ONE NIGHT OF PASSION is the third book in the Wicked Dukes Club series.

Sweet and romantic from beginning to end.

This is my kind of book.
Main character Miss Priscilla Weatherby is not looking for love at all. She wants to reach her twenty-fifth birthday single so she can receive her trust and set out on adventures of her own. She is definitely not looking to fall in love with a man who is just too perfect and is content with his life in London.
But destiny has other plans 🥰👍

I received a free copy of One Night of Passion in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoy Erica Ridley's writing style and humor, and this book did not disappoint. I am really glad Priscilla and Thaddeus got the it happy ending, and I can't wait to see more of Ridley's work.

One Night of Passion (Wicked Dukes Club, #3) by Erica Ridley is a heartwarming historical romance that can be read as a stand alone. This is my favorite in this series so far! I loved these characters. It's such a refreshing story. Thaddeus Middleton is searching for "The One", but in his search, he discovers she was there all along. The pursuit is on and it's definitely entertaining. I've always enjoyed this author's writing and this is no exception. A fabulous story written about the desire for love, companionship and happiness. If you've read any of the Rogues to Riches Series by Erica Ridley, you will completely fall for this book too. I did.

By turns funny, sexy, touching and thoughtful, this Historical Romance keeps the reader engaged. The plot twists keeps you guessing all the way to the satisfying conclusion. Definitely recommend this one!

One night of passion was all she wanted - she didn’t think she needed or wanted, to get married, after all it would really interfere with her life - her requirement to remain unmarried in order to inherit a fortune. A fortune that would enable her to live well as a single female on the interest - once invested - and that would allow her to join her father and grandfather in their adventuring. But she had to behave as though she would like to get married - to attend balls and parties etc.
Erica Ridley always writes a good Regency romance and this one adds in the idea that a single female could go adventuring - if she had the money -Gertrude Bell of course is one of the most famous but she was a little later in the century. The one that really could be used as a model was Jane Elizabeth Digby (1807-1881). She managed to marry 3 times, have 5 children, and at the age of 46 married a Sheik and lived in the desert and went adventuring with him.

One Night of Passion by EricRidley, one of the Wicked Dukes series is a delightful historical romance. This series, more than most, explores the limitations put on young women. Loved the storyline; lots of twists and turns that kept it interesting. The characters were fascinating as well the more detailed storyline brought out the uniqueness of each character. They grow through the story. I loved and disliked them, read more and changed my opinion as I got to know them better.
I love everything about Erica’s writing. Can wait for more.

I found this story very hard to read, I found that it wasn’t captivating enough I eventually read it after many times of putting down and picking it up. I am sorry but I can’t recommend it .

This is Thaddeus Middleton and Priscilla Weatherby’s story, 3rd in the Wicked Dukes Club series; a standalone, happily ever after, no cheating, historical romance with some sizzle.
Quickly developed storyline, with interesting characters. The characters held my interest from the beginning. She doesn’t realize what she is missing by placing her life on hold, trying to mold herself to another’s ideals, never trusting anyone with her heart and the chance they may leave her behind. He is trying to find a love who will love him in return, without regrets.
Nicely told story, fast read.
I received a copy of this story through NetGalley for my honest opinion.

Great characters! I loved the verbal back and forth between Thad & Priscilla! They were fun. And the interactions between Wednesday and Saturday were hilarious. This has been a great tag team series by Erica Ridley and Darcy Burke and I am looking forward to the next book.

Ridley wooed me with her characters in this story. I loved that Priscilla had this one dream, and that when she could have it - she realized that her real dream was something else all together :)

Swoon worthy! Delightfully sweet story with a sweetheart of a male main protagonist. Loved it and will look for more by this author. Thank you publisher and netgalley for this arc in exchange of an honest review.

Right from the first page of the book, I loved the hero, Thaddeus’s character. Don’t get me wrong, he was no rogue, like some of my other favorite heroes but someone completely different, an extremely nice, lovable hero. Oh, what a delight it was to read about him! He is looking for love but the heroine, Priscilla wants to become independent and never marry. She is only counting days until her 25th birthday when she will inherit a fortune which will allow her to travel like her father and grandfather. It was so sweet to see how Thad woos her and never gives up on her. This is such a sweet and romantic story. This is book three in the Wicked Dukes Club series that this author has written in collaboration with Darcy Burke, where Erica Ridley is writing all the even numbers in the series and Darcy Burke is writing all the odd numbers in the series. It is a novel concept and the authors have done justice to all the books I have read so far. I would definitely recommend reading this book as part of the series.

Such a sweet story!

Thad and Priscilla's story was just delightful. Thad is ready to get married, and looking for love. He's keeping his options open, knowing that looking in all of the same places isn't going to cut it...in the meantime, though, he's fairly content with his life: his rented home, his friends and family, and the biographies he loves to read. Priscilla never wants to get married; that institution hadn't done her mother or grandmother any favors. She's counting the days until her 25th birthday, when she hopes to use an inheritance to join her father and grandfather in exploring the world.

How could these two ever find an HEA together?

Every time the two of them are on the page together, it's just magical--he's just so darn adorably smitten with her, and is trying make her rethink her world view on meeting at a time. Her grandmother--the only person who's stayed with her from the beginning--tries to point out some painful truths to her, but it's an unexpected visitor who helps Priscilla to figure out where her heart is truly trying to lead her, to Priscilla and Thad's relatively angst-free but very romantic conclusion.

Counting the days until the next book in the series! (Though this one would really work just fine as a standalone too)

Rating: 4 stars / A-

I am loving this series! I found Thaddeus and Priscilla’s story entertaining. Thaddeus is a long-time bachelor looking for his special someone. Priscilla is looking forward to spinsterhood, so she can travel on various adventures. I found myself grinning and giggling at the lengths Priscilla went through to avoid Thaddeus and love. I really enjoyed it and look forward to the next book.

Loved this book!! Absolutely devoured this and thought the banter/chemistry between the hero/heroine were engaging. I thought the ending was perfect. Based on this novel, I would definitely pick up another book by Ms. Ridley. Looking forward to others in the series!

One Night of Passion, the third in Erica's Ridley's Wicked Dukes Club series, was a charming, well-written, romantic book. Thaddeus "Thad" Middleton is looking for a wife and wants one interested in him more than his money. He had observed that most Ton marriages were for political, financial or social reasons. He wanted romance and love.

Priscilla Weatherby has remained unwed and scandal-free after several Seasons in order to inherit a fortune and be free to travel the world. Her father and grandfather had chosen adventure over the women who loved them, and her grandmother was distant with her. The only HEA she expects is the one she makes for herself.

Thad and Priscilla meet at Almack's, and he is immediately attracted. While Priscilla rebuffs him, he is not deterred.

"Only a fool would overlook a woman like Miss Weatherby"

Thaddeus Middleton is no fool. He sets out to enchant and captivate Priscilla, and she doesn't stand a chance as he is determined to do all he can to win her. He is truly a hard-to-resist, swoon-worthy hero!

While this is the third book in the series, it reads very well on its own. I really enjoyed it and definitely recommend it!

This is funny, unpredictable and romantic. Thaddeus is romantic, charismatic, sweet and funny. Priscilla is strong, cheeky, stubborn and vulnerable. Koffi is demanding and amusing. Thaddeus is looking for "The ONE", but while he's looking he's decided to help the wallflowers and others by dancing with all of the ladies who lack dance partners. Priscilla is just biding her time, staying as inconspicuous as possible, until her 25th birthday. She will receive a trust fund if she is not married by then, and she desperately wants that money so she can chase down her father and grandfather, who are adventuring and have stayed gone her whole life. But after Thaddeus and she have an amusing conversation, and he keeps pursuing her for more conversations, she starts to really like him. They become friends, and find that they have much in common, and the more time they spend together, the more they want the other to be "The ONE". It has some very witty dialogue, and is full of dry humor. This is my favorite of the series so far, it should be added to the top of your TBR list. (the whole series)
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.

Erica Ridley always manages to make you fall in love her characters in this book is another great example. Thaddeus Middleton is looking for a wife who will want him for him as a man not just his money. He meets Priscilla Weatherby who will inherit a fortune provided she remains unwed and with no scandal attached to her name. So far so good until she meets Thaddeus and they are instantly drawn to each other. Thad is everything she would want in a husband, he’s sweet and kind but is she willing to sacrifice her independence she so desperately wants. Your instantly drawing into this book and these characters and you really want them to fall in love but also keep true to themselves. It’s a wonderful well written book, with the right amount of love and passion. I loved every minute.

A buy buy book...
I had to really think about the review before writing this one. A novella ... one by an author that is extremely talented. However, it took me a little while to get into the story on this book. I almost went three stars. Then all of a sudden everything changed! This delightful little addition to the series captured me and swept me away. I had to give 4 stars instead of five because it took awhile for it to really get my attention. As usual the author writes a funny wonderful romance that is full of life and enjoyment. So buy the book and sit back and enjoy. I shall keep looking for more from this author as she has a way of entertaining her readers.
