This was such a fun read! It wasn’t on my radar before I saw it on booktube and I was so glad I was able to receive an eARC from the publisher! This volume includes a number of stories exploring sexuality. My favorite story was Good Foundations. I found it to be so sweet!
My only complaint was I wish the stories were longer. I really hope we will get more volumes!
This graphic novel is a collection of erotic stories of many kinds. I was looking for more in terms of the story content, but I think the authors/creators were more concerned about the sex parts.
First off, this is classified as erotica and it is most definitely explicit. Despite the superhero theme it is not for children. There are plenty of ejaculating penises and other nudity which is expected in an erotic comic. I appreciated the diversity of the characters and their real, non-stylized bodies. I also liked the emphasis on consent and respect in these interactions although I did find them to be limited in plot and generally just getting right to the sex. That’s not to say the characters don’t have their backstories but these are told in character profiles at the end of each section and not incorporated in the story itself. Let’s be honest, this isn’t Shakespeare and it never claimed to be deep and meaningful. It is porn in graphic novel format which is great if that is what you are wanting. Personally, I was hoping for a little more of a plot and more in depth character development and this book left me a little cold. I think I may not be the right audience for this sort of thing! If you just want to see drawings of people getting it on then this may be perfect for you. Apparently, it is not my cup of tea.
Thank you to Oni Press and Limerence Press for providing an Electronic Advance Reader Copy via NetGalley for review.
This was a very successful erotic publication. Meredith McClaren excelled in executing a tricky balance of words and art. Will be recommending.
Excellent creative work. Stories were lil blunt but can understand considering the genre. Would like to read other parts of this series. Would like to see some more LGBTQ+ representation like in this one.
I don't know if it's either the fact that I'm so not used to reading stuff like this or what the deal is, but it made me feel a little... awkward.
The artwork in it is rather brilliant and well drawn, the writing... I don't know. I guess I needed more? Reading full novels has ruined me, it seems.
All in all, it's a quick and fun sexy read, all the kinks and things just weren't for me!
Thank you NetGalley, Oni Press and Limerence Press for the ARC.
This is a Sexy, Fun graphic novel.
Great art!
Quick read!
I really enjoyed this graphic novel. It was super fun and super sexy. I wish some parts were little bit longer. But overall i really liked it.
This brought me back to my old comic book days with an ultramodern LGBT+ twist. Snappy, to the point and fun. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own
I got this for free to give an honest review through Netgalley!
<i> Content Warning: Scarring, explicit sex
One thing I love in this world is the quote unquote 'superworld', and I love how this collection explores loads of different relationship dynamics- for example, super villains, heroes and villains, civilians, etc. It’s a little look into what it’s like on the sex and romance side of their lives, it’s all very cute and sometimes domestic. I love the insight we get into their powers and stories in the little panels at the end of each story, so we know more about the couples.
I’m really adept at attaching myself to characters when I explicitly know the story is being told in short form, so I found it so easy loving the characters. ‘Freezer Burn’ made me cry with laughter, both his humour and when I found out his alias. I think Meredith McClaren has a lot of fun with these comics, and that comes across a lot in the characters.
There's also really great art, with a very distinct style that brings to life the features of these characters that sets them apart. Even though it’s all done by the same writer/artist each comic feels like it’s got something different to it that makes the art and the story being told stand out. There's a lot of great diversity, with different races, sexualities and gender identities, and I was absolutely over the moon to see a fat character having fun, too!
This also promotes healthy discussions of sex and BDSM within the bedroom, e.g. safe words, discussions of what makes people happy, things like that. There’s no kink shaming, and consent is intrinsic to all layers of every sexual encounter you see! There are also has mentions of monogamy and polyamory, and even though it’s not in depth, it was nice seeing it brought up and discussed without demonising polyamorous people and relationships.
Of course Jack, 'Freezer Burn' was my favourite, but I really liked Charlotte, who has spider powers. She unhinges her jaw and I honestly love her.
Highly recommend this! My heart feels so full after reading it.

I would love to thank Limerence Press, Meredith McClaren and NetGalley for this book in exchange for an honest review.
Warning: Don't read this book if you are under 18 years old!
This graphic book is about superheroes and villains and their sexual relationships. The images are very explicit, but the stories themselves are great, in my opinion. I would have loved if they were a little longer. The characters are actually cute and no matter if they have big weight, or ar trans or anything else, their partner shows trust and love. And this was something I really appreciated about this book.
It comes out on 20th of August, so go buy it then if you are interested!
Well, I really liked that this is super-inclusive and shows a lot of discussion happening between partners! It's refreshing to see conversations about likes/dislikes, consent, and safety being shown in erotic fare.
Unfortunately, once each of the stories get to the "spicy" parts, I was left a bit cold. The kinks within are pretty specific and if they're not something you're into, then chances are those parts are not going to be much fun. I also sort of wish there'd been at least one story showing more negotiation between partners who aren't necessarily fully into the same things.
So yay for showing diverse, inclusive scenarios. And double-yay for providing examples of being vulnerable to explain what you'd like to try. Hopefully the next volumes will have even more to learn!
3 stars for Super Fun Sexy Times.
Thanks to NetGalley and Oni Press for providing me with a DRC of this book.
Well, this was a strange one. Very explicit, weird kind of superheros. Not really for me I am afriad, the animations kind of put me off too. Sorry but now one to keep.
Holy Crap. I LOVED THIS SO MUCH. I already can't wait for the second volume. Part of me wishes the character info was at the beginning of the storylines.

If you want something sexy and fast to read I recommend this graphic novel.
Besides the wonderful art, the 5 stories are sexy and inclusive, we have stories of 5 wonderful couples that you will end up identifying with some of them.
For being short stories I admit that I was very willing to more of them, for me it seemed that it was an introduction of characters, that made me fall in love with them all, and I would certainly read more about them.
I was intrigued by this book and requested it. If I'm honest it wasn't my cup of tea however the graphics were very good.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this in advanced in exchange for a honest review.
I really liked this comic book, especially the art work!! The story itself was pretty cool! I just wanted a lit more !
Thank you so much to Netgalley for this e-arc in exchange of my honest review
Thank you to netgalley and publisher for providing me a review copy in exchange for an honest review.
Super sexy fun times is exactly what the title says: Five short erotic comics featuring superheroes, first loves, villains and mercenaries. These collection of comics make up one wonderfully queer and diverse volume that I cannot wait for the world to see!
Worst Cade Scenario.
Rival sidekicks Jack F. and Malcom Easley get locked in a room and decide to make the most of it. This was super sweet and I loved the discussion regarding Jack’s back scars!!
The Pre-Fuck.
Expert Tactician Amelia Brown and Superhero Alexei Golokov get together to discuss the arrangement of when and how they’re going to have sex and they get a little carried away. I loved the discussion regarding each of their kinks and consent on what they will and won’t do. It’s rare that we see this in erotica and it’s something that should be included more.
Good Foundations.
This addition features villains Owen Moreau and Charlotte Colt. Who would have thought a short story with villains would be the cutest?? I love this one so much! Charlotte and Owen are in a committed relationship and Charlotte is worried when Owen tells her they have something they need to tell her. Owen discusses how he feels like a girl, a boy and sometimes neither of the two. Charlottes reaction was wonderful and I loved how she showed Owen that he/she/they can be comfortable in their identity. While this was as erotic as the first two it was also more than just sex!
Safe.
Superhereos Kavi Narang and Cora Jenkins decoded to spice up their relationship with some roleplay. This is one of the cutest f/f comics I’ve ever read. Like the rest, the start features our couple discussing their boundaries and making sure they have each others full consent. I loved that Cora was fat. My fat sapphic heart rejoiced, her and Kavi ( and the rest of the gorgeous art) were drawn beautifully.
The Responsive Parties
60 year old famous assassin Eilo De Leon and his lovable home-ec teaching husband, Samuel De Leon, have some fun after Eilo convinces himself he may be too old for his job!
I loved that in this story we got some old age characters who are also pretty damm badass; especially Eilo and his assassin skills. Assassins are my favorite and mix that with lovable queer assassins and I’m done. I adored this one.
Overall: this erotic graphic novel is without a doubt, a new favorite. It features a range of different queer characters, body types and POC characters. The artwork is unique and absolutely stunning. I’m looking forward to the release so I can grab a much needed copy for my bookshelf.
Thought this was a really cute and steamy comic. I enjoyed every story and appreciated that alot of the character were diverse and LGBT+.
Absolutely loved this! Definitely super fun sexy times where had. My only complaint was I wish the stories were longer. Other than that, it was adorable and perfect! I hope there are more volumes of this to come because I would definitely pick them up.
