesthetic pictures.
You learn so much about vocabulary used in describing movement of the anatomy, and it's just very informative
Overall, it's very multi-functional - you have a coloring book that informs you and teaches you yoga.
For someone who wants to understand how yoga truly effects your body one pose at a time, this is the perfect book. Its fun and helpful.
This is one of those books that you download not quite realising what it is :) Lovely to scroll through, bit hard to colour. Perfect for a yoga enthusiast.
I like the drawing in this colouring book, they describe the structure of the body that the yoga postures work and that exercise the muscles described. Colouring the structures of the body, the bones and the muscles helps the reader understand how the postures exercise that area and help with the performing of the posture. Understanding leads to improvement.
The author describes the muscles and the bones and how they work, which leads into how the yoga postures support the maintenance of these areas.
Although I had an electronic copy of the book and was therefore unable to do the colouring of the physical elements of the body, which I would have loved to do, I still feel that this is a really useful book in terms of caring for my body. I will be using some of the postures to ensure my continuing health and physical strength, particularly following a period of intense pain and discomfort, resulting in x-rays and MRI scans to find the cause.

I received an e-ARC of this novel through NetGalley in exchange for a fair and honest review. NetGalley does not allow for paid reviews.
